    If they would be just AFK, they would get punished too... no, they plot autopilot to center, be useless and die Meanwhile, they role the dice again with a new ship to see if its "acceptable" for them to play that game.

    I feel, it would role the dice everytime you open a new bundle. And the best reward has the lowest chance, so it ends up at the end more often. Other thread shows almost 30% of Genova being on the last 3 spots. I collected the T8 Infernal Camo - last slot too. I dont think, that it would be pre-roled that way. But if it rolls every time, and the items have a different chance to drop, then it would make sense that it ends further at the end more often imo.

    I know why they said it, because it actually might be true: Ive observed XP gains, and sometimes wondered, why you get those games occasionally, where everyone has like 1k BaseXP, even if they died in the first 3 minutes, while at other times, they get like 300-500 (assuming wins ofc) and the pattern i found was, that games, that run for 15+ minutes (the longer the better) seemt to give more base XP for no apparent reason. I was quite sure when it happened to me once, i died very early in a Cruiser, basicly having no damage. Yes, i was last, but with >1k base XP. Totaly not worth my contribution. The game almost ran full length. And lately, had a game running 17~18 minutes, and we had 3 guys who just yoloed, they had almost 1k XP aswell. If thats true, then people could exploit this, just by not playing for the first minutes

    Sorry to say, but have to disagree here. That is not what BBs are supposed to do. They push 7!! enemies, why do you think thats supposed to work out? Not only is one of those a Benham (basicly the hardest DD to push) but the other is a Z... You can try pushing against a Z who knows what he is doing, while being ~7km away from half the enemy fleet. He is ~8-10km away from the enemies, while the DDs are barely infront of them (they dont need to, because he is pushing in his BB). So if his DDs were to spot the enemy DDs, they would be ~7km away from several enemy ships. I guess, the DD is supposed to survive this somehow? Benham cant outspot a Benham. Also which is quite funny but i only realized it just now: I guess, the Ibuki torping 2nd row and removing 11k HP of that Benham is also the DDs fautl? Its really getting rediculous now... blame DDs at all cost I guess the Benham could try to spot, if he wouldnt have been torped by his teammate in the first place The problem with CM (or French CAs) is, that they have too many tools available. Tools, that the average player cant use because you know why. The better you are, the more you will profit from those tools. Ships might look rather balanced on average, but they arent really. Most new ships arent... btw offtopic anyway And i for sure didnt only use you as an example why CM is OP, i said that before i compared your stats. I just used them to point out, why you are having so much fun in the CM. Lets try this again: Basicly there is a limit to what you can do with every ship, if played to its maximum. I think, some ships (and here i include many frenchies) exceed that limit COMPARED to same class ships on the same tier. Maybe OP is not the right word, maybe its not french bias, then lets say its broken / imbalanced. Dont really care how you call it. You cant really know, why a BB player on the individual level doesnt want to push. Some might not because CV, or DD, or lowtier, or Cruiser, or HE spam, or BBs, or.... many possible options. Making BBs be able to push REGARDLESS of what they face is horrendously broken. And what @Jethro_Grey did with the Massa was simply overextending, and he deserved to sink (no hard feelings ) If you are using that as an example why BBs cant push, then i think you only want to buff BBs to make them OP CVs were hardcapped to 1 at TX before also... And the problem with this is, that its actually not true. Super Unicum CVs are still doing what they did before, only they are fewer in numbers now, so you dont realize it. At the same time, bad CV players are even worse than they used to be, no wonder you often dont realize it. Again, this is Broken by design. Potential is there, playerbase... yeah again you know what. Saipan... oh yeah, the mess WG created. sure it was annoying, but it didnt happen often. CV numbers were low, so you got it like once every 10 games, unless you kept clicking in while 2 CV mains where playing.

    People have been reporting, that they got punished when their internet connection went down... clearly, WG doesnt care how you leave the battle. @Saltface is on the money imo: The existance of this button legitimizes the action of leaving the battle (even if a form of punishment is applied at some point). But before you know you get punished, the logicial step would be "im allowed to leave the battle because the game gives me the means to do it"

    Actually, this is kinda funny: Just a couple of days ago, i was thinking about BB players constantly whining about "OP HE spam, OP Cruisers, OP DDs, OP CVs" and my conclusion was, if we were to remove/nerf all of those, they would certainly target BBs which dont have a citadel... guess i was right

  8. I dont even own a GC, but i was against it aswell. You see, sometimes you want certain ships so you can play them in a division with other ships or for something like Operations. Operations is sadly not as much of an issue right now, because WG said its not a priority anymore. But at that time, that wasnt clear. F.e. if GC would have been put on T6, they could have moved Kutu to T9. I liked to play Kutu in Cherry Blossom OP. Rebalance: Yes Moving through tiers: No But your point is valid, making Premiums initially OP to boost sales, then nerf afterwards.

    As we can see in this very thread, it doesnt work: - 1 guy quits the game, because he is lowtier. - another guy quits the game, because he plays TX and its a TX only game. Both of those are not working out together (one wants to be toptier vs T8-9 and the other doesnt want to be lowtier against anything) If they need to restart every time, they might consider it atleast, thats why i added in my first post: Restriction to start Random/ranked for 1h

    Yep, nothing more to say. It should get removed or if WG wants to keep it for "emergency reasons": Block Ranked/Random battles for 1h. If its being repeated often, increase the time even more.
  12. If you would swap DE/IFHE, what would you take instead? That mostly answers the question already, CE would ofc be one option instead of IFHE. Is CE necessary on T3... dont think so. For T5 it would be more viable ofc. For the 3-pointer, the options are pretty limited.

Do you really think, the change to Kremlin would impact to get a 1% WR Drop? Also, with this little time, i dont think you can use individual players as a measurement for a drop in WR. If i play 100 battles in Ship A and get 55% WR, its not unreasonable that i could get 54% WR in the next hundred. That would only be 1 loss more than before. Sorry, but im not buying it. The Kremlin "nerf" was WG telling us: Kremlin is fine, here is your "nerf" now be quiet. That not being enough, we get some weird explanation that Kremlin really got nerfed. Its very reasonable to assume, that the average player needs some time to reach another TX ship. Unlike most Good players, who own all TX, sits on millions of FreeXP and get unlock that new line on the first day (kinda). Sure, you also get the occasional "average" player using money to get a new TX ship. But we see drops in avg stats with all new ships/lines after some time. Smolensk is one example aswell. Did Smolensk get nerfed too? Dont think so. More players unlocked it, making the stats drop.

    I guess its down to the inherent flaw of the gamemechanics: - If CLs are strong enough to damage BBs, they are also capable of damaing CAs, so they will almost guaranteed out-DPM the CA (RN line aside because AP only) - If CLs CANT pen BBs with HE f.e. that makes it even worse (imo) as CAs now are your prime target. - At the same time, CAs are equally or more vulnerable to BB AP: Larger citadel, more armor (which is bad) but not enough to bounce BB AP. (gets worse with more BBs being added with >430mm caliber) - And last but not least: CL armor is strong enough to bounce CA AP. How to fix that? You only can change the mechanics. Or you could ofc remove the Citadel of CLs but make the armor so weak that CAs can punish them. But that will BB players make cry even harder, since suddenly they struggle more to punish them (no citadel / more overpens) I didnt mean you with that, but lets say, i got a bit triggered yesterday with all the crap in the forum, and got pushed over the edge here But stopping the IFHE debate was ok, it doesnt belong here (alltho, who cares after 18 pages ) I mean, BBs sniping for the back is clearly a hightier problem, can start at T7 but mostly its T8+. And majority of those BBs can reach 25km or even more, range mod anyone Not to mention Spotter Ofc you could say its "only" 23 or more, but i think thats not the point. Whether shooting constantly from 20km or 25km is really irrelevant, its the same issue, especially if you could move closer. Sometimes we all try those 25km maxrange shots, just because you dont have anything else to shoot. But its not because i choose to sit so far away. Got canned because was crap (totaly agree btw, it would have been horrible) However, limiting BBs to 5 came before DDs were limited to 4. And i think, BB cant go below 5 , because it would end up with BB only games too often. I personaly wouldnt care, if they desperately wanna play BB, let them sit in queue and give them the 12vs12 BB experience. They hate DDs/Cruisers anyway, so let them be alone. No wait, they dont hate Cruisers, they want XP pinatas who dont shoot back

    I rather exit ASAP (which is a problem when portal is 11 mins closed), then to try fight the others. If i can exit in like 5 mins, and have 400 filth stored, thats good enough imo. Ofc if you play 3x division you can start killing others. But killing others with random teammates becomes iffy: They might not collect the filth, or they die themselves.

    How do you get more filth if you kill each other... the one (or team) killing the others will get more (only if they can carry more) while all others who die will get less. And killing each other doesnt magicially give you more filth, if you kill someone with 0 filth, he also wont drop any.

    You could swap Kleber with CVs and you get the same result. CVs are literally OP right now, atleast if played properly. Because the playerbase is what it is, things like reworked CVs dont appear to be that bad. But the potential is still there. And the potential is too much for CVs, and for ships like Kleber aswell. French Bias is ofc not only for Kleber, but i think there is a tendency for strong French ships throughout. - Speedboost on BBs (and quite fast in general, even on midtiers) - MBRB BB AP would be a start, to make it equal to Haru and Khaba Or in other words: The concept is totaly broken

    Happy now? Looking better? Dont think so... Even higher WR in last 2 months data than overall. Daring and Khaba leading the survivability, quite obvious why that is, because they have a heal. Kleber good 3rd spot there, while avg damage and avg kills is above all others. 515 unique players is quite high aswell, atleast compared to others.

    Come again? Slightly angled at 5km is probably enough to shatter on a Mino. Ive had a Shima once shooting AP from 6km at my Mino and didnt get through... Kleber can do it at 10km Also impact angle... Harugumo is even more of a joke

    I dont think most DDs have 8 guns reloading in less than 3 seconds by clicking a consumable Bourgogne literally more OP than Stalingrad.. BUT STALINGRAD OP We should move Bourgogne to russian tree, i think we have instantly Bourgogne OP thread in the forums Also Smolensk OP because it farms BBs. DDs OUTGUNNING CLs? totaly fine Ima out of here... True, thats why ill be leaving this thread now, it became retarded with hyprocrisy. And the reason BBs are sitting somewhere on the back is down to the playerbase, and we cant fix that. You could give them Hydro/Radar/whatnot, they would still shoot from 25km - BECAUSE THEY CAN! Decent BB players would just bend over all other ships in the process. edit: Do you also open water gunboat BBs in your Shima because you can somehow damage them? Point clear now?

    That makes them literally useless, because Cruiser guns outrange DD torps. Cruiser can be useful, while DD is not. Thats why we need to get rid of it, and balance CLs/DDs accordingly. It will never work with IFHE, because CLs will always be better against CAs that way. Sure, you could nerf CL armor so much that they get overmatch by CA AP, which would be a bandaid fix again and solve nothing, only make it worse.

    And where is your point now? Obviously that Mino thing didnt work out either, so... Oh btw, you edited your other post while i was already writing, so i didnt read all that at first. I dont think you have been around pre-IFHE times? CLs were pretty bad (those that existed at that time). Shchors is a good example of that, and its being marked as "meh" till this day, which quite frankly, it is not (imo). They were bad before IFHE, but overtook the CAs once IFHE was introduced. And how couldnt they tbh? You get same HE pen like big caliber guns without the downside of having slow reload (and often even more guns). I agree that i took it a bit over the top, but to make a point: If you make shooting BBs less viable, it will lead to Cruisers focusing other Cruisers more (aswell as those DDs like Harugumo), which probably ends up in Cruisers being played less, and DDs being played more instead. And as i already said: We were already talking about specific ships here (CLs / gunboat DDs), why do i need to say everytime, that im talking about those? Specifically here id like to throw in: Ever tried shooting AP at BBs in a CL? How close do you need to be that it really becomes viable (not to mention, BB needs to show lots of side)? Is it a position you WANT to be in as a CL? Shooting AP in most CLs is extremely situational, especially against BBs. Its more viable against Cruisers tho.
