Thats actually quite interesting, ive been thinking about it. Is it better than having 500m better concealment tho? I think, if you shoot bots in coop without the dispersion debuff, you really get spicy salvos, as compared to randoms, where shells really stray much more. With Mino LM, you would get an extra 5% dispersion debuff... im not sure if its better than the concealment tho. Is it worth a try? I got th LM lately, and i thought it kinda sucks. But maybe it doesnt, even for Radar mino (or should i say: Especially for radar mino ) And how did i miss that thread one year ago? Well, I love Radar mino. Basicly my favourite ship. Played it in Clan Brawl and currently in CBs too. Its so awesome. And it totaly [edited] Smolensk I had a Smolensk in my Radar in CBs, he kept reversing and didnt know where i was, so i just waited till he showed broadside and boom, there he went

Well, id say in general it doesnt matter as much. But i think it helps to hit Bow/aft sections better as you need to be really accurate to hit those. well doesnt matter, if you feel the need to be correct here... all im saying is, if i refer to the orginial crosshairs in game (20 kts Static / 30 kts Dynamic) i cant really write 20kts dynamic, as there is no such thing in game. -

Yes, but the 20kts static crosshair is the basic one, and the WG built-in Dynamic crosshair is not dynamic either. I was referring only to the scales of 20/30kts and what they are called in game, thats why i wrote afterwards " And it changes depending at what range you shoot. The Nomogram Crosshair has both 20kts (standard) and 30kts (Dynamic) scales. And it changes depending at what range you shoot. Im not sure who made a video about it (its on YT) basicly the scale from WG is wrong. If you shoot at short distance, you have to lead more than the crosshair tells you, while on longrange shots, you have to lead less. Only at ~14-16km (i think it was) the crosshair is accurate in terms of shell travel time. -
Personaly, i agree. Its too much nowadays. And i feel, its WG trying to keep people playing the game, which might work for a short period, but in the long run, it will make people quit the game. And the worst thing of all is, that especially daily missions cant be completed in CBs. That should just change. WG admitted, only 5% of the playerbase is actively playing CBs, so certainly its not a big deal to allow Daily missions to be completed in CBs... And for special events like Twilight, i think WG should cut back on other directives/missions. Also i dont really like the current rewards, they are mostly useless to me. Is it "nice" to get hundreds of Camos and Signals, if you already have thousands? Meh... I think, they could change that a little bit. For example the tokens they are giving out: You can gamble on the mainprice, and everything along the way is mostly Credits/FreeXP/CommanderXP/Signals and Camos. And at the same time, you can directly buy Signals/Camos for Tokens aswell. Makes little sense to me.

Thx WG... Literally the best Crosshair ever, and ofc they [edited]it up And ofc its what Dynamic crosshair always should have been Hope it wont take too long till it get fixed. -

Oh yeah, the 12 guns are a real blessing. You dont feel that bad dispersion as much, even tho its still there. After seeing Monty salvos lately, i can definetely see the difference -

Sure, i wont deny that being in a division helps. And i havent really played Solo in ages, i could look at some older vids and maybe i got one with less division impact. Alltho, in the GK game, it was mostly only 1 of my 2 division members helping with the push (basicly what a Cruiser should do: Take advantage of a BB moving up and inflicting as much damage as it can). I guess if you play solo, you should try to look for decent players (knows clans and such) try to work with them. And even tho, most people say, communicating doesnt work, it doesnt hurt to try it. Sometimes it does work, and for sure, flaming your teammates wont make it any better (been there, done that ) In the end id say, if i have to make a move when playing BB, i do it regardless of being in a division. Do those pushes work more often because im in a division? Yes, again, i wont deny that. But if you have to make a move, you gotta go for it. You just need to find the time and place to do it. The problem with stats is, that you have to really dig deep (or know what happened if they are your own f.e.) to see whats going on. His (or mine too) solo stats have nothing to do with our current level of play. They are basicly 2-3 years old. Why should anyone play solo, only to "prove" someone right/wrong? Makes no sense. Ill just laugh at people who bring up my solo stats, if it makes them feel better and stay ignorant - be my guest. Often those players padded their own WR by playing Low-midtiers with OP ships... -

You really have to learn, where and when to push. - Pushing just for pushings sake doesnt work. If you dont have to push, you shouldnt do it, especially if you have superior forces against you. If the situation doesnt make it necessary to push, staying alive is always better. - Pushing if you have to make a play: Yes, you should do those, but it can always fail. But in the end, if you would have lost either way, doesnt hurt to try? - Pushing because you are in superior force, thats basicly the easiest. If you are on the strong flank, then you need to push to a certain degree, get the cap and win the flank basicly. But dont keep pushing into the enemy spawn, thats often useless. -

I know many will disagree with this, tinfoilhat blablubb, but i strongly believe in newbie-bonus there. If you ever pay attention why you get horrendously bad salvos sometimes, its not your bad RNG, its "luck RNG" on the other side. I frequently check those <1k battles <45% WR players afterwards, it almost never fails. I actually STOP shooting those people, they show broadside, i get 1-5k damage. Deal with them later, its like obstacles you cant kill (yet). If i see known clans (players that are good) its easy peasy to damage them, everything works normal like pens deal damage like they should. Does it make sense for WG? Yes, imo it does. It gets you hooked at the game. You feel awesome, like a natural talent. Ive even observed people coming to the forums complaining about something, that often happens around ~1,5k battles. Coincidence? dont think so... Ofc its horrible for the game, as people only learn bad habits from this. Why should you learn something like angling or so? Premium hightier newbs are the worst offenders btw -
Give replay? Maybe you torped previously, and your torps hit a teammate somewhere behind?

Guess i wrote it a bit weird. But yeah, essentially, Midtier BBs have more shotgun style, which is far less devastating for a Cruiser compared to TX BBs. Broadsiding a TX BB has a good chance to severly cripple you, while on midtiers, cruisers are smaller and more nimble. Dodging is easier aswell. Dont take this as statshaming/Bashing, but this is your problem: You play nothing but BBs, so you lack knowledge what DDs and Cruisers can and cant do. If you would learn to play those 2 classes, you would automatically get better playing BBs aswell. And i never said, unreasonable pushes should work. If you go alone into several enemies, you pretty much deserve to die. Or you need to be really good, and enemies need to be really bad, then you can make it work to somehow. Also, i could show you many times where i push in a BB, even against superior forces and it works. Sure, i dont always survive, but i dont see it as necessary to survive in a BB. If the push turns the game, then it was worth it. -

If they disengage, they dont accomplish anything. No ship will stop a BB from going anywhere if he wants to. Lets say, a DD or Cruiser sits in a cap, and a BB is moving in, how can you stop him? DD can torp him, but unless you kill him, he wont stop. By the time your torps have reloaded, the BB is already in the cap. You cant stay in the cap, because you are spotted. BB wins. Even worse if you are a Cruiser, as your detection makes you run way before he enters the Cap. And most Cruisers cant even stealthtorp the BB. BB wins again (most of the time atleast). Something like Hindenburg vs US BB can actually engage the BB and kill it. Another BB can "prevent" a BB from pushing, if he is able to punish him. Or you need more than one ship to stop a BB. Cruisers can push DDs away, better if they have radar. But they are also more squishy and spotted earlier, so if something can shoot the Cruiser, he cant push ever. And DDs dont push anything away. At best, a stealth DD outspotting another can make him retreat, but only if the stealthier DD has backup. Otherwise, he most likely will lose the gun fight, as stealthier DDs often lack gunpower. -

Meh, i dont think, Puerto Rico will be good for CBs. Concealment rather meh, Short range and you kinda have to use all your turrets, or you lose 50% of your gunpower. With the short range, cross-shots become also harder, and with the bad concealment, being on a flank gets kinda iffy, as everything will outspot you. I really dont see it as a must-have for CBs. -
I think its ok for the occasional missions that require planekills....

You arent listed in there, because you dont have 80 battles - and so are many others aswell Thats why it shows you at 25%, and not top 5%. We are missing "some" Montana players in the overall list, because they dont have 80 battles played in it. Played Monty 2 days ago- perfectly fine imo. 69 out of 180 shells hit. -

HE and SAP alpha damage can be repaired to the same amount. Only fires (and floods/ramming, otherwise someone will cry again ~~) can be healed to 100% -

Then you definetely didnt hit the citadel. There is no way, that you will overpen a Wooster Citadel with Prinz Eugen at 7-8km. Either aimed too high, or you got totaly unlucky with RNG. I had it too not long ago with Leander vs Helena. Full broadside, shells "hit the citadel" (should have from where i saw them hit) but i got nothing but overpens. 1 Citadel in between for several salvos. But then again, the game can do what it wants and we can do nothing about it.

However, does it translate into more wins? I dont see that actually. For you, its even below your TX WR, for @Europizza its slightly above. Its even quite normal to farm more damage in games, that eventually end in a loss. While Smolensk lacks carry potential (imo) some other ship, like Wooster, might get less damage but turns the game because of the gimmicks. I think, Wooster is overall much stronger than Smolensk. It has the tools to carry games, which Smolensk is lacking. Smolensk only has damage. Doesnt mean i say, Smolensk is fine. Its broken and bad for the game, but as ive said before, so are other ships too....
