Yes it does, since WG changed MM to match tiers/classes a couple of years ago. Faildivs can only get punished if someone sits in queue for more than 3 minutes (must not be the faildiv itself tho) Also 4 CVs on T8/10 indicates someone sat in queue for too long.

To be more precise: One of those faildivs must have been in queue for more than 3 minutes. Id actually suspect the div of the OP to be at fault, as a TX/X/9 div shouldnt be sitting in queue for 3 mins. Or its one of those CVs ofc... Any of those will cause the MM to screw up things, as at the 3minute mark, we lose the rules which got added to the MM couple of years back. We used to have different tiers/classes all the time back then, but WG changed it, so fail divs got more viable. I think WG realized that, and they seem to park faildivs deliberately in the queue for a few minutes to punish them (thats a guess on my part tho, as i havent faildived in a while so im not sure if its true. BUt ive seen more faildivs getting punished for a couple of months now)

You try to get better MM with fail divisioning = well deserved. Also you got an Alaska for the enemy CM, which is also a tier difference. And MM cant put another division in your team. Your team alrady had 3 Divs, while enemy had 2. You want 4 divs while enemies get 1 div Thats not gonna happen, as the maximum difference in divisions is 1. stop doing fail divs

But i think he is right about it being in an issue with manual secondaries. Ive observed ships which most likely dont use that skill, will fire their secondaries immediately f.e. when you come around an island. While Manual secondaries seem to delay that. Which is interesting, as different secondaries (like germans) still start to shoot at the same time even if they have different loading times ?! Smaller caliber secondaries should shoot first, but after selecting a target, all shoot at the same time, then the 2nd volley is smaller because only the smaller guns shoot.

Do you use any mod (modstation/aslains)? Then you can enable display all ships in port, which includes testships. You can atleast have a look at most features. -

On lower tiers, CE isnt that necessary yet. But if you keep moving that Commander up the tiers, you should take CE anyway instead of more 2pt skills. If you would have a dedicated lowertier captain, you could take FP/BOS instead of CE. I also wouldnt recommend PM on a BB, better take PT. Also i like to take AR instead of EM as first 2pt skill.

you dont find it suspecious, that "suddenly" there are more and more "bugs" in current OPs? Its WG DELIBERATELY [edited]OPs up to STOP us from playing them. There is no doubt in my mind, every patch it gets a little worse. How about proof from today? First one is like wow, wtf is that? 2nd on happened twice in like ~20 games last few days... once it died there ofc. So 3 "bugs" in ~20 games And every game the first wave spawning Bretagne is beaching on the island, then reverses, and dodges the island. Bugs in raptor rescue: Ranger beaching and getting stuck on several islands Aegis: Transports not moving to exit zone Defense of whatever station: Not sure about that one, but our Baltimore went to the harbour, then decided to rush the enemies and die... cant tell if its supposed to happen or "bug" aka intentional KW: Havent found one ... yet So either its intentional, or glorious autopilot rework fucked everything up. I mean, its possible, but i dont think the autopilot can [edited]up the same way every time. Movement must be hard coded for that to happen imo. -

You have any confidence in WG NOT screwing new LMs up? WG seems to be so incompetent, they cant figure out different playstyles for individual ships (thats if there is even a true option). And the best thing would be to put ALL LMs into the same slot - not this garbage we have now, where 5th slot LMs seem to be shafted more often because of the loss of Concealment, while on the 6th slot you just seem to get upgrades. But to the issue at hand with LMs: Might be the easiest way (since LMs are not bound to grinding a specific ship anymore, i can reset any line and and choose any LM i want), to just remove all LMs, and give the appropriate amount of RB points instead. So if i have 10 LMs, i get 100k RB points f.e. (if one LM would cost 10k points). That way, i can choose which LM i want to take, or not take it at all if it doesnt fit my playstyle. -

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Just as a hint: Dont do that if you play coop. If you press the battle on button, you will be put into a RANDOM battle instead!

I took Bourgogne. But id say it depends what you like to play more - BB or DD? If it doesnt matter to you, look which is more unique? For that id say Bourgogne because of the DD speedboost and reloadbooster. Is Somers so different from another DD that it can do something others cant also do?

Dont get the question. You mean if you are dead, should you keep watching or play the next ship? I basicly watch the game till the end every time (also since im playing in divisions so my div mates might still be alive even if im dead). But i would watch it regardless. You can always learn something by watching others play.

Make Fire Duration Scale with Shell Caliber.

Well first of all, fires are never an issue for Cruisers. Its the pure HE alpha which will kill them waaaaay before any fire can do that (doesnt mean you cant die to a fire, but majority of damage comes from HE alpha, or anything else basicly) 2nd, one fire on Zao causes 3672 of damage. Thats 30 seconds of fire. In those 30 seconds, a wooster will throw 7*12 = 84 shells at you. If you cant disengage, he should easily hit 40% (most likely even more) of those, so lets say 35ish. One shell deals 726 damage at maximum. This is up to 25000 !!!! damage compared to the 3672 from that fire. Ok, most likely wont be true because of damage saturation and the occasional shatter on belt/turrets. Even half of that damage is still 3-4 times more than 1 fire. And thats considering you arent showing broadside. If you show broadside, it can just shoot AP for even more damage. And the usefullness of this math is still questionable. A zao which cant disengange from wooster spam is doing something wrong. If you cant fight back that is. If a Wooster hits you longrange so that you burn all the time, you are doing it wrong - or are totaly unlucky which is a one time thing basicly. And to the original proposal. I think thats horrendously bad. Its an EXTREME nerf to all DDs/Cruisers. Lets say, a Conqueror hits a Cruiser with HE, which is like upwards of 10k Alpha right away. And he gets a fire. Fire burns for 120 secs, which would deal 36% damage to that Cruiser, which is another 12-25k depending on which Cruiser we are talking about. Ok so DCP you say? Sure, 5 secs later you might get another HE hit from ANY OTHER ! BB (why should a BB use AP anymore?), and if he gets 2 fires you will burn again for ~50secs till your DCP is ready again. Meanwhile, you would lose 30% HP from those fires. -

But most likely will be faster, how long did your ranked sprint battles last? If you can reliably win, it should be pretty good amount XP/time
