German AP has bad penetration. You would need to hit the upper belt, which has a rather small area imo. Try bow/aft maybe? Kremlin Deck can even shatter german HE.

Because angling against AP is easier? You can only try to make yourself smaller if something spamming you with HE. Shooting AP at a broadside hightier BB with thin plating also deals more damage if you are a Wooster or a Smolensk...

The only thing which is bad imo, are HE spammers coming with smoke. But they are usually russians, so i guess its fine for WG

Torps are crazy, and you snack DDs like there is no tomorrow Kami doesnt want to be spotted - no problem for Jaguar. The only difference is, Smolensk doesnt need much skill to get decent results. Noobs will fail miserably in French DDs tho. And Colbert is just a deathtrap for bad players.

Thats not really true. There are different level on how good you need to be in order to win certain games. Basicly if you are AFK, you will still win 3 out of 10 games. That also means you will lose 3 out of 10 games. This is quite true if you look at worst/best players. Having more than 70% solo WR is almost impossible (super unicum CV players could do it, not sure how it currently looks like) and having below 30% is also something you wont see. So that means, 4 out of 10 games can be influenced by personal skill. That doesnt mean, that you need to hardcarry kraken, solo warrior, high caliber each of those. I also find it quite amusing, that people always refer to having potato team vs super unicum team which you cant win... yes happens to everyone. But people also win when they die first with 5k damage done. They conveniently forget that.

I hope they forgot about it too. I guess from WGs pov premium consumables dont make much sense, because poor noobs most likely dont use em. If they were to use em, WG could milk them for credits one way or the other. But removing them will make the skill gap smaller, thats why i think they wanna do it

FreeXPed to Vauquelin for the 250 tokens, so ill get a permacamo for Jaguar. Played a Narai in it Randoms were a mixed bag. T7 was just bad. I expected that actually, as it seems T7 sees more T8+9 games... with weekend playerbase yeah, not fun at all. T4 was nice (so WG, you wanted us to sealclub?) HE blapp a DD, is balanz T8 was also nice, i think the first T8 only game ive ever seen.

I think you could post a few replays. And you shouldnt focus on higher tiers yet, you only have 500 battles played. Thats not nearly enough to get the basics. Try Cruisers and DDs aswell. It will teach you how to play BBs. If you play Cruisers, you know what it feels like if all your BBs sit in the back, or if you play DD you will see when a BB is overextended and you can easily torp it. Looking at your stats, you did ok in Orion. But Orion is also extremely strong for its tier. Play more T5-7, try to be more effective there. You dont have much business in T8+ games. And you need to analyze your mistakes afterwards. If you died early, why did it happen? If you didnt accomplish much, maybe you could have been more effective?

Id consider it on Smolensk too. its like 10% or more for those 2, which aint bad. Sadly, dont have the points. For Smolensk you also could have like 40 captain points

You dont need turret traverse, they turn with 30deg / sec. Thats plenty. Either take AR or LS. Better yet, also scrap 2 T1 skills and take both. (what you need EL for? Reload is 3 sec, i dont think you waste an opportunity by switching 1,5 sec slower) Then probably also PM, because PT i think you need that one. Also no SI? Not sure about that. but maybe you dont need that extra heal anyway.

Sometimes i wonder too... its like "did you really tell me i hit 3 times the citadel armor on that angled DM?" And sometimes you get them broadside and all shells "conveniently" overpen because they dont hit the Citadel Minos citadel armor is quite large tho, so you might ricochet off it if he is properly angled.

So its likely, that the others have more useless fire damage which can be repaired 100%. Emerald also has slightly more avg kills which does indicate, that Emerald's damage is more valuable. It does fall behind in WR together with Omaha tho... (but they are all fairly together within a 1% range) I think thats because it got buffed since the topic was started. Or maybe it was before that... dont know. Emerald change was in ST in july 2018.

This. Disabling the chat in a teamgame... If someone annoys you: Blacklist him. The problem was, pinging couldnt be blocked. But apparantely you cant ping-spam anymore so that would have solved everything imo. 99% of the time im not bothered with people blowing a little bit steam off. I report them for misbehaviour in chat, hope they get chatbanned, maybe they learn something. For people that cross the line, blacklist and send screens to support. But snowflakes these days probably feel offended 99% of the time by everything

Well depends a bit. Its still usefull vs most Cruisers, you will only get shatters on US/German CAs on T8+9, because you lose the ability to pen 27mm, but it will still pen 25mm. Cruisers which have 30mm armor already shatter IFHE HE anyway. I had PT / AR / SI / DE / IFHE / CE. Imo worked well. First game was right away 175k Didnt miss the range at all, alltho the map favored me as it was hotspot. And AP is surprisingly lethal on BBs aswell

I agree, because having 3x Toptier BB / DD division is almost guaranteed a game you cant win. They will just go somewhere - all together - and be as useless as possible. Idc if they would be usefull, but 99% they are not.

Does help against all Cruisers except the 30mm covered TX ones. So i think its worth it. Imo alpha > fire damage

Hmm sounds reasonable. I have 50k left after buying Smolensk just now. In general, im not interested in Georgia or Yoshino anyway (Yoshinos only incentive would be the extra SC for Wows anniversary, but thats right around the corner anyway and i cant get 200k Coal in that time )
