Well you can count on my vote, im sick and tired of burning nonstop. Just yesterday - Georgia secondaries hit my Massa --> Insta fire. Fire burns for 40 secs. IMMEDIATELY the next secondary after fire ran out, i burn again. - Yugumo open water gunboats my Alsace First hit fire But i can see why WG likes Fire "RNG". So noobs can enjoy some damage while doing nothing. I wish my Smolensk would work like that... Yesterday got ~3 fires per 100 hits -

Good, so i wasnt imagening things yesterday Same here. Shot a Drake with kremlin at <10km, seeing like 6-7 shells hitting him, and game registered 3 hits Also sometimes you can hear several hits, and game shows 1 ribbon... packet loss or what the [edited]

Just saying what WG told us So a Thunderer sitting at 20km with >24km range and vastly superior ballistics compared to Smolensk is no issue? Pretty much being able to set 2 fires every time it hits you? Not to mention the 12,3km concealment with Cruiser ruddershift Focusing a Thunderer in his spawn is pretty much useless, as he can just go dark since he is sitting so far back (assuming he has any brains). Meanwhile my Smolensk game from yesterday I can see that OP fire chance

A Cruiser which just shows broadside will ofc just die. A DD still needs to be spotted. That being said, a well played DD is extremely hard to kill. I dont play much DDs myself, but from my last 170 games (last year + this year) my survivability in DDs is 67%. Same time period for BBs/CAs is roughly 64-65% with slightly above 400 games each. But if i play BB, i really dont mind to die, if it helps to win. Cruisers shouldnt feel the need to sacrifice themselves, and DDs even less.

Played Kremlin again today, was kinda hopeful since the last game i had really good dispersion in it... well today, absolute horseshit again. Or maybe it was desync, no idea what happened, but it just wiffed all the time Or just not a BB day today, all BBs kinda sucked today, Cruisers were kinda decent. Atleast they hit were i aimed (>40% with nevsky and Anchorage)

1. Spotter plane helps, if your ship can equip one. See this video as example 2. WG said, playerbase cant handle it. Yes, not a joke This used to be a thing, until they reworked CVs in early 2019. Back then, you could control your hull and manage several squads. But WG thought, CVs need to be more action packed... 3. Well, a Cruiser being oneshotted by a BB is not fun for the Cruiser either, is it? Thats kinda the thing with PvP games: What might be fun for one party, is unfun for the others. Obviously this should be within acceptable limits. I think, most of the time being shot at by 1 Cruiser with HE is manageable, problem is, when its more than one. And then its already a problem with your positioning. Or if you have a BB shooting HE from 20km - they oversaturate the DCP-management because they tend to start a fire or 2 basicly every salvo. 4. DDs do have the lowest survivability tho. Thats BB / Cruiser / CV / DD from T7-10. DDs used to have Citadels, but it was way too easy to kill them apparently (i didnt play back then, so cant really comment on that, but i assume thats how it was). But in the end, if you dont like the game, then thats just how it is. A game should be fun, if its not, then you shouldnt be afraid to walk away from it. Why be miserable? I know I know... its easier said than done, and a lot of people here want to enjoy this game, but cant anymore as they used to, because too much stuff changed (for the worse) over the past years. I include myself in that group too... And at some point, itll be too much. For the past few months i havent been playing much anyway, due to certain reasons connected to the game.

I went with Concealment + Rudder. Not the best ruddershift, but its good enough. When i was fighting a Vanguard, i had no issues to use all guns and turn in enough to bounce all his shells even at just above 10km. Imo a ship with only 15,6km range (and smoke), shouldnt feel the need to run double rudder shift. If you fight within that range, a BB will hit you even with double rudder. I went with double rudder on Ibuki, which has more range (and spotterplane), so with 3,5sec ruddershift you can dodge basicly everything. Also 12km concealment without concealment mod isnt really great if you only have a 3,7km buffer between being spotted and being able to use your guns. You would also need to be more cautious if you want to smoke up, since you can get spotted easier. I wouldnt put much emphasis on those torps. With 8km smoke firing penalty and 10,5km torps (and atleast 10,7km normal detection) i wouldnt count on using them too often. In my first game, i had no chance to use em. And i even lost 1 of them permanently within the first 1 minute of playing Easier to just take a DM/any CA captain.

Cmon guys, finaly a way to reduce Skillgap for CV Players! If you are incapable to drop properly, just fly your planes into the ship! Its glorious, WG might actually go for it

When you play Smolensk with 19km range, and you sit in the middle of the map... and you basicly have no target. less than 1 minute early it was actually true, since the GK was steaming into my range. its just so horrible... also 1 minute before, the 2 BBs (+1 now dead) were pretty much sitting behind that island. Guess they got bored and finaly thought "alright, lets move 2km ahead". No wonder they cant get anything done, when they permanently tried to blindfire in my smoke, when they had perfect targets right next to them... i swear, these people have all braindamage or something insta complaining about MM *8 minutes later* already wrote Mrconway a message, hope he is interested in banning this He admitted, he didnt want to play because "T9 MM" -

Ive definetely played worse ships on T8... Salvo damage is decent. Sadly, the one game was not much representetive, when enemies literally hugged their mapborder behind their spawn, ofc with CVs in it. Cant say about torps, lost them 1 minute into the game to a Shokaku rocket strike, alongside 10k of my HP But got called Aimbotter, so i guess there is that

I wouldnt be surprised tho. German BBs have increased HE pen US premiums with very accurate secondaries all others normal but now with more range because want BOOMBUMMPENGPENG. And ofc the new captain skill which improves mainbattery when a ship is in secondary range

Petros and Stalins AP angles are almost the same. Both ricochet guaranteed at 65°. Only Stalins starts 5° later, but i doubt that this actually makes a huge difference in actual gameplay. Also Stalin has 121,500 HE DPM, while Petro has 126,819. Moskva is much better than both at 161k, but Stalin is still lower. Also (in theory atleast) Petro starts 0,5 more fires per minute than Stalin (2,9 vs 3,4). Hindenburg and Goliath would also demolish a Stalingrad, much easier even due to fires and bigger size. Ive fought Petros in Hindeburg, damage is abysmal for some reason. Its like half what you get on Stalingrad, must be due to sitting so low in the water or i dunno...

Stalingrad basicly same concept? When enemies just angle against you, you are most useless Cruiser. Petro needs even more nerfs, or atleast rebalancing. And CVs dont get nerfed because they are WGs favourite baby. And IJN AP Bombs got nerfed so people play german CVs - nuff said.

I have that feeling for a lot of ships... hence why i basicly didnt grind any T9 BB Alsace gonna be the first as i enjoy playing that one, while being much different from something like Musashi. -

Well, a game based upon constant money-flow and grinding wouldnt really work like that anyway. If i have a TX BB, why get any other if they would be the same? Ofc the more ships they introduce, the harder balancing becomes, especially if you want to have a new gimmick for every line.

Well, that actually could make sense, seeing how they shoot. Still point stands, when they create artificial imbalance, then id call it rigging. Dunno if they changed that again, bots have been trying to ram me in Coop lately quite often, outside of their normal path behaviour. Also they dont really move normaly in general. Several BBs have been doing 90° turns to move over to the other flank
