How about no? Most likely something else blapped you, and the DD just got a few k damage in for the kill. Even if he would have gotten 6 Citadels, it couldnt be more than 12k damage or so. Better post some replays here. Just add the replay file from the game here, maybe we can point out a mistake. I consider this already to be a mistake. So the DD could spot your BEFORE he entered the cap? If he would enter the cap first, then you could react to it

RN CLs arent the easiest Cruisers to play - and Cruisers arent easy to play to begin with You really have to work with your concealment with Neptune. Dont push too far ahead, when you expect a DD being there. If you are spotted, have to slowdown and smoke up, you are food for BBs. They can hold their fire till you are almost standing still, and then they can punish you. If you expect getting spotted soon, slow down to halfspeed in advance, then the smoke will conceal you faster. I think, Neptune needs a slight concealment buff (<10km) and same for smoke fireing debuff (<6km). There is no reason that its >10km and >6km. Otherwise, Neptune is good.

That happens when 20 out of 24 people in a battle blame their team for losing all the time, instead of improving their gameplay I very much believe that this game has a newb-protection, so newbies cant get punished too much. F.e. today i tried to shoot a Clemson at 6km turning full broadside in my Orion... i "missed" 2 salvos entirely No, i didnt aim badly, i couldnt see the ship anymore through all the water splashing around Checked the player afterwards: 170 games played. I decided to not shoot him anymore, next salvo on a Kamikaze (can hardly be a newb) right away over 5k, no problem. Or once an Alabama being full broadside at <10km in my Missouri, several salvos i got shatters/bounces/overpens for like <4k damage per salvo. He shoots me with his frontguns in my angled bow: >10k If i see a good player on the enemy team (f.e. good clan) i always feel i get more damage/citadels on them. When you shoot bad/new players, you get weird shatters/bounces, damage saturation despite being almost full HP, pens that deal no damage.... Would something like that make sense? Yes and no...

Thats kinda the issue i believe. You can balance 8 gun big caliber BBs - without extra gimmicks around it. But in the end, you could make 3 BBs (Repu/Thunderer/Ohio) which are basicly all the same, because if you try a different approach, you will either make the OP or UP (Ohio was OP first, while Thunderer was UP, then they made them more similar). Georgia is a bit different on T9 with only 6 guns. They just wanted to copy paste it to TX as Ohio. We have far too many ships in the game already, and you can hardly make them unique from one another. You can only make them stronger (more gimmicky) to make them more interesting. -

Its really not what im experiencing lately. Also, that doesnt make sense from the Screenshots you initially posted. Unless both of the teams face rolled each other in less than 10 minutes Its way easier than what you want WG to do... -
Yeah... ive seen some good clan players play like absolute horseshit aswell Not long ago on T5, had 2 players on our side from good clans, one of them finished last and the other yolo suicided They both played Pyotrs even....

If you have PEF, you shouldnt be disappointed with the guns. They are really accurate Have 7 Sprint games with PEF now and >41% Hitrate. People just think, PEF is bad because the pen is not good. If you get rid of DDs and Cruisers, you dont need awesome pen for BBs, you can close the distance and it will work.

I think thats the problem with Ship WR combined with low battle count. Even noobs can get lucky and have a 60% WR with 10-20 games or so. Already one reason why i wouldnt use MMM.

I like Ryujo the most because of AP bombs. Ranger 2nd, Furious last. Alltho, i can get similiar results with Ryujo and Ranger, but Furious definetely lacking in damage output.

Does it bring income to WG? No So probably 2022 ™ when someone accidently activates it, but then they will remove it after 4-5 patches because it was a "bug" Throwing more and more other stuff at us is more important than achievements, requests from the playerbase about game mechanic changes or Operations....

TBF, that game doesnt tell you anywhere about stuff like that. In T6/7 a lot of BBs can lolpen one another. Suddenly, that changes with T8+. Heck, even i didnt exactly know that once i got Missouri back in the day. The difference is, either you are willing to learn - or not. If not... yeah, that stuff like that happens. Also, getting "impossible" citadels doesnt help bad players understand gamemechanics. Ive seen citadels over the past couple of years, which are just rediculous at best. And seems to be getting worse with SAP citadelling BBs and such.

Hasnt been that bad for me. They seem to render irregularily after exiting the barrels... Makes smoke shooting basicly impossible. I think its a "feature" so CVs cant blapp ships in smoke as easily, ive heard it has been harder for them because AA is spawning also all over the place.

Yeah, as i said, he came around an island. He didnt have much choice tho. As for the Cruisers: The solution would be, to make BBs much more inaccurate at longer ranges. I think its worse to devstrike Cruisers at >16 or more km, than blapping them out of the water at closerange. A lot of mechanics just make it "unreasonable" for BBs to push in: - They have long range so they can reach pretty much hit anything without taking much risk (cruisers have a hard time hitting you if they even reach you and torps often dont have the range either) - Close range results in more overpens because shells wont detonate in time - Dispersion is not realiable enough at closer ranges except for russian BBs. Its no wonder why a lot of BB players play the way they do... its just much more convenient for them, even if they lose more often (and then they still blame the team anyway)

Sounds kinda familiar Hindenburg first TX, managed almost 160 games. 2nd was Mino so far only 46 games. Then GK which i played a bit more with 75 now, its quite good and if someone in division wants to play TX i kinda have to pick CA/BB as i dont have a DD. Think got Salem after that which has 9 random battles (but i did play it in CBs and much more in Coop for certain missions). Then Wooster (30), Stalingrad (13) and last Smolensk (2)... Forming a pattern here But tbh, its the same for Freemiums (FreeXP/Coal/Steel) Missouri 224 Nelson 55 Kronshtadt 11 Salem 9 Musashi 46 JB 10 Alaska 21 Stalingrad 13 Smolensk 2 They are glorified Port queens. Missouri was special and nice, as it was only 1 at that time. Now i have so many, how should i play them all Its not even that they are bad ships, i just prefer others more, or in general other tiers. Kinda the same reason why i dont like to grind so much. But f.e. i think Salem is a good ship, its just Radar Mino is more fun to play However i really do want Montana (see how it is) and Yamato because Musashi is great, so Yamato should be even better (even got the LM already ) -
BBs could brawl better if they would get better dispersion close range. Russian BBs have it. Its unholy what you can do at <10km Yesterday in CBs f.e. Cossack tried to ambush me from behind an Island (me being Vladi). Cossack comes around *Slap* and that was a dead cossack. Im pretty sure, every other BB couldnt have killed him (i needed 5 out of 6 hits) or he would have gotten his torps of atleast. Or a few days ago, my clanmates in Discord "Balti is going for DFens" -> Blap the Balti through the Bow out of the water Some actual ingame footage from russian BBs:

Yes BBs complain all the time That put aside, BBs always have the range to do something even if they would get focused by a CV (or anything else really). A DD being focused cant really do anything, unless its a 20km shima turd. There is absolutely 0 fun in playing a game like that. And it doesnt help to say "oh but he couldnt attack your teammates". Incidently, BBs should be the prime target for CVs, yet BBs care the least for being attacked. Only AP bombs hurt a bit more if your BB actually comes with a Citadel

What kinda build do you use? Started to get good results once i went full tank build. Play a bit more careful at first, get rid of HE spamming Cruisers. Then you can pretty safely roll over the enemies because of its tankyness. Thats why i wonder, how ill do in Monty... (when i get it ) Guns should be better, but with GK i could turn games because of distracting the enemies with pushing and tanking.

So you are mad because you had a great game which you lost? You think, if you would have had better players on your side that you would have gotten the same result? It simply cant work, that you win every game where you did great, because its still a 12vs12 teamgame. Its even easier to do well in a game and lose it, because you could farm the enemies for a longer period. If you produce consistently good results, you will win more on average. But you will still lose great games. And you will still win games, where you didnt do much either. The only way, to win more games while doing very well, is to play in a 3x (Super) Unicum division. When you have 3 guys producing good results, those losses could be wins.
