    German CA, the Line WG forgot existed.

    But they reversed the Hindenburg nerf, it has now 0,2 sec better reload than before, AND an extra heal ontop of that. German CAs have always been jack of all trades. They arent best in anything, but good in everything. Alltho i agree, id rather have better AP pen than the high HE pen with low alpha.

    Minotaur / Captain Skills. (RL)

    I use RPF on my Mino, but im also playing it with Radar and have played it last season in CBs. If you play Mino with Smoke, i wouldnt say its necessary, but then again, what else to take? That i have been running with the Radar build. I guess the only viable options are Vigilance and SSE if you play with smoke, as it helps against the torpedo threat. Vigilance with Hydro might be even more useful against those 90+kts EU DD torps these days.

    That was from the Clan Brawl 5x5 couple of weeks ago. But i just wanted to show: Low rank players can beat R1 players, because rank doesnt tell you necessarily anything about the skill level. Because a lot of players constantly cry about ranked imbalance between teams. - Not everyone plays ranked (like most in our clan) - atleast not till R1 - Not every R1 player is automatically a Super Unicum. Alltho in this case, they were actually really good players.

    Maybe because it is? IJN BBs have poor shortrange dispersion, they are literally the worst from all. They only win at Mid-longrange compared to others.
  5. Only works till a certain threshold. In Yamatos case that would be 32mm. Smolensk has 70mm citadel armor, you shoot that at 45° angle or less, you gonna bounce (chance or guaranteed).

    Today was kinda weird... We were in relegation to Storm, and first we got Typhoon clan. The entire evening was filled with potential (aka not yet there) hurricane/Typhoon clans. I mean, its 2nd week now, but we didnt play that much. I expected them to be further ahead already?!
  7. Ive seen DDs take 3 Torps into Bow/stern without sinking. And thats even possible these days, despite damage saturation being reworked. A few years back, you literally could take infinte torps into a saturated area without dying. Fire resistance is ~50% on TX, except CVs https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Fire#Fire_Resistance A lower firechance is most of the time the result of shooting sections that are already burning. (or you are really unlucky/ lucky) I kinda doubt that you got 14 fires in one game. You must have been one lucky to be still floating, getting multiple fires all the time with DCP ready.

    Yep i agree. I really dont need any new ships right now, i already have too many which i dont play. Or actually cant play even if id want to. F.e. back when Missouri was the first FreeXP ship, it was really something special, which i enjoyed a lot. Played more than 220 games with it. Now i have tons of FreeXP/Coal/Steel ships which i barely play.

    The problem is, unless you are basicly torping into the enemy spawn, you might be hitting friendlies on your other flank. And you can never know, what else they might have to angle against or dodge at the same time. Taking a friendly torp is less damaging that taking enemy torps or a citadel because you are dodging 20km shima torps. Lets take this as an example You are on the left flank, torping the enemies in the center. Meanwhile, your teammates on the right flank push through and you hit them. Its still your fault. People might be smart about torping enemies into their broadsides, but on certain maps, you might actually torp your friendlies on the other flank due to that.

    Basic example - A ship is not shooting. his detection range is 14km. None of your teammates is within 14km, so noone sees him. - That ship is shooting. Now his detection is 24km. There are several teammates of you spotting him. - He stays detected for 20 sec, when his detection reverts to 14km. Unless one of your teammates is now within 14km, he is not detected anymore. But then there are planes, radar, going behind islands... everything effects spotting.

    Once again, you totaly disregard what they say, and what you even quoted and agreed with. Calling good players pathetic is not feedback! Its statshaming. They are allowed to give feedback, but everyone using this forum is ALLOWED to disagree with them, and tell them why they are wrong. Aslong as neither side insults the other, everything is fine.

    Thats because they barge in here like a rhino on steroids, wanting to change the game purely to their own wishes. They dont want to learn any mechanics whatsoever, but rather take the "easy way out" (which doesnt work anyway, but lets assume it). People, who are willing to learn and ask for advice receive the help they need from MANY people. The difference is, how they act first coming in here. If you go somewhere, acting like a jerk, you shouldnt wonder if others dont treat you nicely in return.

    24 Unicums in the queue: 8 have 60% WR 5 have 61% WR 4 have 62% WR 1 has 63% WR 4 have 65% WR 2 have 67% WR 12 of them win / 12 lose, naturally Let them face 100 games against each other. To make it easy, all of them had exactly 1000 games played prior to this MM change. You can choose to distribute them however you like, and calculate the new WR for them. And whether you want PR or WR, the outcome is the same. Lets make an easy example once more. In a TX game, we have 5 BBs, 4 Cruisers and 3 DDs. 3 DDs have roughly 60k HP. 4 Cruisers is a bit harder to calculate, since they vary quite a lot, but with a couple of heals, a Cruiser should have 60-65k~ HP imo. BBs are fairly even with HP, i think a good amount is ~150k. So, that gets us 1 million HP per game. Ill try to use my own numbers as much as i can. Thats not too far away from my overall PR. 120k Damage, almost 1,5 avg kills and more than 50% WR. If i face only Super Unicums, id automatically get 50% WR, that lowers my PR. How can i maintain 120k Avg damage? A BB needs the same amount of damage or even more, to maintain that PR. A DD needs less. 9 people scoring >100k avg damage, would have depleted the maximum of 1 million damage already, leaving nothing for the 3 other ships. And not everyone can maintain 1,5 avg kills either. So my PR Drops simple because, there are no other players who have 50k damage and 0,5 avg kills with 45% WR. The opposite most likely is happening to the bottom potatoes too, unless they all hide in spawn and continue to deal no damage/kill anything. They can maintain a bad PR to some degree, however, a win without damage/kills is already worth ~600-700 PR.

    You want that - The worse i play, the better my teammates become - Vice versa, the better i play, the worse teammates i get. Why would i want to improve, since i would start losing more often. How would bad players improve, when they get carried by good players time and time again, so they dont actually have time to learn. They would eventually get worse teammates, but since they havent learned anything because they never had a chance, would fall back to having a bad WR. You want to artificially improve bad players by giving them a better WR, and give good players a lower WR by matching them with potatoes to carry 24/7.

    You assume that there are enough of those around to split them between teams. Id say many games consist of a 3x Unicum division, and the rest of the players are between 40-55%, while majority is still <50%. Thats what i see most of the time, if i can be arsed to look up the players from the game. Ive had games, where 9 of my team all had <50% WR and then our 3man div. Sure, ive seen games with like 12+ Unicums in it, but they are extremely rare.

    While i agree with matches being totaly unfun when they end in 5-8 minutes because 1 team facerolls the other, the problem is, that ships/classes are not entire balanced right now. Imagine being in the good player group, and every time you get CVs, they are played by @El2aZeR or close to that. Those games would probably be horrible. Also id say, you will be put under pressure even more, playing strong/borderline OP ships to compete with the rest. Stalingrad in current CB season anyone?

    Because its impossible to go below/above a certain threshold? Even if you would be AFK in every game, you wouldnt lose every game, simply because you are only 1 in 12. Fair? Probably not, ive said myself multiple times, those people deserve 0% WR, but thats impossible. Then play 3x division and get 80% WR. I wouldnt call it fair, if a single person or even a division of 3 could reach 100% WR.

    You do understand that this is literally impossible to work atleast in the longer run? Everyone would be drawn to 50% at some point.

    Unless those bad players dont do anything, and camp the entire 20 mins in the back, not dealing damage, their rating would automatically rise.... But meanwhile, good players would definetely lose rating, as everyone in one game is good, and there is only a limited amount of damage/kills to farm. If you need a certain amount of damage for Unicum rating, its literally impossible for everyone to get that amount of damage to keep their rating high.

    Because its hard to prove, and many people dont even look where they shells land? And without good proof, we have people (like you now) telling them that its not an issue and they are either blind or cant aim (btw not saying that you claimed that - but i bet someone would) If someone has bad aim in the first place, he probably wont even notice since he wouldnt hit regardless of what happened
