    A Cruiser sitting behind an island doesnt necessarily provide much firepower, especially when its camping behind an island the entire time. You dont win or lose a game because of a cap within a few minutes. But dying for no reason, especially in a DD, is increasing the odds against your team. I really dislike this mentality from DDs "I HAVE TO GET THE CAP RIGHT NOW" no, you dont. If the team composition allows it, sure you probably can get the cap. If it doesnt, then try something else. Go spot for your team, so they have superior firepower over the enemies.

  6. They are all fairly strong. DM/Moskva/Hindenburg all have pros and cons, but in general, TX Cruisers can all hold their own. Also, not getting the Moskva now wont be the end of it. If you really want it, you roughly have 4 weeks from now till it gets replaced/moved into the Armory so you could focus your grind on the Budyonny, get as far as you can and spent FreeXP on the rest. With 400k FreeXP you can skip T8+9 i think. Overall, the Moskva replacement is most likely stronger than the Moskva was so... even if you dont get the Moskva, but eventually get the Petropavlovsk, you still have something to enjoy. And moskva gameplay is not necessarily to everyones taste in the first place.

    He will just claim how he rushes DDs down and kill them. I mean sure, if the DD doesnt have more brainbower than the average potato, that might work. But then again, he claims bad DD players die to radar, so it doesnt make much sense Luckily, i decided to end this nonsense going back and forth

    Because its not true? All of them R1, while most of us dont care about playing ranked in the first place. R1 or no/low ranks doesnt tell you anything about skill.
  11. Most BBs actually cant achieve that amount. Standard 0,5% HP / sec heal, buffed with India Delta would result in 16,8% HP per heal, 5 charges = 84% 0,66% BB heal (US BBs) could do it, with India Delta they could heal ~110% with 5 charges.

    I think its a problem, when one ship is so versatile that its the go to pick for CBs. Henri was just that. You could say, the more Henris you took, the better it was. Like Kievs in T8 CB Season. To me, its boring and stale. Now that we get CVs, i think it might bring more variety into it. Goliath, Hindenburg, Henri, Venezia might be all equally viable if you choose to go with that sort of Cruiser. Zao is the one being left behind, as its concealment and flanking ability is nullified by the CV. I guess ill play Henri in Randoms, but probably not in CBs this season. and i stand by my analysis, that people were spoiled with how henri handled prior to the nerf. I can understand, that it feels maybe even much worse than before. But i also say, i cant see anything wrong with it.

    Yeah, and i tried some stuff with acceleration in that game see how it works. And i couldnt find anything wrong with it. Also, if a couple of ships can punish you, then its not overnerfed by any means. I dont think "different" is the right word. It was outright better than the others. Because it got a reloadbooster in return... I dont think, IFHE henri was a viable build for randoms even prior to the rework. Its abysmal. It literally has no penetration. Sure you get 10k volleys on most broadside ships, but others can just get citadels, dealing more damage. And once the target starts angling, your damage output drops heavily. So if you get a broadside BB, Hindi DPM is probably superior to others, because it has good reload, 12 guns and high damage AP. But once they start to angle, you have to rely on subpar HE aswell. That highpen meme went kinda out the window imo, as Hindis firechance is so fucked up its a meme on its own. I rest my case Sure i could deal more damage directly, as it was on Yamas and a Moskva, but still.... Meanwhile, with Henri i got 6 fires on 61 HE hits, just the game after.

    Ive only started to play Henri now after the nerf, and i cant understand what all the fuzz is about... I think, people were spoiled with how it worked prior to the nerf. I had no problem with the acceleration/deceleration, and the firepower is outstanding compared to other TX CAs. Finaly AP that does something, unlike Hindenburg So for me it feels like, the nerf was the most reasonable they could come up with. Imagine they would have nerfed the DPM by like 15%^^

    uhm.. you do know he basicly has WG on his side, since thats how they programmed it? So he (or we) are right. This doesnt happen by accident. The rules of the MM are clearly stated, you make a fail division, you can get punished for it. End of story.

    Id rather have we go in the opposite direction to NOT lose turrets/tubes/AA/secondary permanently. Its [edited]. That reminds me of the Smolensk in CBs who tried to bowtank my Minotaur... well, i blasted both his frontturrets to pieces so he could decide to keep bowtanking me and doing nothing or show broadside Also i think its utterly unfair that - BBs lose turrets way less often than DDs/Cruisers lose guns/tubes - BBs detonate far less often than Cruisers, who detonate less often than DDs, and CVs cant detonate at all. Thats where we should start.

    100% agree, alltho not limited to starting x amount of fires in one game. There are a lot of missions, which make gameplay even worse than it already is. Not with that... special... playerbase around

    Because everyone taking a same tier ship is too much to ask? And not getting thrown under the bus? Its pretty obvious, you want to get into T7-9 or even T6-8 MM with your little "trick" Well, your trick aint working, so either accept that, or change your behaviour, its your call. Also your 3rd screenshot is T8 vs T9/10 which is perfectly possible. your first 2 screenshots only worked like that, because one of you took Öland while the others took T7 ships. Either take T7 OR T8 ships next time, problem solved.

    How to improve your game?

    Watched the KGV game quickly: - Try to get Concealment Expert for your captain asap. Its a really squishy ship these days, and it really helps a lot there. - If you use mainly HE you have to keep track which ships use DCP, so you can get those permafires. General rule is, if you get 2 fires on a ship, he probably will use DCP, alltho a lot of people also extinguish one fire. There you got 2 fires on the QE, but you start shooting the Bayern. Better keep shooting the QE when something like that happens. He did use DCP right away. I didnt like that you follow the Bayern in the Corner here. There is nothing for you to get. If you look at the minimap, most Enemies are in the center. I would have turned towards the center going to F3/4 behind the island. Every ship going through the middle, you would have gotten flat broadside. Or you stop them from going there. Next screenshot, you see all the enemies going to your cap, you could have gotten them easily took that pic because after you kept shooting the bayern, suddenly you switched again to the Hood. Not worth it. You have to get rid of targets first, especially when you shoot HE, itll take time. But the problem in general here was, that you were shooting HE, and you had no Cruisers with you, that were also shooting HE. Edinburgh only has AP, and Zara has SAP and AP. So you cant stack fires. If a ship is broadside, you can use AP, even at longer ranges. The amount of time and luck needed to kill a BB with a BB shooting HE by yourself is huge. In general, you should shoot Cruisers over BBs first. Thats the wrong way to play a KGV. You dont want to close the distance against most BBs, and here you have 2 which can overmatch your armor, while you got HE at best to deal with them. Also, you take yourself out of the game for no reason. The enemies wipe the floor with your team in the time being. Also here you can see your asashio being in trouble against a Fiji (not gonna defend him, but the Fiji is busy, so you wanna intervene). Load AP, turn your towards and help him. You shoot HE at him, that will not stop a Fiji. RN BB AP is devastating against Cruisers, you might have gotten his broadside with nice citadels. In general, its good that you use premium DCP/Heal, but next patch they get removed. Still thumbsup for that. And you still need to practice your aim, often you dont take enough lead, like against the Bayern you whiff a couple of salvos.
  23. Even tho we all cry constantly about how abysmal that playerbase is, but Cruisers raping BBs at will (even if it is somewhat possible) is not something we can expect from the average player. And neither should we, because that would basicly mean, Cruisers are OP. BBs are supposed to be the counter to Cruisers afterall.
  24. I think you are stuck in 2017 WoWs, when we didnt have the amount of very large caliber BBs we have now. Here the 10 BBs from one of my recent matches - Yamato, Kremlin, 2x Georgia, Alsace - Ohio, GK, Georgia, Izumo, JB 6 out of 10 have a caliber, which will overmatch all 30mm armor plating from Cruisers. 2 more of those will overmatch all Cruiser bow armor, and the midsection of all T8-9 Cruisers. Only 2 of those struggle with US/KM CAs with their 27mm bow. How does that work out, with 5 BBs per team and 2-3 DDs? Which on average leaves us with 4-5 Cruisers. BBs outnumber Cruisers often. If you need several Cruisers to kill 1 BB, you will leave other parts of the map without Cruisers... which you didnt want in the first place, since BBs cant push when they dont have a Cruiser ahead of them. Its way too complicated for the average player. And you simply cant tank against multiple BBs, when all your other ships camp in the back. You are the closest target, everyone shoots you. Proper gameplay is already lost thanks to WG and the playerbase.
