Its only a softcap, like 5 BBs is a softcap. Only CVs have a hardcap. oh forgot one thing: I suspect faildivisions to be the cause for this (Aoba Lyon). I think, WG realized, that people are using faildivs to rig the MM, so they let them sit in queue for 3-5 mins or so

Ive seen people on twitch just sending invites to anyone who has no clan... Clearly no indication. And country-specific clans are the worst, they take anyone who is from that country

Try to find out where the enemy DD is. If its domination, is not that hard. With standard battle, can be more tricky ofc, unless you get spotted. For Domination, if you see the cap he is going, you can act accordingly, as you have both speed (well, midtiers not THAT much) and HP advantage. So even if you lose a bit more, you might still win the fight and after that you can do what you feel like. For standard battle is a bit more tricky i guess, maybe you can check if you see torps anywhere on the map for an indication where he (roughly) might be.

So you rather decide never to have a really good game + fight and lose right away? Even in the event of a loss, you still get more XP/credits if you keep fighting as long as possible. -
Lucky you? Ive had Russian/IJN gunboats completely ignoring caps (or sometimes even spotting when they sit in smoke), even tho they could have taken it, because they were the only DD. Alltho, 1 DD games you can work around, ive had games with 3 DDs while our side had nothing but bad concealment gunboat DDs and the enemies had 2 IJN + dunno what it was (german probably as i recall it having Hydro). It just ends horribly, and is pretty unfun to play. As for the other stuff, Forlornsailor put in nicely already: BCs/Cruiser could be seperated imo, now that we have a few on T9. No need to put Alaska/Kron in one team, and the others get Seattle and Donskoi (if possible that is). But lets say Overmatch vs normal: That shouldnt happen that one side gets all the Yamatos, while the other gets none. Can happen, but normaly it should put 1 Yama in each team f.e. And Radar is one, many people would like to balance between teams, but i agree, it can take away the surprise moment of RN CLs using radar instead of smoke, so its a bit iffy. Ofc sometimes you have those obvious radar imbalances with 4vs0, which could have been more balanced.

Then send a ticket to support if thats true. Game rigging is against the rules, ive done so a few times when clans count in and end up on different teams. And thats just wrong. Ofc if more people throw the towel, then its lost (its like deliberately fulfilling your thinking: Think you lost -> play bad -> lose, so you can say: i was right afterall) We were down 5:1 ships ( as i just kill one to make it 5:2) and out of those 5, 3 died in the first few minutes: 2 BBs and a Cruiser, not even the DD.... But we still managed to win, ofc the enemy team played their own part in losing, but thats still a valid point: if a team is so bad, that they can throw any game, its always worth fighting till the end. -

Mine usually die to everything. Doesnt exclude DD torps which also is not the worst option. How about just straightlining into enemy base as start with a Leningrad? And dying. How about ANOTHER DD following the same Leningrad, and surprisingly dying aswell. Dont need to tell you, they didnt need enemy DDs to spot them, that was all on our DDs. And meanwhile enemy DDs are: T-22 Sealclubber with CE and everything. Gnevny gunboating and yolotorping a few of our ships (nope, shooting DDs was not the agendy of our team, even tho our BBs were constanly shooting HE). We are back to the thread i opened a few days ago: People yolo suicide speed grinding. Full ahead, hope you might hit something with torps, 3 mins later you are dead NEXT SHIP rinse repeat. Few hundred XP, and while all other s***ers can play for 15+ minutes to try to turn the inevitable, we get a little bit more XP - thx for nothing. The whole XP concept is upside down, where its better to spam battles than to actually play for 15-20 minutes.

I guess its easier to change the Setup rather than to change how people play. Havent we been all there, getting only gunboat DDs on our side while the enemies get IJN/German/RN DD f.e. They go in, take the cap, and your gunboat DDs sit in smoke waiting for a spot (or "flanking") When they are done with it, game is already lost. Sure the players are at fault, but that wont change. But WG could change more balanced DD matchups.

The problem however is (atleast quite often) people come to the forums not presenting their opinion, but make it as a fact. "Ship XYZ sucks, buff it". While 99% of the time, the thing that needs buffing sits infront of the screen aka gitgud. And why is that? Because they lack experience to play the ship properly, which quite often is again their own fault by jumping into hightiers right away. Sometimes, you even see people comment on ships that they dont even own, and its so hilarious what they are saying that you can only point out their lack of knowledge to dismiss it. Im not saying, that you cant have an opinion if you dont own the ship, but most of the time its simply wrong what they are stating. You arent only losing your progression, but almost everything else aswell AFAIK (techtree ships, captains...) OR you could just start a new account. And most accounts you can see certain ships having worse stats, so that should indicate an account that was played from scratch. -
There are others tho, ive seen them Can hardly believe that (1 minute), or you were in such a position that you actually deserved it either way. But if we go by ships killing others in 1 minute (and here we are talking about 3), i guess BBs and probably CVs need to removed aswell. BBs can oneshot Cruisers (but also other BBs/CVs even DDs), and it takes roughly ~10 seconds

TBH, midtiers feel better, because you can turn the game by yourself. And even there it feels, people atleast try to play the game. While on hightiers you either have yolo suiciders dieing before the 5 minute mark (which sometimes even can end the game right there if you have too many of those on one side) or you get the other type of camping in spawn/behind islands, never doing anything even if they would lose. -

Id rather it be harder in general (yes i know, the Zikasas heal more aswell), without a stupid boss which you need to Ram with 3 BBs Basicly, Normal/Hard/SuperHard are pretty much the same, you only need to adapt to Rasputin. Ofc, less-skilled players struggle also with the Zikasas on Superhard because they make mistakes. But for me it would be harder, if you could fail before you reach Rasputin, even in a group with good players, so you would need to adapt to that aswell. (that would obviously include, not making Rasputin heal such rediculous amounts as a balancing factor). What i want to say is: Not make one enemy so silly OP, that only one tactic will work, while 99% of the rest is basicly the same. Just trying to give some feedback here, ofc could have been better the first time, but its not like constructive feedback has had much impact on WGs decisions (unless really a huge amount of players state the same discontent, and even then you guys done see it as a major issue...). Being around long enough = you become upset giving reasonable feedback time and time again without much reaction on your side. (not you personally ofc) -

You write like those people dont have any selfreflection at all (they might not, just saying^^). But id atleast expect anyone, who is doing the same move over and over inevitably getting killed, would at some point ask themselves: am I doing something wrong? If not for any other reason than to actually get to PLAY the game a bit longer, if we are looking at DDs dying within the first 3 mins of the game. -

Wonder if thats something you could report this guy for? Alltho, proving that might be hard, unless they have the logs to show that he left the game and entered a new one Those people need to get banned I agree. If i watchn replays from ~2 years ago which i recorded, i dont see that derp crap we see now. Yes, there were like 1-2 players not playing the game, but now you have half the team or more like that. Which is definetely way worse than only having a couple of those. So it not only seems worse, i can pretty much say: it definetely is worse than before. -
So, we not only have hard mode, we even have Superhardmode this year. First of all, i havent played them yet, didnt have time and not enough people around anyway. We just tried the normal difficulty once to see if anything changed. For me it felt the same. But what ofc did change, we have no CV anymore. Last time with Hard mode, the CV was essential to win the OP (imo). You needed a decent CV, who dished out damage and could heal the fleet AND stun enemies with his ability. Now we dont have a CV, did they make it easier? Atleast normal difficulty looked the same as ever. Can you even do it without a CV? Maybe hardmode, but the Superhard mode? Not sure if they actually thought about it... Would be interesting to hear, when anyone tries the hard/Superhard mode and tells us how it went And question to @Crysantos @MrConway Did they change anything regarding the difficulty? Or is it exactly like it was last year?

I saw the game applied a small patch today. If that was the fix for the game not shutting down, it didnt resolve the .exe problem. Alltho, i had basicly both problems previously. The game didnt close properly (i could tab-out tho and it was gone) and my wows.exe was still running afterwards. I just tried to end the game, and it closed properly, but wows.exe was still running.

I think you wrote it wrong in your first post then, as i understand, you citadelled the Kremlin both in a random battle and in the training room? Can you explain again maybe? - Did you citadel the kremlin in battle? How far were you away - Did you citadel the Kremlin in a training room from the same distance and most important at the same angle?

Why not? DM can also Citadel Yamato, and Yamato/Kremlin have similar armor thickness. Some Cruisers can citadel some BBs - just need enough penetration. But often you need flat broadside to punch through, otherwise the armor might be too thick.
