  1. Did you test this / know someone who tested it? Ive been argueing about that aswell, but so far, noone really believes me, because apparently, AP angles arent "that good".I see it as Stalingrad AP without the overmatch, but with pen damage instead of overpen damage. That was only speculation on my part, as i dont have access ofc. Especially a DD caught before a turn might get a serious smack in the face.
  2. While technically, Nevsky is taking the place, Petro is still the CA from those 2. Moskva is also a CA, so Petro is the replacement for Moskva. At this point, its hard to speculate what WG is doing. At best, we get the Nevsky as replacement. I have no hope that we would get both, the CA tree probably stays locked from T8. Maybe we dont even get the Nevsky, since we get to keep Moskva? At this point i wouldnt wonder about that at all. Permacamo? No idea, at best, you get doubloon compensation IMO.
  3. If you have Moskva you gotta keep it ofc. But most likely, you have to regrind Petropavlovsk. Its not sure yet, but MrConway/Crysantos (either, not sure) said something along those lines.
  4. I disagree. Ive done a lot of 4-5 people Narai. Its not easy. But part of it being not easy, its also fun. I have to be aware what im doing, and mistakes might cost you in the end. It needs to be coordinated aswell. Is it too much to ask, that i get a good reward aswell? There is no denying, that grinding is part of this game. We want to have fun, but we are somewhat forced to grind aswell. Unless you only play OPs, then it doesnt matter. Frankly, only playing OPs makes no sense to me. They are too limited right now anyway, and it makes only sense to play them in a division. Random OPs are dead, even more so if i want to have fun playing. Going into random OPs and fail hard, because your teammates are refusing to play the game is everything but fun. So grinding is also a part of Operations, be it freeXP, Commander XP or even ships. Making it less of a grind, will be a coffin nail to the OPs, even if you might have a different view. Others might think "why should i play that?"

    So if i make a division with these people Im not allowed to play at all, since its highly unlikely, that similiar WR players are playing at all or at the same tier we decided to play. What if, 2x65% players join the queue at some point, are they stuck aswell, or can they be matched against each other in between? Or if they have difference classes than my division has chosen? Actually, ill reveal the answer right now: There are only 104 people with >71% WR on EU Server. (maybe someone has hidden stats) - which i doubt tho, so even if its a few more, the number is rediculously low. Not to mention, you want them to be matched by same class. Queue time: Forever.

    Manual secondaries skill for t6 and below

    I read that several times, im still not 100% sure what you wanted to say I think you meant, that i should need awareness, in case a ship enters my secondaries so i have to click on it? Well, i would agree, but this skill needs 4 points to work, i dont think it would be bad, if it would work without setting a priority target. I dont play secondary ships that often, so i sometimes forget to select a target too. Can happen when im brawling, and the target dies so i forget to select another.

    In general yes, on the other hand, i think manual secondaries need a rework in general. Only one side of the secondaries can fire, which is bad imo. The other side should fire without the bonus. And if i dont select a target, the secondaries should fire automatically without the bonus aswell.
  8. I cant say, that it really surprises me... Afterall, ive been thinking/saying it for some time, that WG wants to get rid of OPs. But they wont just remove them, nooo, they make them unattractive first so they can use the arguement "noone is playing them" to remove them once at for all. Apparently, deliberately bugging them didnt work out, so step 2 was nerf rewards to Coop levels (time/Xp) 4 people playing 15 mins to get 1200 base XP... LUL

    Unbalanced map spawns

    Thats a pisspoor excuse for a T9 vs T10 ship. Couple of days ago, our division spawned alone on the C-side on Sea of Fortune. Our entire team lemminged to A cap. And we were faced with the 6 ships above (more or less) - Black and Fletcher got the C-Cap, ofc nothing our DD could do against that. Luckily, they didnt follow us. - Chapa/JB followed us into our spawn - Ashitaka only followed after JB and Chapa were already dead - Yorck ran away to the map border for some reason, after initially attacking us Neither of us died. Luckily, the enemies didnt play that smart, and our team actually went over to help us at some point. Funnily enough, the Fletcher even managed to kill 2 of those with devstrikes... Was it the best game for us? No, but we did what we could, and even stayed alive against stronger forces. I even yolo torprushed the Ashitaka in the end. "Nothing you can do" doesnt exist in this game. And T7 vs T9 is like 10x worse than T9 vs T10

    Its mostly a thing if you wanna learn or not. If you do -> - Make a thread and ask for advice (specific line/ship) - Add replays from those ships so we can have a look at it and give advice. There are many people around here, who will help and give good advice how to improve your gameplay. But thats up to you.

You are just able to hang on at T5-8, but on T9-10, your performance is subpar at best. You have 50k average damage with Republique, but meanwhile, your own ship has >90k HP! 50k is often not even enough for a TX Cruiser. You are ranting about noobs, yet you are part of the problem.     No, that happens with every ship now. The damage is always overpen (= 10% from maxdamage) when the area is saturated. Full pen -> Half pen -> Overpen damage. But thats literally irrelevant. A BB getting tickeled to death by overpen damage through a saturated area is laughable at best. It would probably take minutes.

    Directives have replaced Campaigns basicly. They think its better, that you can do several missions while playing without having to pick certain missions which you can/cant do. WG knows best ofc, what we want doesnt matter...

  20. Sure, just wanted to throw it out as a point to think about. Because i wanted to do it too, but when i thought about, why should i play Visby like ~10x for a permacamo, and then never touch it again, is it worth it? Then i rather play other ships i like to play.
  21. Unless you can get the TX permacamo, i wouldnt even bother. Do you need a permacamo for a T5-6 ship, which you might never play again once you researched it? I got the Visby right away from the directive tokens, but ill probably also get the T6 (T7 requires a lot of luck i think). So why play the T5 in the first place?

    That ship has sailed years ago. 2 options: - They dont care, so no matter how hard you try, they wont learn anything - They already took the easy way, by sitting at maxrange. They are mostly safe, so they can "play" a longer period of time. Games ending early is always their teammates fault. So yeah, this wont change anymore, unless you force them to play more for the team / have to play better in general. Just an example from yesterday, shot a broadside Musashi with my Massa at ~16km: 1overpen, 1 pen, 5 shatters. Why would that guy learn to angle? Nah, he is fine showing full broadside because it works in his favour at that range. Sure, another Musashi could punish him at +20km getting a citadel (if you are lucky enough that is), but still that is not punishing. No doubt, they would be more effective by going closer and angling, but why should they bother? They are convinced, its not their fault that they lose those games, or they get enough rewards by playing like that. - There needs to be more of a difference between winning or losing in some form - Economy needs to be harsher at hightiers - missions should always include winning. That would already solve some problems imo.
  23. i was like 20k into Chapa, then i decided [edited]it, i dont need any FreeXP ship which they will offer in the near future (even less so if they are overpriced, 2~2,5 times the amount of 1 line freeXPing to TX). So i freeXPed Donskoi and Moskva right after it. Ofc i had 1,5 million FreeXP, so not that big of a deal actually. And even more of an issue for me is, that i enjoy other T8-9 ships more than grinding specific ships. Rather enjoy some ships, and freeXP the rest.
