GZ! Played 3 games today, mostly to get one SC from twitch mission (which btw was totaly worth it with 7 days premium ) and once more in ranked sprint, which is totaly normal at this point, my team can nothing but die faster and harder. The last game with Yamato, we had a Harugumo detonate at 1:15, 1 min later our Hindenburg died and not even 2 minutes after that our FDG died. They were all perfectly showing broadside in the center of the map, while enemies play perfectly, some bow in some go to the flank And afterwards i get blamed for the loss because i was 2nd last alive Not that the other loss was any better, when a Mino gets rushed by 2 DDs and cant kill either -
You do know there is a limited amount of HP within a battle? How would that be possible, when there are often 5 BBs out of 12 ships per game? (sometimes less, extremely rarely more). Even with heals added, you cant expect every ship to take full advantage of their heals, especially cruisers often will get much less out of it than they normaly could, because they take citadels or get outright deleted. And most of the BB players probably wont even take full use of their heals, id say 1 citadel already is enough to make it close to impossible, unless you only get fire damage, which doesnt really happen either. I just had a Massa game where i tanked the absolute maximum from 5 heals + Healflag. Not to mention, not every ship dies in a battle, and 1 team often has many survivors. But if lets say we have a battle with 5 BBs, 4 Cruisers and 3 DDs on TX. Average BB HP is like 90k ish, Cruisers maybe 50-55k and DDs ~20k each. That together gets us somewhere between 700-750k, ofc could be even more or less, depending on ships, as it varies quite a lot, like Bourgogne vs Kremlin or Smolensk vs Stalingrad. With heals, you might be getting 900k-1million at absolute maximum, which i think is far more than an average game will yield. 1 million / 12 = 83k per ship. Basicly impossible for BBs to get their HP in damage. As we already established, DDs get 2-3x their HP in damage per game, while Cruisers are at 1,5-2x . And when we put CVs in there aswell, it gets even worse, as they take more than their own HP in damage, while often surviving unharmed (atleast 1 of the 2, or even more accurate: out of 4 CVs, 1 dies)

If a BB could just push in at the beginning of the game, tank half the enemy team and not die, what would be the point? Then you get 10 BBs hammering it out in the caps or what? Also, BBs simply are the best tanks in the game. Sure, experienced cruiser players can also tank a few million potential by good dodging (or stupid BBs pounding a Moskva/Stalingrad without achieving anything), but BBs still need to take their share of it. They have the most HP, they always have a heal, they have the best armor protection.

Sorry, but thats BS. As most DDs dont have a heal, every bit of damage helps. Ive seen DDs with <300 health literally rape entire teams, because most likely a BB was too "proud" to shoot that pesky thing. Also, if one of the DDs get backup from their BBs, guess which sides DD dies first? I think i watched Flamu a couple of days ago, when he gunned down a BB with his Orkan. And the BB never shot him!

Sadly, there is no guarantee that players eventually become good by playing more. There are absolutely horrible players with more than 10k games. And on the other end, you have superunicum reroll acounts with 1000 battles, so you cant really escape good or bad players with that proposal. The best you can do is, dont focus on MM, but focus on your own improvement instead. -

Because you complain, that those mechanics are broken, so those ships should overperform or would be easy to play. Yet, your own skill shows, that those ships are neither easy to play or perform overly well for you. Why would you want to nerf those ships even further? Cruisers and DDs are the worst classes for you by winrate and average damage, but you basicly want to make it harder for most of those ships in those classes. And often the problem with being bad in this game is lack of game knowledge. So even if we try to tell you why you are wrong, you might simply not understand why it would be a bad thing, as you dont know the mechanics. But if you want it: 1. - That would make ships carrying smoke essentially useless, as they are mostly balanced around using those smokes. Also thanks to WG, using smokes for your teammates is mostly useless, as they cant stay undetected within those while firing their guns. In order to keep the balance, you would need to buff those ships in other deparetements. 2. Radar not going through island/being detected with radar is bad for both Cruisers and DDs. First, Cruisers cant handle being constantly spotted, as they just die. A Cruiser using radar is often much closer to the enemies than other Cruisers and BBs, because they have more range on their guns and they dont need to be closer, which makes you the prime target once spotted. As for DDs, a DD sitting behind an islands while radared is often save from being shot at. He can just wait the radar out behind the island. If you make Radar LoS, the DD will leave the island cover, as he doesnt know that radar is active in the first place. He will have no cover while being spotted for the entire enemy team. Or even worse, a Cruiser would never use radar in the first place unless he is spotted. Baiting radar becomes almost impossible. 3. While EU DD torps are extremely fast, they also dont deal much damage to BBs. Its something like 4-8k i think depending on the tier. While i agree, its stupid, its not only the speed which makes them stupid. They are hard to dodge for DDs and Cruisers aswell, and they will get hit harder from those torps (more so, because they often dont carry a heal unlike BBs, which always have it). So while a BB might take more torps because of the speed, it wont have a huge impact on him because they deal so little damage. For me, its a failed concept, as DDs are supposed to kill BBs, and those torps dont kill BBs at all. -

And neither of those can spot a DD like Moskva... well unless you play Radar mino ofc. Radar Mino is probably the worst enemy of a DD. Venezia concealment is what, 12,xkm? How you wanna spot a DD with 6km concealment, when he sees you 6km in advance? Every possibility is down to a misplay of the DD. Venezia is only scary, when he has someone else spot the DD for him. Without radar, that would be a DD almost all the time. And 1 DD dying as a result. Then one side has a DD, the other has not and that DD can do whatever he feels like. -
You can even detonate other ships without hitting them

You might not be able to carry that game yourself, but there might be a division on your side who actually can. Instead of helping them, you rather make it impossible for them by gifting the enemies even more points... Believe me, i know that has happened, and ive seen both tight wins and losses as the outcome. A tight loss because one more ship suicided could have been a victory instead -

BB hitrate in game is nowhere near to how it was IRL Magicially clicking a button doesnt stop a flood/fire, give your ship more "hitpoints" (kek), make your ship go faster... you get the drift As to the last part Radar doesnt hurt your ship - shells and torpedoes do. Please look at your own stats, in particular Smolensk, Friesland, Salem, Alaska, Buffalo and Chapa. Somehow, their apparent OPness that you claim, doesnt seem to exist now does it? -
People look at damage numbers and think, higher is better. HE often produces higher damage numbers, because you get to farm the opponents for a longer period of time. But a half-health ship has exactly the same firepower than one with full health, or coule be even more with AR active. Only a dead ship has no firepower any longer. HE doesnt remove enemies fast from the game (well, unless they are DDs), AP does. Like, you get a fire on a BB, thats like 15k damage or so for you, but in reality, its 0% effecive as that guy can pop a heal and he lost no health at all to that fire. The only exception is, when basicly everyone is firing HE at the same target, and they manage to kill that ship before it escapes and gets to use more than one heal. If you shoot HE in thunderer all the time, you might be better off playing a Conqueror, as its the superior HE spammer.

I think its hard to say at this time, who has desync and who hasnt, or how often it occurs. Last game yesterday evening was quite horrible for me. I see shells hit a NC bow (was playing Yamato) and i get 3 ricochets. So actually i hit the midsection. Later on i hit 2 BBs infront of their bows to actually damage them, because hitting them "properly" only resulted in overpens/shatter/bounces. If you get too many overpens, try to aim lower.

Getting only overpens is either desync or not hitting the thick belt armor. Hightier BBs have rather thin plating at the upper belt, that might cause overpens if you hit them there.

Oh you sweet summer child, you think WG removed Narai to fix the Bot autopilot? They only nerfed XP gain, because too many people were farming, and they planned to enable all signals to be mountes on ships. You could basicly farm 50+k FreeXP with one Narai game guaranteed with the old XP values. They just had to stop it, and used the "bugfix" as an excuse to do it. They never intended to fix anything

Fiji has always been the best ship for me there. For BBs, Lyon and Sinop are the 2 best. But many ships are good too: Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Boise, Shchors, Helena, even had good games with Maass and Vauquelin.

Pretty much nothing anymore. CB on sunday was absolutely frustrating thanks to Desync (mind you, CBs is literally the only thing which keeps me playing). Played yesterday evening still horrible desync, so i expect the same today in CBs. Then i literally will walk away from it, as every part i enjoyed is gone. And thats not even including the absolute boring CB season we have now, where atleast half the teams play stern towards enemies and run away till the last corner. The problem was, i felt for WGs trap once again earlier this month: Had fun playing Clanbrawls! Makes you forget how bad the rest is, until you keep coming bad and its worse than ever. But this time its gonna happen, as i dont see a reason to bring my team down in CBs because its unplayable with the Desync. You can hit idiots straightlining by leading more, but hf when you have to predict a dodge WITH DESYNC in effect -

Had this game not too long ago. We were heavily outnumbered, and the enemies pushed hard from A into B on Trap with like 6 ships. They had Neptune, Amalfi, Musashi, Massa, Akizuki and Harugumo moving in. While most of our team was already dead by the time. I was basicly sure it was lost, as we only had us 3 and i believe one more ship at that time. But the Amalfi died to torps, Musashi beached and died to torps, i killed the Neptune and then it was 3v3. Their Massa made a crucial mistake, by running away from me, which opened up the way to support my DDs back into B and we finished them, while the Massa was sitting behind the islands. Basicly with the finished seconds, i managed to kill him too. Overall this game had a roflstomp feeling to it. 6 enemy ships down south in A, we lost our DD there, our Lenin died unluckily early to the Roma, Amagi suicided into A aswell. On C, we had the majority of our team against Bismarck/Wooster/DD, and too many even died up there. our DM got trapped in B aswell. Cant recall what our Massa did, but he must have been at C, dying uselessly. -
Basicly you can play anything. Imo every ship is viable, but ships i would rather not pick: - GK and Monty, they are at a huge caliber disadvantage since all the heavy Cruisers got buffed to 30mm midsection. Bourgogne doesnt suffer at all thanks to its speed, reload booster and i think it can get away better with shooting HE, since it has 66% firepower in the front compared to the other 2. But this is mostly a "why should i pick those over Bourgogne, Thunderer, Yamato or Kremlin?" - T7 CLs, because why get shafted with T8-9 MM? (partially you might say, T6 aswell since they can see T8). - In general, T7 is in a bad spot since the MM changes. DDs have a hard time due to lack of concealment, and BBs lack overmatch/get overmatched in return. The T7 problem is bigger in general, and id stay away from it, while playing Monty/GK is fine, unless you have better options.

Since i dont have the players names, there is no way to tell who has played a lot of games and who hasnt. Do you want to have that guy on your team, only because he has 42k random battles played? He is incompetent as it can be, never learned anything (or is a bot even). Someone with 1,5k battles atleast has the chance to come out of that 46% WR slump. That guy is bad and will stay bad for eternity. -
Agreed. But in return, we have to lower BB accuracy by up to 90% so its historically accurate. Afterall, they only had a hitrate of like 3%ish. While 30% is not uncommon in wows. And while we are at it, lets remove torpedo reload on DDs. Also, we need to buff CVs further so all other ships become more or less obsolete, but definetely those BBs. Also nerf BB AA because CVs need to strike them even harder. Thats not really wrong so to say. Scharnhorst as the original armament, while Gneisenau got the planned refit.
