    How about no? Well, the 3rd one does play recently much better than his overall stats, so it doesnt paint an accurate picture. But saying ranked players are more skilled is simply wrong. And the most dangerous player on the enemy team was their Omaha btw.

    I dont think thats the way to go either. But with Goliath, WG is partially moving that way, by giving it 30mm side but 40mm deck. Going 1v1 with the class that is supposed to counter you and basicly forcing him to use HE would make it worse imo. @Bunny_Lover_Kallen made a good point regarding that: Concealment. We have BBs, that can engage/disengange Cruisers because they can OUTSPOT them. Which is rediculous.

    Depends a little when you move up the tiers. And we will get updated modules soon aswell, so that might change some things - Main Armament mod 1 in 1st slot - If you have for the higher tiers Engine boost mod 1 in 2nd slot, otherwise stearing gears mod 1 - Aiming System mod 1 in 3rd slot. Now, soon the Main battery mod 2 gets changed, i think it might be a viable alternative for better turret traverse. - 4th slot either Propulsion or Stearing gear, imo its not that clear cut. If you move full speed all the time, then take Stearing gears. Not sure if we need to talk about Slot 5+6 yet, as you arent that far anyway and they are only available at T8+. Camos is up to you, and so are mostly the signals. Both of them which increase firechance are useful and SierraMike for extra speed. T9+ can also use healing flag. Captain skills: - PT is a good defensive choice, but i prefer EL. Basereload is rather slow, so its good if you can swap ammo fast. And with reload boost, you can swap even faster. - AR / EM - SI, but not before you get MBRB, probably could even skip it till T9 when you get heal. DE for more fires - CE. HIV can take IFHE, but its not a must imo.

    Im not denying that its a problem, but only blaming Thunderer is not right either. Atleast it has thin plating, compared to Kremlin/Yamato and even Ohio to some degree. And they all have a bigger HP pool aswell. So atleast Cruisers have the chance to hurt it aswell, unlike a Kremlin which laughs at HE and fires too.

    Even a bad CV player is 10x worse than a bad Smolensk player. Bad smolensks literally die within 3 minutes. Not to mention, a Good CV player is also worse than a good Smolensk

  7. Player numbers/battles played are really low tho (half of what Venezia has), so i assume, good players moved to Venezia, noobs stick with Henri, who would have 46% in every other Cruiser too.

    I just put IFHE on my Buffalo to test it. Back when IFHE was introduced, we didnt have that many ships with 33-44mm plating (only US BBs techtree + Missouri). But now we have more of them: NC, Massa, Iowa, Missouri, Georgia, Montana, Ohio - all 37/38mm midsection. Vladi 40mm mid Goliath 40mm deck

    Well, Hindenburg doesnt really need anything specific, thanks to being a CA and 2nd that they gave it extra heal as compensation for the nerf. Hindenburg might be tanky, but its main source of damage it receives is not fire damage (thats why the LM is pretty useless aswell). By the time you would profit from anti-fire build, you are long gone by the Alpha from that HE shells, because they will penetrate you everywhere. Unless its a Smolensk or non-IFHE 152 caliber. Im currently running - PT/PM/EL - AR - DE/Vigilance - CE/IFHE IFHE and Vigilance are pretty much own preference and lack of options imo. I dont bother with SI, since 4 heals are enough (you wont get anything from having 5 heals), and while you also lose 1 hydro charge, i dont think its that big of a deal. I run with Hydro mod, so my hydro is active for 144 seconds, after which it has 120 seconds cooldown. If you would use your first hydro 2 mins into the battle, and you would always pop hydro when its off CD, you could use your 4th hydro after 15 mins played (assuming, the battle lasts that long). So technically you can use 4 hydros, but i doubt that its actually necessary. IFHE is good against russian BBs, Yamasushi and Izumo. You could ofc change any of those to take EM or even JOAT if you feel like it. I didnt, because i already had 3 of the 1pt skills, which are all useful to me, so i put the last 3 points into Vigilance.

    Might also be, that you still had protected Matchmaking. I think currently, its up to 75 random battles, but not past T5. (didnt find anything on that, but i think thats how it works). Within that protection, you are either playing against other new players or even bots afaik. Yep, T3-6 French Cruisers are more vulnerable to citadels if angled... Might just say, thats pretty horrible design. Emile being the "worst" of them all, aka it almost never get citadels while broadside. If you are lucky and hit the water then its possible, otherwise i dont think it is.

    There used to be a bug, if you press battle on after a coop game, that you enter random battle queue. Alltho i got told it got fixed, but maybe thats the problem?
  14. That was a lot of luck, or maybe he was nervous. Instead of trying to kill me, he could have angled away from you and survive? But with his last pass from behind he didnt manage to drop in time. Better game was that one tho
  15. No its not. Guns are exactly the same than prenerf. I doubt most people actually used accelerate dodging, and if so, most of them are unicums, who have no problem adapting to that. Yes it was needed I think its better that way, so you can buff/nerf both if needed. Conqueror was superior with 419s, and the 457s dont have anything to do with current Thunderer guns. On the other hand, Conqueror has insane heal, which Thunderer has not. If they would have buffed the Conq 457s to perform like thunderers now, it would have been massivly OP due to the heal. Now its more balanced, but Thunderer certainly is strong. Thunderer definetely is the AP version now, and Conq can be played more with HE. Ohio is not a copy paste version of anything. I think it does deserve one tho

    This is EXACTLY what happened to me aswell!!! Had it on 6 pretty fast aswell but then, nothing anymore. Everything, which could have been a devstrike survived with few hundred or thousand health. At some point, i stopped the mission because i felt jinxed... few games later got my devstrikes back. I mean, its certainly not impossible to rig something like that

    I have decent results with BBs most of the time, but they are so frustrating to play i tend to rage all the time Lyon is imo more on the OP side (atleast when you are toptier) but that thing doesnt hit anything at any range. Only salvation are the 16 shells

    I think so far yes. If you play 1 CB game within the first week you get a free respec. Also you get one after the CB season.

    well actually it does, its working as intended. We used to have stealth firing back in the days (you could shoot further than you were spotted after shooting). If this wouldnt change while using a spotter plane, we still would have ships that could be undetected after they shot.

    Maximum detection range is always maximum shooting range after you shot. If you have 14km range and shoot, you can be detected up to 14km. If you use spotter plane and now have 15,5km shooting range, then its 15,5km.

    IFHE Hindenburg is basicly only there to damage russian BBs. (and FDG has 60mm deck too IIRC?). But i dont think any other skills are useful either, thats why i picked it. Im not 100% what i have skilled now, i think it was - PT/EL/PM (i lose guns and tubes all the time, not sure why) - AR - DE/Vigilance - IFHE/CE Took vigilance over EM, since id have 1 point spare with already 3x1 pt skills used. And i think all of them are nice to have. And having insane torpspotting with vigilance boosted hydro is funny^^
