    Before you start to flame others, how about read properly and understand what i said before: WOULDNT doesnt mean that it actually is happening right now. HE does damage to forts, despite having worse penetration than SAP. So in order for HE to always deal damage to forts, there must be a special rule in place for it. And this rule doesnt cover SAP. And that still doesnt change the FACT, that you can deal damage to the forts with 203mm AP at basicly any range. But how about you learn something and use the proper ammo, instead to whine because you are dealing a few hundred damage less per salvo than you would like to be dealing. (4700 vs 4800 maxdamage, which is 800 damage difference at best with one salvo). Also you do understand, that many ships (DDs/CLs) dont have 203mm AP shells, so they cant hurt forts above 8km... and DDs cant even do that with their even smaller caliber AP. So HE MUST be able to deal damage to forts, otherwise DDs couldnt hurt them at all (basicly).

    Well, both is possible: I aimed low enough and hit the water. or Stalins shooting you aimed too high and didnt hit the citadel at all. Smolensk Citadel does sit pretty low in the water after all. Either way, i wouldnt risk it against Stalingrad.

    You cant look at PR between ships. PR is based on expected average results. If only good players are playing ships, the average values are too high. You cant get Super unicum PR, if average results are already based on Unicums. Example So Bourgogne PR is only blue, despite having highest Avg damage and best WR (even if its 2 games, it still influences PR more than the lower WR) and still good avg kills. So why is that? Because there arent enough players (especially bad ones) to bring down the average. Only 1 player has Unicum PR with Bourgogne, rest is only Blue. (500+ players in ranking) Musashi has 11 Super unicum PR players. (over 18000 players in ranking) And GK has 84 super unicum PR players (almost 28000 players in ranking) Thats why you cant look at PR between ships.

    Sounds good in theory, but noone will have 75% WR and get 800 base XP on average. Unless you play T2-3 maybe? On the other hand, i do agree thats its actually viable for below average players to yolo speed grind their way through the tiers. They wont earn high amounts of XP regardless how long they survive. If they die before 5 min mark, doing something stupid and getting 500 BaseXP on average, leaving the battle and starting the next one will result in more XP / time than playing properly.

    And yet, Wooster LM is crap and will remain crap even with that stupid buff. Extended radar duration is pretty much useless if you have to give up concealment for it. Any DD sitting in radar range for 40 secs is either dead or cant be touched. 8 more secs wont change either of those. Almost 2km between being spotted and actually being in radar range... yeah no. And you lose the dispersion debuff aswell. Longer DefAA is useless too Longer hydro would be useful, but again, losing concealment is not worth the trade.

    Im not even sure, that the LMs stay the way they are now. I think they mentioned buffing/nerfing some which were bad/too good. On the other hand, the LM doesnt make the DM some kinda super ship, DM is good without the LM too. I wouldnt call it a straight buff, more of a sidegrade. You lose radar duration and main battery reload or range, depending which you would use instead of the LM.

    No, dont broadside a Stalingrad at any range. I devstriked a Smolensk in my Stalingrad at 2km being flat broadside. And just prior to that, citadelled one at 4km (he barely survived so no devstrike) Stalin has only 0.022 sec fuse delay, which is enough to detonate inside even with its railguns.

    Stationary broadside ships are infuriating to hit... thanks to the auto aim correction. Must be a bug or whatever there, if the ship has stopped. You aim waterline = it will fall short. Depends if he had another lock on a ship behind you. Here i used the lockon on the ship at 25km to devstrike a Mino in smoke at 15~km. Monty has no issues arming at 70mm citadel armor either, unlike bigger caliber BBs, which will just overpen if smolensk is full broadside.

    What does "fully angled" mean? BBs can just shoot through your Bow/Stern armor - any BB that is. Lion has short-fuse AP which detonates quite fast after fusing. Nevertheless, he got 2 cits on you. RNG 9km from a Kremlin is probably a deathsentence, unless you are full broadside, which would cause the shells to overpen your citadel (very likely atleast). He just has to hit enough shells through your bow/stern to kill you. RNG Even more RNG than the first one. But couple of citadels already does the trick so, can be bow/stern overmatch, or just straight into citadel if you didnt know the angle you were at.

    - Lowtier map size is 24x24 / 30x30 km, while hightier maps are 42x42 / 48x48km in size. Naturally, it gets harder to close the distance, also because islands are distributed differently. - Lowtier DD torprange often doesnt exceed their spotting range (4-7km torprange vs 5-6km detection, thats with concealment expert). While hightier DDs have torpranges twice or more of their detectibility. - Lowtier DDs have slower torps, they deal less damage and are less numerous (usually) - BBs are getting deadlier at hightiers, they have better dispersion and or more guns - Cruisers get worse detection - Cruisers have MASSIVE size on hightiers, they are bigger than midtier BBs. So hitting them gets easier - Cruisers have larger Citadels on hightiers. - Cruisers get clumsier on hightiers.

    No, we need Hydro and Radar to keep Unicum DD players in check. DDs already have a higher game impact than Cruisers and BBs. If we remove those, you shift it further towards DDs, which is wrong. Ofc WG could do that, but id expect heavy DD nerfs a few months after that to make it balanced again. TBH, does it matter? Only german Hydro actually can detect DDs which wouldnt be spotted otherwise anyway. And then we have DDs sitting in smoke getting rushed by hydro Cruiser and gets spotted... once the Hydro Cruiser shoots, it gets spotted because of the smoke firing penalty. I dont see, why Cruisers need to be punished more tbh. Its not like, they get crap on by everything already, guess DDs need to crap on Cruisers aswell, which are supposed to be their COUNTER btw!

    I could show you a "few" (lets call it many) blind shot kills on smoked up ships, unspotted ships or whatever. DDs in smoke moving around who cares. If id record every of those, which i dont tho, since it takes too much time how about this one? unspotted for 7-8 secs, yeah me big noob And that doesnt matter one bit, because 99% those are simply bad players, who are 100% predictable in their movement.

    Ok so you wanna tell me, pressing a button to make yourself INVISIBLE ! from every ship in the game is skill, while complaining about hydro being no-skill ?! Not to mention: A hydro ship (unless its another DD), is actually being SPOTTED when it shoots at the DD in the smoke, while otherwise the DD would not be spotted. Smoke firing penalty heard of yes? You dont need any skill to move into a position, smoke up and start to shoot your guns from it. Moving into a position, not getting spotted, to hydro a smoked up ship takes much more skill on the other hand...

    DDs are not counter to other DDs... there has been people whining for YEARS about their DDs yoloing within the first 3-4 minutes and its usually GG after that. You need something to spot DDs, especially the good ones. Not to mention, against good DD players hydro is literally useless. Hydro is a death sentence if you get caught in it - nothing wrong with that. You should learn something from that, and not sit in a position where you - are in hydro range when you smoke up - can get rushed down because you dont have any backup Hydro is bad, but DDs sitting in smoke to dakka is fine, ofc

    Nah, we cant get rid of hydro, that would be the next coffin nail for Cruisers... if the planned module comes through (the one for TASM), then BBs can aswell slot that one and spot torps at 1,8km guaranteed. If you then remove hydro, prime target for Torps would be Cruisers, which would suck even more. Not to mention, Cruisers take close to full damage from torps anyway.... Btw, if you smoke up and are already in hydro range, than you fucked up way before that.

    Personaly no. Neither are those ships so interesting to me, that id want to play them, nor do i need a perma camo for that (still got all 3 new years perma camos free, since i lack ships where i would like to put them on...) Alltho, i could understand if someone were to do it for a T7-8 ship, if he feels like playing that ship + having a perma camo for it.

    For me its more of a tier thing than a ship thing. Used to love T7, but ive barely touched that because of the MM change. If i play T7 ships, has been in Narai lately. Funnily enough, T5 got even better than before, but you got constant CV spam down there. But hasnt stopped me from getting excellent games, so its less of an issue than one might think. T8 got better, and it shows. Alltho, i really dislike Richelieu. Bad dispersion + small caliber + railguns = no performance at all. Doesnt hit, and if it does, its an overpen. And paper armor.

    Yup, im clearly profiting from it I just accept that there is NOTHING MM can do to somehow prevent this from happening. How should MM do this? It would need to profile how everyone plays - and they need to play exactly the same way every time. Either they always camp, or they always yolo. MM is not at fault, that people are afraid or too dumb to play properly. Get them out of hightiers - that will solve something. Alltho, not quite sure, because its already lost. People "learned" thats the best way to play for them (aka not die before the 5 minute mark) so chances to change that? Somewhere at around 0 i think...

    The guns arent bad tho. In my ranked sprint battles with it i have >38% Hitrate, and thats with shooting DDs all the time. (in my random battle with it i even got 44%). Bourgogne has also bad guns because of the smallest caliber on TX? Ofc caliber matters, but shooting angled BBs is generally a bad thing unless you can overmatch them - and most of the time thats NOT a thing.

  23. Ah, i looked at the last pic, and it shows hydro active ?! Im glad, that TASM gets removed tho. Its garbage, but idiots can occasionally succeed with it due to stupidity...
