I know the answer: Survivability from the better one And from the other So he just camps in the back, unspotted the entire game. 75% survivability with 43% WR... holy smokes. He most likely hits 2~ torps per game from maxrange, while the other guy kills DDs and gets caps Also the difference in XP is huge: 777 vs 1551, even if we assume one has premium and the other doesnt, we can conclude, the higher one gets more damage in on DDs. -

Watch the game till the end? Id do that anyway because my division is still in battle. But even if it werent for divs, you can always learn something from spectating. -
Well, i think, german BBs are more helpful when played in a division, since random teammates simple cant or wont make use of the tanking ability of german BBs. They are still the best ship to go in, as they have Hydro and a turtleback. Getting a broadside volley hurts, but not as much as eating multicits as other BBs. F.e. if you have to make a move, and you need your team to use that time to kill enemy ships, thats when a division comes in useful. You might go down, but it could get you a win. The small caliber guns can have issues these days, as almost all T9/10 Cruisers have sideplating thick enough to bounce your shells when properly angled. The smaller the caliber, the more you rely on shooting at broadsides.

If you havent done it, go for tankbuild. Secondary build is fun when you are toptier, but as lowtier it wont help at all. Then you are better of having FP/BoS and other stuff.

For that i think we can be sure he tries to attack DDs, as seen in the video. Its pretty much the same, except for th WR. Most of the time, you should have less damage in 3x division amongst good players, because 2 other good players automatcally grab damage and kills from you. Ask one i play division with all the time (you know who), he will say i steal his damage and kills all the time I think its more a skill issue, that IJN CVs are harder to play properly. US CVs are easier if you arent that great. Atleast so ive heard. -

sure the samplesize is rather small on all of those (and i only checked solo stats as i said, because divisions influence the WR), but looking at his avg damage, i rather stick to him being lucky in those few games than being unlucky in Enterprise/Shokaku/Haku. I guess he is a 50% CV player at best, which isnt anything to brag about, and certainly doesnt proof if AA works or not. If anything it shows, any AA is good enough to make his life hard. Dont need a Halland for that. -

Your theory includes sub avg CV players. Solo stats ofc, i dont care his [edited]getting carried in divisions when he is playing CV with Super Unicums. His damage is same in 3x divisions, but his WR drastically improves there. So he is getting carried. His solo Stats are pretty crap: Sub server avg damage in all CVs except GZ (2 games) and Ark Royal (1 game). His WR in Implac is pure luck, probably in Auda and Kag aswell. If he plays more battles, his WR drops into red (Enterprise - most OP CV in the game) So you want others to shred 53+% Halland players, which they clearly showed, but you basicly present us a <50% CV player to proof that Halland AA kills everything. I doubt that guy is capable of dodging flak in the first place. He attacks any ship, he will lose most of his planes. -

Remember that every ship has its own PR. A DD is not competing with a BB for the same PR. Imo out of all classes, BBs are the hardest to get a high PR. Its only hard for specific ships to get good PR: New lines limited access ships like Stalingrad PR for those is not correct, as wows.numbers bases their PR system on average values and expected values. But since people playing Stalingrad are already very good, its almost impossible for anyone to be so much better than the average results. The more people a ship play, the more accurate PR will become. F.e. there are only 3 people with Unicum PR for Bourgogne. Not even 1 with SU PR. I dont even know what you would need to do for SU PR in Bourgogne: 200k+ avg damage, >80% WR, 2,5+ avg kills. -

yeah, because WG would need to track it openly in order for those sites to use it. They do track more in-depth how damage is contributed, but i dunno if they track how much a player deals to other classes. PR can only show what WG is giving us, and since they just track total damage, its all we get from it. But how often do you see unicum damage with sub average WR? Thats basicly what farming BBs get you. -

Pre-IFHE rework shchors was the strongest T7 Cruiser for me in terms of firepower. Armor is ofc what it is, but the guns were insane. They still are unless you meet T8-9 BBs... -
Its quite normal, that ships with less games have superior WR. More games = more players = more bad players to drag down the stats. Even worse for wows.numbers they include all time stats. Those 3 following premiums probably arent that interesting for good players, as they arent really strong. Scharnhorst B is just a copy of Scharnhorst, and Poltava has basicly no battles played and being rather mediocre. Im not saying that Sinop is weak, but the changes you propose would pretty much make Sinop and Kremlin unplayable. FYI, secondaries have a Sigma of 1,0 so you know what 1,2 sigma would look like to some degree.

My T8 CV experience btw... (ranked Sprint + randoms, i think that was 1st random, so my 11th T8 CV battle) I dont count my 3 TX CV Coop games after rework. So yeah... and those guys you say cant do it, they are like 10x better than me in CVs. Btw, i knew that Harekaze is a good player, i went right away for him, his game was over after 3 minutes. He survived by running into the last corner, and i had to go for the shima spot/attack it, and then deal with pushing BBs. Mogador was on the opposite corner of the map, where he could farm my pushing noob teammates. But he was no threat at any point, i just killed him in the end because all other priority targets were already gone. So DDs have 2 options when facing a CV player that actually has a working brain: Do nothing Die trying -

Well, Edinburgh and Minotaur can definetely be played as Radar ships, however, most of the time the surprise of using radar instead of smoke is giving the edge. If you remove smoke from them, everyone knows they are radar ships. And then there are the others which are bad as radar ships (neptune) or simply cant use radar (T7 and below). I dont think giving them radar would be the answer, however, a light version radar on lowertiers might not be that bad to help people ease into the radar threat. Ontop of that, RN CLs dont even have HE shells, and neither do italian CAs, so the problem of HE Cruisers sitting in smoke is basicly down to - Perth - Huanghe - Kutuzov (cant be obtained right now) - Belfast (same as above) - Smolensk (same as above) - Iwaki A (same as above) - Flint (same as above) -

Maybe just every ship should get a heal? I mean, you can even have different types of heal, as you correctly said, a fire on a <T9 cruiser is permanent damage. So we could have heals that work only on fire/flood damage. Or you could give flatout heal amount regardless of what kinda damage you receive, f.e. T5 Cruiser gets a heal which heals 2k HP. There are tons of options which wouldnt break balance if done properly. But if you give T7-8 Cruisers a heal, next thing is T5-6 Cruisers are getting shafted meeting those and so forth... Btw heals for T4 ships would be bad at all, seeing all those CVs which can just shred no-AA ships -

While i dont disagree, BBs could lose a bit of range, i still think bad CV players influence your game much more than bad players in any other class. A bad BB player sniping from 25km is basicly nothing i have to be afraid of, and i dont have to adapt my playstyle (if anything, i can play more freely). But with a CV, i have to change my playstyle from the get go, mostly because i dont know what he is gonna do (or if he is good or bad). And even if he doesnt attack me, he can always randomly spot me. Which gives him much more influence over my game than if he would play any other ship. Also i dont feel like talking about other classes, its about CV problems. If you wanna talk about Cruisers sitting at islands or BBs sniping from the mapborder, we can do that in a seperate thread. But weighing problems between classes doesnt make CVs more balanced.
