US BBs - a event where you HAVE to spend money

But there were those discounts for 2 phases 3k dubs and 6? 8? for ??k dubs... forgot how many, so you could get like half of it cheaper.

US BBs - a event where you HAVE to spend money

Basicly every techtree ship being bought is money they wouldnt have gotten otherwise (or atleast less likely or smaller amounts). Is cashing in with little extra work attached to it. We have events anyway, might aswell go the extra mile (more like inch) and grab everything possible. Like Anchorage, where you could see the first ones literally on the day it started... how much was it? 20k dubs or something? (probably more). And T8 premium cruisers usually self for half of that...
  3. Coop has been horrible lately... it used to be much better, now its pretty much as toxic as randoms. People insulting, torping you left right and center, insult you after that, report you, ram you, shoot you... ontopic: He even honked at me when i was about to go infront of him thanks for catching the torps tho
  4. Why collect camos? Anyone, who has like >150 ships in port should have enough camos imo.... atleast i have. I have like 2000 in stock, so im good for the next decade or so Collecting all from T8-10 is enough and gives decent rewards. (i collected even some from T5-7 ships) For new players its nice, since they might need it and dont have tons of ships. For veterans, just collect the good ones and be done with it.

    Ship purchase advice BURGvsSHIKI SLAVAvsOHIO

Hasnt worked for Stalingrad either, and how long is that one out? like 2 years+ now.
  6. Not to mention like half of those that have more damage, also tend to shoot HE partially or even mostly (solely for some players...), which in terms of effective damage is much lower than MvR, which tends to dish out the highest form of damage with all 3 planetypes: Citadel damage.

Russian BB supremacy 2020 - the stats

Id say T5 is even more OP than T7, but those 2 are definetely the worst offenders in the line. Izmail is quite strong imo. Incidently, the "glorious longrange dispersion" which most people claim for Kremlin, i had with Izmail. Devstriking Cruisers at maxrange. T8 never played in randoms, only in CBs where i grinded it But the guns worked atleast. T9 is pretty bad. Easily the worst of the line. Guns dont work = crap ship. T10 i must have the russian vodka version, which doesnt hit at all, even at close-midrange. I dont like Kremlin, because im supposed to get close, which it can because of its armor, yet when it still doesnt work, why play it? I rather pick something else.

    Regarding bourgogne

Thats more of a user error than the ships fault?
  9. I somehow doubt, it will make much of a difference And i wonder, how many that can afford to get FDR, will actually get and play it.
  10. Too long apparently 4k more than the best T6 CV, 2k less than the worst T8 CV... OP much 13k less than T8 CV with AP rockets. Cant possibly be, that theoretical max damage is useless when comparing actualy damage output

    Regarding bourgogne

I wouldnt do it... french secondaries just dont cut it because of the small caliber. And Bourgogne has no heath to sustain such a position. You want to kill any ship ASAP, which you can with speed and reload boost. With JB/Richelieu, ive lost turrets more often. Probably due to the nature of being more bow on than with Bourgogne, where you are angled differently to use the backturret. Full bow-on often results in turret hits, which will kill the turret sooner than later.
  12. Yes, we all know that DDs and Cruisers are the highest damage dealers by far, because they have the highest DPM BBs literally die in 20 secs if a DD decides to open up on him. For some reason, all DD players are just too stupid to realize it, and thats the only reason why BBs are actually allowed to play the game
  13. Ive said it before, when people complained about rockets raping DDs, that you shouldnt focus on one class getting shafted. And the result is, now we have another class getting shafted, which was to be expected in WGs infinite wisdom... GL when its DDs turn after this again, because its certainly never BBs and CVs turn to get shafted

    General CV related discussions.

They are probably busy making funny noises while flying planes

Flak Balance - Östergötland, Haland, Minotauer

    No, they actually need buffs

I prefer shooting AP at DDs than having HE loaded for a Cruiser broadside. In something like german BBs i pretty much dont bother at all, because their HE is so pathetic.

And slower planes than Ranger, except for TBs which are like Lexingtons.

I think FDR is pretty much garbage from what ive heard...

Id only use HE if i have to brute force my way through a certain ship, and especially for small caliber BBs, if you are lowtier and Cruisers can bowtank your shells. Otherwise, waiting for an opportunity to fire AP into an unsuspecting cruiser/BB is the way to go. Having the stern towards enemies can be easier, due to the turret layout. Against enemy BBs, you should be able to turn in and out between his shots. Thats why its usually advisable to have AP loaded, to not miss out on potential broadside shots. Loading HE should be done if you are sure, there is no chance for AP being useful within the next minute.

very low cruisers presence in random battles

BBabies complaining, MvR rapes BBs? then realizing, Cruisers get raped even harder ?

Watched this just now, because you said you lost it. And i think, this was a game, which potentially could have been won. Few things - Dont focus on shooting HE all the time. Yes, Lyon has small caliber guns, and they even struggle at overmatching sametier BBs. But you want to keep blasting AP into peoples broadside, because 16 shells are bound to hit something - If you have HE loaded, you have to shoot DDs. Even if its 15km or so, still gotta try. Only way to learn to hit DDs at range, and most of them cant heal that back, so everything helps. - Dont DCP 1 fire if you are in danger of getting more fires or potentially even torps. The result was you getting 2 permafires You went too far out, especially with a cyclone hitting. You took yourself out of the game once the sinop was dead and cyclone hit. You basicly came back to eat torps. Id have prefered a central position, because your team had no BB there. You want to get crossfire, the more BBs split up, the better it is. Basicly you had 3 BBs on one spot behind C before you moved to the outside. And there was really no reason to move that far away from the Sinop. If the Sinop knows what to shoot, you were the least favourable BB to shoot at. Your armor, properly angled, can bounce Sinop shells, while Nagato and KGV cant. They will even take citadels through the bow. Dont expect your friendly BBs to create crossfire btw. They are sheep, and they all run to one spot, thats why you have to be the difference. The central position might have been risky, but it might also have prevented the Östergötland from killing your Kitakaze. Also every torp you can dodge, is a torp that your team doesnt take. Fighting a bow-on sinop is not something, you wanna do anyway. He kept 3 BBs, 2 Cruisers and 2 DDs busy for a good 6 minutes till he died. And your team lost a BB and a Cruiser ontop of that. So 7 vs 1, and result is your team lost more ships. Again the central position might have opened up more chances for you to deal damage to other ships behind B or those at A. Just to show you, where you were when the cyclone hit. No chance whatsover to get back into the game. Staying central early on, would have given you the opportunity to surprise enemies from a different angle during the cyclone. Here is a good example to try to shoot the Colorado. You have the minimap, and a marker where you aim is. And you had teammates shooting him. Use this to try to hit your target, sometimes, every bit helps. Colorado is a particulary easy ship to hit, as its so slow, so you can just shoot a bit infront of the shells hitting him and you will hit. Here an example from my own game Back to your game The issue with being too far away: Your Kidd faces 2 DDs alone and gets killed ofc. - If an IJN Cruiser is seeing a ship within its torprage: EXPECT to get torps coming your way. He only could torp one direction from the gap, and you steered a bit too far in the center taking a torp in B. Moments later, thats an AP moment potential devstrike. Many players play their IJN Cruisers as torpboats. Like this guy above. Doesnt shoot, only flat broadside so he can torp you. In the end, the Asashio torps were to be expected. While it didnt really matter anyway, going broadside towards a potential torpedothreat is always a bad idea, even if the game was lost by that time.

You would need to play like 100 games in every ship for that to balance out. The only thing you could do, is to upload a couple of replays so we can have a look and see whats going on. Dealing damage is not the only way to win games. With Lyon you won 22 out of 56 games. If you would have gottin 6 wins instead, it would be 50% WR, which is actually still rather likely in terms of being unlucky.
