    Your account is registered 4/11/2015 - which is after wows Beta. Well, i would be lying, if i wouldnt admit that i got my WR from the back of those players. But seperating players like you, him and me from one another wont help anyone really. What needs to happen is, that WG starts to educate their playerbase more, and stops those people from playing hightiers. Let them play midtiers, until they learn to play properly.

    The problem with fighters would be, that we might end up with "gentlemens agreement" as in: if you dont take a fighter, i dont take a fighter, so both CVs can farm damage unharmed. 1 squad playstyle has no room for active fighterplay - as sad as it is, its still the truth. Why would you take a fighter out?

    Well there were atleast blueprints/plans for those... meanwhile Venezia is actually completely made up f.e. Atleast they admitted that. Interestingly, if they made her up, not sure why she needed 15 guns to break balance

    10 players, each has 40% with 10 games played, so 4wins and 6 losses. Now we let them play ONLY amongst each other for 10 more games. Lets assume, everyone wins 5 games and loses 5 games. They have now 20 games played, 9 wins and 11 losses. Whats the new WR? 9w out of 20 games is 45% WR... So everyone starts with 40%, and everyone now has 45% WR. Eventually, they would all have 50%, some sooner some later, since they ofc wouldnt equally win 50%, some would win a bit more, and get to 50% WR faster than others. Same happens to >50% WR players ofc, and at some point, the system defeated itself because everyone has 50% WR.

    And you couldnt figure out what happens, if below 50% players only play amongst each other? (same with above 50% ofc). Should they still only win 40% of the time, or would they actually be drawn to 50%

    Because bots would get zero'ed out all the time. Lately when they made it 9v9 it made no difference, because a few bots always survived. Then they increased the points so bots actually can die before reaching 1 points. Atleast sometimes, if no human dies there are usually still 1-2 bots alive at the end. If you go to 12vs12, you would essentially be left with 5 or so bots alive when they reach 0 points. Also getting 12 humans in 30 sec queue time is probably not gonna happen, often enough you get 4-5 bots right now on the human side due to lack of players. And bots fighting bots is extremely boring, as they tend to just ram each other.
  7. Havent done it to a DM so far, because it usually wont work. But in CBs ive dont it against Moskva and Venezia. Even did it with Mino against GK & Kremlin and Salem against Yamato
  8. Well, he pretty much wouldnt have died any faster, as i was so very close i couldnt launch them right away since they wouldnt have armed Yeah, DM is the worst ship to go after in a Mino. Maybe PR is worse due to overmatch. Stalingrad is actualy less scary because of the shortfuse AP, often enough it wont reach the citadel (alltho it still hurts lol, but reload is so much worse compared to DM).

    Please no... there are already CV player running around who think, surface ships are there to protect their precious hull. No need to further strengthen their egocentric view about them being the masterrace Also that sounds really unfun, since only the CVs could actually play the game? Or not when they cant attack the enemy CV either when all ships camp around it

    Hey, we can agree on Smolensk being broken and bad for the game, but sadly, i dont see an indication that its actually OP. Noone overperforms in it in anyway. And if playing 15 random battles is enough to be a fanboy, then i guess everyone is a fanboy for everything Yamato OP, NERF AND REMOVE NOW! Was my 6th battle in it, while before it was 275k in Hindenburg. It makes sense, that people get high damage with Smolensk, they just need more luck with Fires, and BBs that actually stay alive and get themselves farmed but not too fast. It deals hardly any pen damage, if someone has 300k in smolensk, it might be 200k in Wooster, because the ship would have been dead by then, but Smolensk gets to farm an extra 20k per ship because of fires. Or they shoot different ships to begin with, so Wooster radars and kills a DD for 15k and in the time being Smolensk gets 40k on a BB. HE spam hurts..not really? Smolensk sets 8847444 fires per minute? nope. if you burn you burn, cant burn more Maybe people should just git gud...

Thats your opinion. - Radar doesnt harm any ship directly - Its pressing a button like every other consumable too, but apparently they need more skill? - If it requires no skill, then people shouldnt be able to misuse radar - yet, ive probably seen it hundreds of times. If it would require no skill, either it would be on permanently, or it would trigger itself once a ship enters radar range. btw apparently you didnt learn much in your 1v1 Chapa vs DD?
  13. That still doesnt answer the question: Why only radar and not the other consumables? I want to kill the DCP-team so the BB wont extinguish my fires anymore

    Even thats not true, if you play a CV well people still compliment you. Got 4 in one ranked game playing Enty I think most average players understand teamplay, if you help them, they might compliment you. And playing well certainly helps. Im currently at 223 Karma, and i do get reported all the time too, but i also get complimented quite often.

    Every other game you basicly get no fires at all... and there is a reason, why you see a game with 30 fires and 300k damage on YT. Why would anyone show a game where they have 6 fires and 100k damage? yeah, never had a witherer in Smolensk btw, totaly OP. 15 fires 33k damage? Not allowed to farm insta-DCP potatoes i guess. WG? i want to return my Smolensk, it doesnt work properly

    The only time ive ever seen a ship get 4 fires in one salvo, is from a BB shooting HE... And Conq/Thunderer pretty much get atleast 1 fire every salvo they shoot aslong as they hit more than 1 shell. Usually even 2 fires thanks to DISPERSHUUN. BBs are much more annoying with HE spam than Cruisers are, and also the reason why HE gets more annoying: The more people shoot HE, the more effective it becomes.

    I wanted to quote @eliastion aswell, talking about this, but was kinda lazy: I think the only way to learn when to / when not to use your guns is... by actually using them. If you never use your guns, you wont figure it out. If you try and both succeed and fail doing that, it will push you further ahead to become a better player. If you never choose to try anything, you will get stuck at the level you currently play at. The trickiest part is, if you try something and it fails, to understand why it failed. Majority of the playerbase however fails at this step, so they wont ever get better...

    So why are 2 of those 3 smolensk in the bottom 1/3 of the XP table? I dont think they did much to win the game... Also the enemies essentially had 4 Cruisers which dont tank at all (3 Smolensk and the Mino) while your team had 2 russian tank and 3 open water Cruisers, who can split the incoming fire amongst each other. The game was lost because your BBs did a horrible job... 2 of em are even alive and in the bottom of the XP table.

    Even Ryujo deals more than 10k damage with 2 citadel hits Against ships which have ~25-30k HP and NO heal. And Haku deals >20k damage with 3x citadel. Enterprise even manages almost 30k at max. Sure, BBs have higher alpha, yet they are on par in average damage when it comes to CVs. MvR easily deals 20% more damage than other TX CVs because it doesnt need to fight DDs so it can focus more on damaging Cruisers and BBs. BBs usually engage Cruisers and BBs aswell, so if you let both of them attack same targets, CVs easily win. I can also hide from a BB, but i cant hide from a CV.

    Didnt know that in randoms one team has lowtier ships and the other has none while also having an imbalance in ships... Its basicly always 12v12 with same amount of hightier ships, and 99% also same amount of low-midtier ships except for the occasional faildiv getting thrown under the bus.

    If i could steer them up to a few hundred meters straight into the citadel, yes they would be. Essentially what AP bombs are. You can also get citadelled on the worst possible drop approach, something ships AP is basicly incapable of, f.e. shooting a bow on BB without being able to overmatch it. Yes, because they punish some ships too much.
