Explain to me, what CVs bring to the table for the other classes? Class interaction for DDs/BBs/CAs makes sense: DDs want BBs to kill Cruisers. BBs want Cruisers to kill DDs. Cruisers want DDs to kill* BBs. * Actually here its more the threat of torps keeping BBs back than actually killing them. As we know, DDs have lowest average damage out of all. If DDs would counter BBs, they should have the highest. That interaction makes sense. All of them need the others. Noone needs CVs. They are only griefing every other ship class in the game, while bringing absolutely NOTHING to the table. And subs do EXACTLY the same.

So why do you keep playing BBs if they are that horrible? Apparently, playing DDs and Cruisers is like heaven.

I can attest to that. Ive also several incidents like that. Recently shot a Stalingrad at >20km with Venezia backturrets, hit all shells all pens, like 10k damage. Frontturrets follow, less hits, less damage ofc, even tho it was 9 shells this time And a lot of those very juicy BB devstrikes from backturret(s) -
I mostly dont bother with it anymore tbh. Its a huge "waste" of time for some ships i dont need to play (or want to play in the first place), which i could use freeXP on which i can gather by playing ships i enjoy. That being said: - Got Hawkins from first RN CA part. Meh, played it once, felt like utter garbage. FreeXPed to T6, sits in port now. - Did the ARP stuff, for which i got credits (i already had all of them) - 2nd RN CA part i ignored. Yeah, didnt get London, but thats not a big deal. Just didnt feel like playing to get even started on the missions. - EU DDs was pretty BS for me. I actually got T5+6 by just playing. Then i thought "i could make the T7 with small effort". So in the end, i had 590 tokens, 10 short. And no way im gonna pay 1000 dubs to get those tokens. - Russian cruisers: Got Miko (by luck with 300 tokens at the start) and the Tallinn Permacamo. Then i thought: I could get Tallinn, but id just play Coop to do that stuff. Then i figured, its not worth my time. I have >50% of the XP needed on Shchors IIRC, so i can just use FreeXP which is way easier.

Well, that season is basicly over (thank [edited]for that). All i care is what happens now. Will WG give us some BS and justify the CV crap? Or will they see that it actually is bad. Maybe they will put CVs in again without change. Or with some changes. Or CBs at a different tier next time where no CVs are present? Thats what im interested in now. If its again with CVs, and there is not even a spotting change, its the day i uninstall. (which wouldnt matter anyway, because the day subs enter randoms, i deinstall aswell - question is when it will happen) -
I had to push that Benham, because one of my [edited]DDs was like "mimi, i dont help you, you camping [edited] " If torpedoes would be dodgable to 100% all the time, they would be useless btw...

TBF i watched most of the first video + some of NoZoups BB videos when they uploaded them. I just simply couldnt watch it, because it was so far away from reality, you could even see it in the video: - BBs cant citadel/devstrike broadside Cruisers at <12km anymore *5 secs later* - Citadel/devstrikes an Italian Cruiser at that range Why would you even say that, when in the same moment you prove yourself wrong? You could say, what those people ask for are farming pinatas. Cruisers should get deleted when being broadsides, and they arent allowed to deal so much fires/damage. If you nerf HE, you gotta buff AP, because thats apparently not an issue (it certainly never was when BBs kill eath other with citadels). The problem with that however is, AP is already stronger in certain situations even right now. So make AP stronger = makes it actually worse for BBs. And that just proves: Its all in those peoples head, atleast about the fire damage. And at the same time, they make it worse by also shooting HE with their BBs. Thats something ive been saying for 2 years or so. Fires can be managed, but HE gets also more potent the more people use HE. If you have 1-2 ships shooting at HE at, you have a good chance to not get permafires, because itll take time and you should be able to get into cover. However, a random BB salvo starting 2 or even more fires on you (which even with FP is not unusual because dispersion), you might not actually get into cover without many permafires or taking a lot of fire damage. So yeah, excuse me for not taking those people seriously...

So we trust people who are average for game balancing now? As ive said numerous times: Those people whine that their favourite ships got a little harder. Then they go full delusional about how awesome they are in CAs and DDs, and you go check their stats, and it couldnt be further away from the truth. Sorry, based on that evidence + that BBs are played the most out of all classes AND they have the highest average damage out of all classes, there is absolutely NO indication that BBs are useless or not viable. The guy you showed in the videos: id call that delusional also. Yeah, i can totaly see the OPness of HE spammers. Oh but i have 95k avg damage in a CL, ThAtS So OP!!11 well, congratulations to your 47% WR with it. Sure is worth it Meanwhile useless BBs I rest my case

I dont personaly see it as a big issue. The most probably cause for that is the large caliber BBs these days, which naturally get more overpens than the smaller caliber ones. I still prefer being angled than showing broadside, unless im absolutely sure its not gonna backfire.

Thats the problem with the average BB player: They are like sheep. You can be the best player in the world trying to get a crossfire, good luck when you have 4 BBabies following your every move, and the enemies just keep pointing their bow to the BB-Blobb. The best results you have, when you get 5 BBs distributed evenly across the length of the map - now try that to get into the heads of the playerbase. Flamus central position is only so strong, when he has BBs on the flank, occupying the enemy ships on the flank, so they show broadside to the center.

I was hoping you would elaborate on that, but probably doesnt happen. Thats my average spotting damage in BBs. For TX BBs, average spotting is at ~22-23k (something like GK/Kremlin) or below 20k (Yamato/RN BBs) Yeah, im totaly humping that mapborder

So you want them to cause more damage? I can tell you: A Cruiser putting 5-8k damage with AP every couple of seconds in your side is a frightening experience. I rather have them shooting HE into my saturated superstructure, dealing little damage. LOL, thats actually what i was wondering if it would happen while watching his vids. Flamu shouldnt teach the playerbase such things... like he told them to keep blindfiring, and now he complains when they blindfire him Might be dependant on the Cruiser in question. Stuff like Venezia/Henri with spaced armor makes it quite likely to overpen: - shell hits outer layer but doesnt arm yet - Shell hits inner layer, and its enough to arm the shell. - Shell continues, detonating outside of the ship becuase of the fuse delay. Thats something i really hate. Thanks to powercreep, newer Cruisers are more resilient. Not only thicker armor (Venezia has >200mm armor at the citadel) but that layered/spaced crap on top of that. Which old Cruisers dont have. And it teaches dumb situations, where showing broadside makes more sense than being angled (Smolensk, because it actually doesnt have enough armor). But if people are under the impression, angled ships take more damage than broadside ones, then shoot them while they are angled - problem solved?

Confirmation bias, which is not whats actually happening. You think you only get overpens/shatters/bounces with BBs and burn everything to crisp with Cruisers. In reality, your BBs perform better than your Cruisers (even recently). So its in your head only. Im not saying, getting burned to death is fun, but there are ways to work against that.

Meanwhile, your own stats totaly disagree here BBs beat your Cruisers in every aspect: Higher WR, more kill, and 45% more damage. People got used to BBs being an easy to play "brain-turned-off"-class. Now after YEARS BBs need to think a little bit about what they do, and everyone is going crazy (not only blaiming the OP here). Meanwhile, most of the time people do considerably worse playing Cruisers or DDs, but they still say those 2 classes are overpowered I see no issues whatsoever...

Due to the divisions, it was impossible for the MM to change anything. You can move the A div over, but then there is a discrepency of 3v1 div in the teams, which is not possibe. You could only move the enemy B division over again, which then would end the same way it is now... Yeah well, nothing MM can do about it. -
WG doesnt like Campaigns is probably the most reasonable answer. They prefer Directives for missions now.

Mostly irrelevant, as it only changed things for a couple of BBs. Meanwhile, the latest TX BB additions, namely Ohio, Thunderer, Kremlin and soon to come Shikishima, all ignore 30mm armor (hey could even add Georgia to that list). Instead of nerfing Cruisers, buff the BBs which dont have overmatch capability IF necessary (probably isnt necessary tho). And neither is a blanket Cruiser nerf necessary. -

Can only to that. WG knows their playerbase isnt the smartest (they continously throw it into our faces "CVs cant manage consumables"). Yet when looking at Hindenburg players, ofc they are so smart, they use the LM. Which is utter garbage ofc, but they dont understand it. And Hindenburg players include many germans, who play ships because they are german, which often makes them below average players to begin with. See above. Like the average Hindenburg player understands that this LM is garbage. They see -40% fire duration and start drooling, because half of them are BBabies! You literally cant burn to death in a Cruiser in a sense, where you have taken so much firedamage. IF that happens: You are a 30% player, who dies 10 times over to BBs. Imagine getting farmed by a DD and burning to death.

If he would have asked to improve instead to make a statement how CV play supposedly is (which majority of forumites know that its not the truth), then he probably wouldnt have gotten those answers... You could show epic failes in every class, and you would get the same answers - its not reserved for CV players. - Cruiser showing broadside getting devstriked by a BB - BB straightlining getting devstriked by DD torps - DD smoking in radar range of a Cruiser Claiming thats how the gameplay is, would be rightfully called out for being a misplay. Same as here. -

Question is: Would the players complaining now about CVs in Typhoon/Hurricane league complain aswell about Musashi/Alaska/Benham spam? Atleast i personaly wouldnt. Or just give more restrictions on ships Easy way to make CBs viable on those premium tiers.
