Atlanta can easily be spotted, because its detection is worse than his radar range. If the Atlanta sits behind an island, it cant magically know when it needs to radar. Belfast can be spotted aswell, alltho its a bit trickier. But there is a 400m window to do it. A spotted Belfast either needs to run or smoke up. When he is smoked up, he has no indication when he needs to pop radar. And BBs can shoot into smoke aswell.

TBH, that doesnt make much sense. Even most Cruisers cant spot a DD, so they cant kill it either. Same for BBs. If the DD would be spotted, the BB would wipe the floor with it. So you cant really compare ships like that, because you forget about spotting, and that wows isnt a 1v1. Ofc poor BBs, let a Cruiser get to 3km (which he atleast spots 6+km earlier)... If you are so smart that you could pull that off all the time, you wouldnt actually complain the way you do. maybe you should play more?

Torps are the best way to get rid of a bowtanking soviet BB... either from a DD, or Gneisenau/Scharnhorst can just rush it. But people tend to play into the strength of those ships, by also parking bow in... which they will most likely lose.

Give it a couple of months, WG will use this to make the economy harsher. Imo thats the reason for this all along. They accnowledged, hightier economy is too forgiving but dont want to nerf it, because players might get upset and leave. Now they created something, which made it easier for the playerbase, thus they can now nerf the income using this as an arguement to why they are doing it.

Could be an internal ricochet at the thicker plating in the aftsection which Yamato doesnt overmatch, and shell continues into the Citadel? The Shell wouldnt arm on that 25mm plating anyway, so it had enough time to continue and detonate somewhere else. Or shells didnt hit you where you saw them - could also be a possibility with desync, who knows?

WG doesnt want, that we players know/learn mechanics. Otherwise, this constant changing doesnt make any sense: - Radar / Hydro changes - IFHE / plating changes ... Only when we are all drooling on our keyboard, its fine for WG so we mindlessly throw money at them.

I think its favourable for WG to make people spend doubloons instead of cash. If you buy something with money directly, you know how much it costs. However, if you buy Doubloons first, and then use those Doubloons you lose the feeling for real money, as you dont actually use real money. Also, its harder to keep track how much real money you just spend. "2k Doubloons, how much money is that?"

Probably those pacifist wows players ive been seeing lately. I played a few Coop games yesterday in Mikoyan to get the tokens from it (last day to get them), and the amount of people not using their guns or straightout running away from fights was UNBELIEVABLE. Its not normal anymore, those people need to play Hello Kitty Island Adventures, because a shooting game is definetely not for them.

How about we remove repair party first, next DCP gets changed so it wont instantly repair any fire/flood with 1 click. And mainbattery hitratio needs to be severely nerfed aswell... Ctrl+click doesnt do anything for secondaries actually. It only prioritizes a target, which can be useful if you have multiple targets in range and you want them to shoot at a specific one.

Weirdos? Most battles played with DRESDEN !!! You will always have players playing huge amount of games with a specific ship regardless how strong it is or how well they play with it. But if you find very strong ships, you will find more people who are really good with it who play it all the time (Hosho / Nikolai) for statpadding or maybe they just think they are awesome when they can win and dominate others with OP ships. Truth is however, if you wanna statpad you gonna do it with the best ship available, and thats clearly Hosho. I have played neither Langley nor Hermes since the rework, because why would i when i have Hosho?

Worked reasonably well for me (end of last year + this year) Naturally 155s with IFHE, because 203s are just the worse option (also ive played >500 games with Takao which has the 203mm guns) Its not a Kutuzov or CM, but close to my results in Baltimore, so i think it works. Squishiness is an issue ofc, i mostly went in, turned around started kiting/angling away and farmed the enemies.

I wouldnt worry too much about them. As WG already announced changes to some LMs, im sure, they will nerf others aswell which are currently straight upgrades. They nerfed DMs LM by putting it into the 5th slot. DMs LM was among the better ones, and now its probably more of a sidegrade at best. So if they succeed, we wont have any more upgrades, but sidegrades instead. And sidegrades arent really necessary to begin with. I have 5 LMs, 3 are useless (Wooster, Hindi, Mino), 1 is ok (GK), 1 is really good (Yamato). When they are finished, i expect to have 5 LMs which i wont use... GKs LM is already changing, which makes it worse for me than the normal reloadmod. I expect Yamato LM to get nerfed heavily. On the other hand, Woosters LM is getting buffed, and it would free up 3 pts for SI you dont need anymore. Alltho, freeing those 3 pts doesnt really do too much... so i wouldnt call it necessarily an upgrade (with old AA in place, freeing 3 pts would have been useful for BFT).
