Ok, sorry, but thats a bunch of BS. Majority of RTS CVs were also so bad, that they couldnt even use manual drop. And even more were too stupid to drop DDs in the first place. And even if they did, you could still dodge it (just dodge actually existed back then). Yes if you found that 1 Super Unicum that could delete you, you had 1 chance to dodge his drop. 3-4 minutes later, he would delete you, granted. But you had time to do something till he gets back, or he might have attacked something else with his next squads. Now? Look at @El2aZeR he can kills several DDs by the 5 minute mark as he has proven time and time again. basicly what you claim happened with RTS CVs. So lets assume it would be the same, how could it have been any worse? And then we even have to consider, AA did something back then. I didnt get to play hightier RTS CVs, because i couldnt be arsed to get my [edited]kicked by Saipan Sealclubbers. But with new CVs, its soooo easy to kill DDs. Its the easiest thing in the world actually, since they literally have no AA. You can easily spank them 3-4 times with one rocket squad. So what chance does a BB or a Cruiser have to kill a DD? any teamplay answer is forbidden btw, as teamplay options also dont count when CVs are concerned. -

That would have the opposite effect pretty much: If i move up (and my team camps behind me), then i get spotted by everyone else directly. Meaning, they all get normal dispersion against me. If id sit in the back, i wouldnt be spotted by everyone, but i wouldnt spot them either. So camping in any form would be even better than it is now, whether by sitting far in the back or hugging an island like your waifu. As an individual, it would be better to not get spotted by several enemies, meaning dont push. -
If you would have played other Cruisers (or bothered looking up the armor from them) you would see, that the "problems" you listed are not exclusive to Goliath. Cruisers penning each other left right and center: Normal? Well, unless you play Stalingrad and Moskva which have thicker plating to actually shatter a lot of HE. BBs citadelling Cruisers through the bow: Once again, thats pretty normal, unless once again, you are Stalingrad/Moskva which have a bit better protection (but by no means its impossible) This one is just marvelous. You think any other ship would survive this? Well, unless you are a BB which can pull it of to some degree. But basicly every Cruiser would die, and most of them even faster as their heal is not as good.

Ive had Salem for quite some time, and only played it rarely (actually, ive played it tons in coop for certain missions ), so i dont really need a DM. And i actually got HIV and Moskva now (because the latter gets removed).

Then you werent as angled as you thought. RN BBs suffer against Yamato/Musashi, its like freecitadel from any angle, but all others will just bounce if the angle is right. Also you gotta consider, the bow of a ship has a different angle than the main belt Just to illustrate roughly what i mean. And from the bow, they can hit the less armored frontal citadel plating. Yamato is well known for that weakspot, mainly ofc because the citadel is shaped in a way, that it provides a flat surface once you get through the bow, but its possible to citadel other ships that way too (just less consistent). Not too long ago, i citadelled a Bismarck with Buffalo through the rear, improved AP angles do help here ofc. -
Might do HIV too , still havent decided yet. Buffalo is pretty close aswell, but i dont really need/want DM so ehh... FreeXPed Yamato just 2 weeks ago aswell, because why not.

No it wont. T8-10 BBs are "immune"* to each other by overmatch except Yamato and Musashi, which can overmatch most others. Ofc that includes T7 BBs not being able to overmatch T8+ BBs, while T7 BBs can get overmatched themselves in return. * technically atleast. On the other hand, ive seen one or the other freak citadel throughout the years. But they arent limited to russian ships. -

They basicly said PR is coming at a later date for some other currency. People buying PR during the event paid for early access and the special camo (WG words - not mine)

Is it confirmation bias, if more than 1 person is saying it tho? Like your DM example, i expect everyone with good knowledge about the game to conclude, if he is playing the ship badly or if he has been unlucky with the teams. Ive had HORRIBLE teams with my GK for the first 20-30 games. Yes, i changed the build, but overall i didnt feel that i was making the wrong moves - my teams just werent made for winning. After that bad streak, it went up and i got results for playing the same way. Probably changing my build made it a a bit easier, but if you have bad teams, no matter what you do, you will lose. Same story but opposite for my NC: Some games i could have scratched my butt because i didnt have to do anything. But its not about a single ship or even a single tier: Im not saying, its definetely that way (nor could i even prove that). But from playing with different skilled players in division, it seems to be like that more often than it should happen. -
Or maybe he thought he died but game ended and it didnt account for him dying.

Nerfing a direct damage increase with a RNG mechanic is always bad imo. Thats the failing point for IFHE from day one. If armor has certain thresholds, which are favourable to reach, then it will always be useful, since its either dealing no damage or full damage. And you have no drawback against ships, that you would overmatch either way. Ive said it before: The only reasonable way to balance IFHE, is to give it a straightup damage nerf. That way, you have to decide: More damage to lightly armored targets (DDs/CLs) and less damage to heavily armored targets (CAs/BBs) or equally low damage to everyone, but more consistent against heavily armored ships.

Since im only playing divisions, it feels, that the better our division is (WR), the worse players are usually on our team. For some reason, 3 people with almost all 64-65% produces the most horrible experience, often we lose several of our teammates first... Then again, ive also been in division with couple of 50%ers, that feels much more enjoyable to me, Hard games yes, but ive had atleast a chance to fight back, before my entire team decides to role over and die. And ive actually had ~50% division mates telling me (while in div with me + another 64%er) that MM is horrible when he is in division with us^^ -
QE has pretty accurate guns Thunderers guns are more accurate tho. And you cant really compare midtier BBs to T8+ BBs. On midtiers, BBs can often pen each other, while T8-10 BBs are almost immune to overmatching each other, except Yamato/Musashi can do it to most of them. Thats wrong btw. 32mm armor is immune to overmatch except against 460mm guns.

Well, QE is better played with AP, and so is Thunderer. Personaly, out of those 3 id get JB as the last option, but i wouldnt call JB stationary really. Sure you can bowtank almost all BBs and your turret setup is an invitation to do it too, but its nowhere near the same as Yamato/Musashi. I guess your choice should be JB or Thunderer. Thunderer isnt stationary + accurate, and should be played with AP (guess you thought it should be played with HE). But the chance to regret not getting Smolensk is higher than not getting JB imo. In terms of Uniqueness, id rate Smolensk first and JB last.

With the current new MM in testing, it should actually get worse imo: They plan to get rid of battles with 3 CVs. They want to have less battles with 2 CVs. But the CVs in queue still have to be put somewhere, so what does that mean? At some point, they will get dumped with few surface ships like your screenshot showed, only it will happen more frequently -
Probably someone in charge at WG must be a real special one, and he wants to be CVs that way. I guess, the extra flak puffs from the AA mod were too much (probably still eating flak), so we had to get rid of it aswell!
