    In a sense they did, because everyone complained about rockets being too lethal for DDs... but the geniuses they are, they thought "LeTs ScReW CrUiSeRs" instead, so here we are now. Ive warned about this several times in the past, that WG will just screw something else instead. And everyone knew they wont screw BBs

  3. Top scorer on winning side gets 2 stars - problem solved. All losers lose a star, which is fine, so there is no need for toxic gameplay. By giving one more star out, it doesnt prolong the ranked journey, since there are extra stars getting added into the game (which is why they implemented the best loser saves his star mechanic). It would actually incentivize people to play better so they are top spot on the winning team.

    Might be a nice change atleast... look those 2 Thunderers from one game today. How do these people even have her Or ranked should have a minimum random battle to participate, like 2k or something, could be less when ranked is not TX.
  5. I think its worse, because together with low DPM, you also get shitty hitrate thanks to dispersion. Tallinn also has bad armor ontop of that.

    Thunderers and Conquerors are way worse... and lets not forget about Shimas! Can live with Nevsky, Petro and Stalin, they tend to be more on the decent side compared to the first 3, who seem to have glue as their main source of nutrition.

    Why should 1 person out of 12 (or 24 if you want) have more influence than 3 out of 10 games? Btw i would say is 6 games are win/loss, and 4 games can be decided by ones own actions, so 4 out of 10 games. The way people "suggest" to change MM, this actually changes to 0 out of 10 games. What some people suggested is, to get better players if you are a bad player, and vice versa. So if i play bad, i get good players to carry me, thus i win more regardless of how i play. Same for good players, only they lose more because they get dragged down by bad players and again, it doesnt matter what they do, they still lose. Look at this ranked game i just played I expected it to be a loss from the get go, but actually i managed to turn it around. We were down 2 ships right away, and an AFK smolensk for a few mins aswell. Through damage and tanking, it actually became a 2vs1 for our side, with a Repu and a Shima vs 1 Repu... Well, the Shima (28% WR in randoms btw) decided, its smart to sit at an island so Repu (a 43% player= can rush him from behind and kill him, without the Shima being able to torp him. Meanwhile, our Repu ran away behind an island to not even spot for the shima. Both teams could have won, and we actually won already. But because my Shima has less brains than a dried slice of bread, we lost. From a mate i saw a game yesterday, where they had already lost, it was 1BB/DD vs 2 BBs, and the former were leading by points. 40 secs before the game ended, the DD decided to gunboat a 35k HP lion, only to die and lose the game. HOW SHOULD MM ACCOUNT FOR STUPIDITY LIKE THIS? Its 2 won games, thrown away by pure retardation and/or greed. You could invent the fairest MM of all, only to made obsolete by brainiacs like those. And then you tell me, i should WANT to get people like this on my team all the time to make it more "fair"... yeah right, how about no? Same game situation before i died. Shima could just torp the gap with the 2 BBs, they SAT there killing me. Repu does nothing, Shima does nothing. Its like "ah let this M*F* die SO I CAN KEEP MY STAR MUAUHAHUAUHHUAH" and joke is on them because i got to keep my star because im not retarded like they were.

    You mean like this Also please no more reworks - CV rework is crap - IFHE rework is crap - Captain rework will be crap - If they rework fire-mechanics, it will be crap too, because, as usual, BBs will be the ones going home will all the buffs, while everyone else gets the nerfhammer.

    We were down 2 ships 4 mins into the game + AFK Smolensk. Somehow I managed to turn it around, and we had 1 Repu + Shima vs 1 Repu after i died We lost nuff said

    I guess im lucky that i dont have these kinda lags, however, if i have wows running while watching twitch, i cant watch it. Its permanently lagging. Definetely something wrong with wows, and i guess for you the game lags, but for me twitch lags...

    How will the game be better, if 44% players now might have 49% WR? Its still the same player dragging you down, only it "looks better" now. Its like the one guy who proposed a "solution" to which i calculated i would pretty much lose 1000 battles in a row, because thats what he was saying. Yeah id just not play anymore? The solution for better MM are better players, which eventually would also mean i would win less than currently. But that would be ok. Not artificially nerfing good players, which might actually dont do anything.

    If they dont understand math, its not my problem. 99% of the suggestions will defeat themselves over time. Its "hidden" several times over the last 151 pages. Wait, its 152 now. The last 1% is just screwing over good players to give bad players a better WR - and im allowed to be against such proposals.

  14. Ofc then the OP needs to know, you pretty much cant devstrike a PR because it practically has no citadel. Basicly what @pra3y said: If he could have killed the PR, then the trade would be good. But PR had too much health for that to work out.
  15. Backturrets where in the correct position. Frontturrets needed 90° swing to left. Even Yamato could turn the turrets within almost 2km while going towards him. Ofc you cant decide on a Drive-by when you are touching the bow of the ship, unless you are a Mino or somthing with equal turret speed. But he had atleast 1 minute to prepare his turrets for it.
  16. Drive-by kill it. Chances were heavily stacked in your favour, because Kremlins cita is more accessable than yours. If you are able to pull of drive-by, it feels really rewarding. Most people [edited]it up because they never dare to go for it. But if you try it often enough, you will become good and can even outbrawl other ships which are theoratically better than you. Brawled a Kremlin in my Yamato and won Brawled a PR in Stalingrad and won (well technically i didnt die and neither did he, because he is citadel-proof...) but he wasnt able to shoot me. And those 2 examples are just from a couple of ranked games i played just now. Ive brawled so many ships i dont even remember all Ofc he insulted you, because he was hoping he could kill you with a drive-by.

    Yes, MMM should be banned, but i dunno how they could do it? It just accesses external stat-tracking pages to show you the info - technically you could do that yourself, only you cant do it fast enough before the game starts.

    Best place to use em were Operations back when they still gave decent XP. Nowadays, i think Clanbrawl might be the best mode to use em, if you can consistently win. Clanbattles work aswell, but not as good as Brawl imo. Ofc you can say, Randoms might give more baseXP than the 2500 from Clan modes, but its much more inconsistent overall.

    I just doubt that it would have been as bad. As i wrote earlier, the low-skill requirement of this setup forced more clans into it than it would have without CVs. Basicly starting early in the season, and getting matched against Hurricane clans ended up in playing the same lineup as they did, which resulted in more and more clans doing the same. Basicly by just observing what the CV/Venezia/Stalingrad combo was able to do, you would copy that to do the stomping yourself on lower or equal skilled clans. Naturally, you cant just keep going with the old setup, as other same skilled clans also switched to the Venezia/Stalingrad thing. Id describe it as a domino-effect, where one thing led to the other. And if you remove the CV, i doubt Venezia/Stalingrad combo could exert the same dominance over other setups, leaving room for personal preference.

    Yes i blame CVs, because they made me FreeXP Venezia, because everything else is unplayable with them. Which also means, i cant play the ship i like to play, which was perfectly fine the season before that. And they made me not want to play CBs anymore. Nothing to do with hypocrisy. Also i claimed Venezia is OP regardless of what it did in CBs. Infact, SAP is broken, and Venezia is just the pinnacle of BS.

    I made my own I was actually extremely baffled that we won this one. And despite only being 4th, i still claim a huge part of that victory because i blocked the cap for several minutes. I could have chosen not to enter the cap, and we would have lost guaranteed, by the Repu camping behind an island to get the cap. The Game ran full 20 minutes, and we only just won by getting a kill like 10 sec before the end. Also by sitting in the cap, i killed one ship and drew fire from 3 enemy ships. So much for, you get rewarded for playing for the team ... And i still had 190k damage aswell, i guess Mino and DM have tons of XP from resetting the cap. And the avg WR on my team is heavily scewed by my own numbers, since i increase them by 2% and 3% respectively. So basicly my team was much worse than the enemy team, if i exclude myself. Also our Moskva, which should have been the 2nd best player, pretty much suicided first blood because "there were no DDs and he is a radar Cruiser"

    the grind is getting to me

    Id ignore the campaign since its permanent, so you will complete it at some point. I completed the Polish captain campaign aswell, despite really working on it. Just repated the grind missions over and over with Clanbrawls and co, since id heavy flag in those game modes regardless if i have a grind missions or not. Ofc we just have the +200% daily win bonus, which makes XP missions much easier So either ignore it completely, and play if you feel like it, or focus on some other missions where you will do the campaign on the side automatically.

    It would be easier to accept, if in Season 8 there would have been Venezias, since she also existed back then. 0.8.10 was the november patch last year. Venezias were hardly used at all in season 8, atleast far from being a popular pick. And any clan surely would have figured it out, how strong it was, but it didnt happen. They surely have the brains to figure it out, we both know it, so it must be something else.

    General CV related discussions.

    I did that once with Hiryu... in Coop, but still was funny as hell. The entire team had a blast and cheered for me, man that was fun. Maybe @ForlornSailor has some pics from it, as i was kinda busy at the time and couldnt take screenshots. But he was like "wtf is that CV going past me" when he was waiting at the exit of the channel. Killed the DD with secondaries, then the Omaha with bombers, dropped the Dunkerque and rammed it for permaflood. Battlecarrier in action
