As i said before, its not about popularity, but strength of CVs, which can crap on everything. BBs are ofc most popular.

Id say the problem is, good players will easily dodge them. Everyone else will probably just eat them regardless... had enough of those teammates in ranked, who just take spotted torps

In that situation it was impossible to use. Enemies were kiting outside of my secondary range, and there was a DD running around us, constantly torping me. So i had to keep moving to throw his torps off. I guess he wanted to keep me alive, but it was one of those games, where your team wants to throw it all away after getting 75% of the map and all enemies camp in one corner. I was trying to push in from the other flank (alone) but by the time i was close enough, suddenly several of my team died and i couldnt get out anymore... And they almost succeeded with it, except for said Fiji with was last one alive and managed to get the pointwin

More like from a balance pov, where CVs get extra goodies to keep popularity at above extinct levels.

Sure, more Cruisers would benefit the game overall. But BBabies permanently complain how OP Cruisers are, so good luck with that And then you have CCs making YT vids, how bad BBs are these days since they cant kill every Cruiser with 1 shot. Meanwhile, every queue is 50 BBs with a few DDs and Cruisers Its world of Battleships and Carriers - thats it.

Do you want to get CVs buffed? Reminds when i killed 2 Rangers with my Jaguar. If i would have known that they suck so hard, i actually would have survived. But i didnt expect it with less than half health

They probably just quit instead... Steam achievements. Not even every 1/3 player gets to win 10 random battles. That says a lot imo. Till 50 wins, we lose more than half again. Every 12th person stick to the game id say (more or less). Unless the others are Coop mains, which are irrelevant for this anyway.

It would need to be different for low/hightiers, but i kinda doubt that WG would be that smart I expect it to be too high for coop anyway (3x coop div to let 1 farm when?), because farming snowflakes in coop is a no-no.

So because some ships are over-/ underrepresented in one specific gamemode, certain ships need to be buffed / nerfed, regardless of how it would turn out for random battles, which is the main gamemode of wows

Yeah, lets nerf ship X because its overrepresented in a competitive format. After that you get ship Y to replace them, because that something will be stronger than the rest. So nerf ship Y then Ship Z is best... nerf Ship Z until you have nerfed everything else, and ship X is best again, then rinse repeat

Petro AA Montana AA Monty even has fighter plane for extra planekills. And even with the worse hit%, Montana deals more damage. Any ship will wipe your squad if you take Flak. Petro longrange (as any longrange AA) is pathetic. ~50 damage per tick? like really

Average pleb wants to lick some windows while playing wows I bet 95% of the playerbase upon being devstrikes either - doesnt care at all - blames RNG/Cheat - thinks that ship is OP and has to get it himself (especially when higher tier than himself) - thinks that ship is p2w if premium - comes raging in forum Then rinse&repeat rest 5% are us who look in the mirror and looks where he made a mistake so he doesnt make same mistake again

Id only reset a line every 3 months to get double rewards, so you only need to do half of the resets. Probably there should be snowflakes again, as during the last announcement video, they said, they change snowflakes from win-based to base-XP-based. So we should keep getting snowflake events. I think last year we even had 3 of those, but that was earlier in the year, like spring IIRC.

Smoking up BBs is 99% useless, as they would be spotted after shooting anyway. From the 1% where it would make sense to save your BB, 9 out of 10 wont understand it and keep shooting only to be spotted again and die. WG made smoking up friendlies much less useful when they introduced smoke firing penalty, especially for Cruisers. You can still smoke up some of them, but the others will also be spotted after shooting. Especially if you lure them too much to the front, they are more likely to die even. CV fighter planes are pretty much useless when it comes to defending your allies. They are worth more for the CV himself to spot a DD so he can attack him, or at best used for his team to spot other ships while he is starting a new squad.

Should ask the Kaga who flew through half my team only to drop me... and he lost only 4 planes to me ridiculous... but why not take 12k damage and lose your entire squad, so balanced.
