I think PEF is a really strong ship. The dispersion is really nice imo. Yes, the caliber is rather small so it cant punish BBs that easily, but its extremely good against Cruisers.

Ive wrote a topic about that a while ago, and i concluded, that playing for fun is imo not viable. You can have an entire evening of games which are unfun because of bad RNG/bad teammates/losing streak. So why play for fun? If you play for the grind, you actually have a goal, so you can endure having bad streaks in between. If you have good games, better yet, you have fun achieving your goal. This entire game is based on grinding - not having too much fun (or barely fun basicly). And i think you can see this throughout the forum too. People complain after a long grind, that they need a break, and are happy, if WG is not offering something shiny to grind (like right now). Sadly, its hard to realize. F.e. from my own pov: I did grind Benham. Have played 10 games in it. Was that worth it? Not really, especially since the grind became tedious at some point, but once i started, it felt stupid to stop because i were "in to deep". I have like a dozen premium T9/10 ships, and i barely play them... gets you thinking

My money is still on some WG shenaningan fake accs. Too many of those 100 battles played and owns 80 premiums including those coal ships. Or they like to reset their accounts all the time, who knows (you keep those ships right?)

Again: As i wrote earlier, you can whale those ships for a 1/4th of the maximum amount of money you might need to spend now to get them guaranteed. If you dont want to play those ships, buying them now makes it even worse btw. As you cant get the T9/10 ships, then the point of getting them in early access becomes void. Getting them now makes only sense, if you want to play them RIGHT NOW (for whatever reason that might be). And im totaly against people spending money on this. It makes the game worse for all of us, as WG realizes they are getting away with this money milking scheme. Why have reasonable events and clear pricing (pay x = get y) when you can make events that trick you into spending money? Said it once before in another topic: I would be fine, if WG would sell everything. At this point, who cares anymore? But this gambling-events would finaly come to an end...

With the current mechanics in place, thats not really an option. Ofc you could always change those, but i think it would be easier (and better for gameplay) to rather give them SAP ammo instead. Like DDs: BB AP deals only overpen damage to all but 2 DDs. And the bigger problem would be overmatch.

Could start by removing HE from BBs and give them some light version SAP. When you see Yamasushis shoot nothing but HE...

For some weird reason, BB players do not seem to mind that... never fully understood why. Guess if glorious masterrace touches you, its ok Since a Stalingrad touching a BB inappropriately is also a No-No, so it definetely needs to be class dependant.

I know what you are thinking now, but before you get a heart attack, read it first What does the current Soft/Hard cap actually do? With the amount of CVs in the queue, you are ensured to have 4 CVs constantly in the game, and more than occasionally even a 6 CV game. Does that help? no, sometimes there are more CVs in the queue than other classes COMBINED! So what would happen, if we just remove the caps? Then we get games with 20 CVs in it - who cares? Whether there are 4 or 18 surface ships in the game, CVs will ALWAYS attack one of those. But if you remove the limits, CVs can battle it out between themselves for the next 20 minutes. And this wont be much fun for those sealclubbing CV players either. - Either we get rid of those CVs for a short period of time, having SOME games in between with less CVs - Or better yet, people STOP playing T4 CVs all the time. Which would be the ideal situation. - If you wanna be really mean, make a CV only game if numbers exceed 6 CVs per game. This would really be the best solution. Let them battle it out between each other WG should really try that out. If CV numbers dont drop, its a win-win situation.

As i wrote above: Next patch you can get all 4 ships + the permacamos for 15k dubs guaranteed (thats using doubloons to convert XP to FreeXP) Just rediculous.... but early access seems to be the new money making mechanic for WG, and it pays of big time?!

Whether i just unlock them by playing or use freeXP is both free. Btw, using FreeXP from T5-8 should roughly be ~230k. Converting 230k FreeXP with Doubloons is ~9k (at the 1:25 rate). Now you add the 6k dubs for the permacamos and you look at 15k dubs instead of up to 65k!!!

Just out of curiosity a little poll And since we are basicly at the finish line, to see, if people got what they wanted to get. Me personaly, got the snowflakes (ofc) since thats easy. I did grind Gorizia, which i wanted to aswell. Finished the Shipbuilding collection, but had to buy 2 container since i got too many duplicates, and i didnt want to finish the remaining missions which would have gotten me enough duplicates to finish the collection. Got the T6 ships + Camos from the mission From the directives, i would have liked to get more ofc. Some containers in there, Port slots, perma camo, Steel in the last directive... but those were kinda out of reach, and the PR grind was off putting anyway. The grind for the rewards was too much, if you didnt go for the PR, i think that really sucked. edit: added option for "bought Gorizia"

The ships dont have any value at all basicly, as you can get them 4 free next patch. So we are looking at permacamos for T6-8 ships worth 6k dubs + a T5 perma camo which you cant buy otherwise (?) tbh, noone should need perma camos for those tier ships...

I guess it might be useful if you dont have >1,5k mountable camos in stock Then again, how often do you play T5-6-7 ships, unless they are somewhat special? And T5-8 perma camos are kinda bad compared to other camos these days ...

We used to do that with Leander + Graf Spee pre-smoke firing nerf People expect a Leander, and get some nice Graf Spee shells coming their way, spotting provided by the plane

I dont like their slow reload tbh. Also dont like Exeter, since on T5 it feels underwhelmingly bad compared to CLs imo.

Maybe we should ask WG to give us balanced ships, and make special Super OP russian ships for russian server only Every russian player not liking that change can ofc play on EU server.
