    Only because germany happens to be included on EU server. And most germans play german ships, because reason (not excluded to germans ofc, but respectively for every nation). And those players are usually the worst amongst all, dragging the stats down https://na.wows-numbers.com/ship/4259231440,Zao/ if you go to NA server, Hindenburg is in the middle of the pack (ignoring that alltime stats are not really good to compare, but for this i guess its ok). And which ship is worse on NA server? DM! Because US ships and USA is in NA so...

    Dont get your hopes up for Hayate players showing up here looking at it from an outside, non-biased view: If you already have Odin/Siegfried, id get Hayate first because you want to get it anyway. If it would be a choice between getting either, id take Ägir, just because 2m FreeXP is overpriced.

    DD Gunboat vs Torpedo DD

    Everything is possible. This game was just pure horror, when i had all of the enemy DDs try to hump me all the time. Luckily for me, i could outspot them, and the Black i killed with blindfire when he tried to smoke up and Radar me. Try to trap them, so you wanna stick close to your support, and be ready to run away. If you have the spotting advantage (which torp DDs usually have), the enemy DD has to decide by rushing into the unknown or take the smaller risk by turning away or smoking up. If he follows you and manages to catch you, smoke yourself up after he shot. If you have the right angle, a teammate should keep him spotted, forcing him to pretty much smoke himself up aswell. If he does, torp his smoke and leave your own. Dont keep sitting in your own smoke for no reason.

    For me the problem is, lets say, you fight a DD, and you usually only get so many salvos of, and only 1-2 are expected to be good ones where the DD is broadside (unless DD is dumb). So with Hindi you can only get so much, Henri will get more and we dont have to talk about Venezia Against Cruisers we have the same but with AP. Henri is a Citadel threat, while Hindi is "only" pens.

    Hindenburg is a jack of all trades, but sadly, thats not a good feature anymore. Ships which specialize in certain areas are stronger, as they get a job done quicker, aslong as they are suited to do it. Venezia and Henri are stronger as direct competition. Venezia can help deal with DDs thanks to the smoke, which also increases the survivability (stay alive = more game influence). Henri on the other hand has good AP, its so fast in can actually catch DDs and the MBRB is on demand fires or extra citadels. Hindenburg has high HE pen, which deals no damage, so its better against a few select ships, but worse against everything else. On the other hand, it has high damage AP, but no pen to be a severe threat. Its also slower so it doesnt deal well with DDs.

    That logic is upside down. Because WG releases more and more very large caliber BBs with good accuracy, Cruisers needed to adapt in either camping behind islands or slinging HE from maxrange, so they have atleast some chance to dodge those BBs. And now Cruisers are supposed to be at fault ?! Certainly one way to cater even more to BBs... You might not even be able to angle against 1 BB, let alone 5 which are the normal amount of BBs per game. Not that it will get any better, with the release of yet another 457mm caliber BB on TX

    Which Ships should i get?

    Alsace is still extremely strong. Dont hesitate to use both HE and AP, that requires a bit of thinking ahead which ship you gonna shoot next. Interestingly, i have no issues with Alsace or Bourgogne dispersion... must be the 12 shells

    So how people get good stats? And if people have good stats, how come they get preferred in the MM? Somehow i doubt the system works like you say it does, or why do i get to enjoy this type of teammate? And how do you conclude that? Looking at their stats: no, they arent that bad? That really makes no sense... ive seen 40% players div up with 3 guys, and they drop down to <20% in the "correct" combination, and RIGHTFULLY SO. There is a certain amount you need to do on average per game, to get a certain WR. Some people show their "great" games while losing, but they ignore, that 9 out of 10 games they do poorly, while they might have won with a better performance. Ofc they dont understand that, since they focus on their good games, only because they lost.

    Why are you complaining about people, when you lack experience yourself? F.e. your Fiji stats You have 23k average damage - But your own Ship has 31k health + heals ontop of that. And you kill one ship every 2nd game (roughly). Please explain to me, why you should win more often? Just as comparision my own Fiji stats So i have more than 3x your damage and almost 4x as much kills. You have 54% WR i have 69% WR... your own performance just doesnt cut it. You are better off improving your own gameplay, than to focus on what your teammates do (or not do..). Since you cant effect your teammates, except for playing in divisions.

  16. I got a brainfart and wrote the wrong stuff above. It should have said: 1100 base on the lowtier side in a win Hightier loss seems to be 700-900. Dunno about lowtier loss.
  17. Not worth it. Best XP earner on the lowtiers netted me 1100 base. Winning on the hightier side should get you ~1600-1700.

    So now you are inventing active counters against your counters? Sounds great, so when do we get Radar-counter for DDs, Citadel-counter for Cruisers and Torpedo-counter for BBs? Squad shortening or just simply pressing F after first attack dont seem to exist in WGs gameplay

    Its weird, that the setup seems to vary between 5vs12 or 5vs9 - the only 2 options ive seen so far. 5vs9 with 1vs3 CV is like 4vs6 surface ships, that seems like a rather easy fight for the hightier ships, especially if we account for the fact, that most CV players just suck [edited] 5vs12 without CV seems to be much more in favour of the lowtier side. Was the 2nd game also 5vs9? Then it must be the CV causing this. I think the 5vs12 ive seen were all without CVs.

    What ship next?

    Im really disappointed with Tallinn... the main issue is, that it really doesnt hit well. At times, it might aswell be BB dispersion coming out of those guns, and the armor is not good enough to attempt any aggressive play. Since the reload is really slow, you need to count on certain salvos to hit, and they dont. Infact, Tallinn has the worst hitrate out of all my T8 Cruisers, except Cleveland. But Cleveland shoots twice as often, so it gets away with it (+ the shells are much more floaty). Other CAs ive also played more recently - Balti 37,6% MBHR - CM 34,8% - Amalfi 37,8% ... - Tallinn 27,9% Balti and CM have better reload ontop of that. Amalfi can risk a bit more thanks to the smoke, so it can go closer if necessary.

    I think thats weird aswell, havent seen a 6vs12 so far. No wait, ive see a 9vs5 screenshot too But havent seen 6 on the hightier side. I think 5vs10 or 6vs12 would actually be a fairer battle than 5vs12...

    Except with that explanation, Cruisers would beat 2 classes (BBs and DDs) I mean, Cruisers as a whole arent really suited to counter DDs either. Only the ones carrying radar are able to Counter DDs, with varying success btw. Id say the most lethal DD counter is a Radar Minotaur. But in general, CVs are a much better counter against DDs than Cruisers are.
