    seriously? Do i really have to point it out? I guess so, since you want to hear it: 1. Total misusage of the reloadbooster, using it for BBs at >20km is absolutely useless 2. For almost 1:30 you didnt move from spawn - thats not how you can have early game impact. Either you go with speedboost on the flank, or you go ahead and support your DD. Doing neither and then try to go for the flank without speedboost yields nothing. 3. kiting into the mapborder for no apparent reason. You have guns, which can not overmatch anything, and you go for a place, where you will shoot enemies BOW-ON! You are lucky the Salem gifted you the kill by being dumb. A bow-on battle shooting HE you would have actually lost. 4. You try to shoot 20km, but you dont take enough lead so... not useful.

    Im entirely speculating on this one, but i think WG wants T7-8 premiums to be the ones they sell for money. The pricetag is not as high as for the T9s, so people might be more inclined to actually buy those. T9/10 are the Freemiums, with T9s also entering the premium shop (and the occasional TX being buyable in form of PR or ARP Yamato..) If their calculation shows, that they get most money from T8 premiums, because more people are willing to pay for those, then i can understand the reasoning behind this. But as i said, i have no proof for this, but it would make sense to me.

    Since you seem to be a Coop player (checking from your stats) i wouldnt buy Massa just for that. If you want something similar, Pommern fills that role perfectly. Probably most fun in coop out of the 3 you listed. And doesnt cost you any money either.

    With italian BBs and (potentially) Subs in randoms at that time, yeah... everyone, who dares to move closer will get all the love availabe: Torps, more torps, HE spam, Rockets&Bombs and 16 barrels of SAP. Im already barely playing, most people i know either barely play or dont play at all. If they play, they often play at weekends, which i personaly cant understand... Beginning of the year, it felt like weekends and weekdays were equaly bad. To me, that shifted again a couple of months ago. Playing on weekends its usually one team having 5-6 lobotomized monkeys, which will make any game pure boredom. Either you lose (see above) where you cant do anything, or you win, sometimes doing very little. During the week, it feels like there are less of those really questionable players around, and having 2 of those in your team wont cause a 5 minute collaps.

    Just stay away from TX. Its just braindead zombies running around. Occasionally you get them on T8-9 too, but overall its still more frequent on TX. Had these 2 gems last week, with brainmelting stupidity. Thunderer game, our Shima ran into a Salem, but that was not enough. He had to smoke the Salem up (which was a Unicum ofc), so he got raped by the Salem, then Salem started raping our team from Shimas smoke. Meanwhile, a Thunderer and Bourgogne sat behind islands, farming us with HE. And 3 DDs circling smokes with each other, while one of them kept spotting all of us. Pushing in would have been immediately game over, because HE spam from 5 ships + torps from 3 ships. Enemies took all caps, won the other flank, game was over in 7. Nothing could be done on our flank, we would have wanted to go center, but with our team evaporating and enemies getting the caps, there was no chance stopping them from getting 1k points. Riga not much different. Almost entire enemy team went C, except 4 ships, 3 were at A. We went to A aswell, most BBs followed also. Radared the enemy Z 3 times, noone else ever shot it but me. While i was trying to get away from being crossfired from the ships from C, all of our BBs happily camped at islands, not shooting the DD at <12km, nor the Alaska at <14km. Also not the Alsace who was sitting flat broadside to them at <6km, but what can you do if you have an island next to you i guess

    You arent the first one to complain about that. Ive seen it for years, and everytime someone from WG answer its just: "We dont see a reason to change it" or "we dont have enough players to make tighter MM rules". Latter one is ofc just a lie.

    Other people pay aswell, you are not the only paying customer. If you decide to leave a battle because YOU dont like it, you have an impact on both free-to-play and paying customers.

    Yes because you accept the rules when you play this game. Then you decide, rules are not for you, thus you get banned. Its rather simple, isnt it? Thats a different game with different rules. WoWs rules are: You can see T9 ships when playing with a T7 ship. You can try to tell WG, that you dont like it, and ultimatively stop playing as a consequence. What you cant do is, taking some form "moral highground" and ruin other peoples games with it.

    I wouldnt count on that actually. First of all, you would need to be able to distinguish if a player is good or bad in that specific ship he is playing. Not many people are good in every ship, some have ships in which they can perform good in because they fit their playstyle. Or otherwise inflate their stats with OP ships (hosho f.e.). 2nd, you cant always balance good players. A superunicum CV player has a much easier time influencing the battle than a SU in a Cruiser. He might aswell just outright kill that Cruiser player because he can. If we look at bad players, the specturm of why they are bad is very big. Some yolo into their deaths 3 mins into the game, others camp in spawn the entire game. They both will have fairly close WR, somewhere in the mid-40ies. But one is gifting the opposite team points, while the other doesnt. And a ship, camping in the back is always favourable for Unicums, as it gives them time to influence the battle. You just need to put enough yoloers into one team to make it impossible for anyone (or any div) to carry them. How can you prevent your teammates from suiciding, zeroing your points? You cant... The only way to prevent steamrolls without rigging the MM might be, to give the side buffs which is currently behind on ships. Alltho id say, this favours good players, as they suddenly have an easier time coming back from a disadvantage. While average players would still not be able to make enough use of those buffs, not to mention bad players.

    Yes i agree. On its own, CVs can be balanced. But as we both know, noone would play them anymore except for a very few people. That alone tells us, the majority of players dont actually want CVs. They only play them, when they are brokenly OP. So i guess WG is quite happy right now (maybe?). Pretty shitty design, but not shitty enough for people to run off.

    Id be up for the test. I doubt the majority would actually remove their own counters. If that would be the case, why would DDs get only BBs in their team? Afterall, DDs would remove Cruisers, but BBs would also remove DDs, so... DDs cant get BBs as their target CVs however are the counter to everything, so you could expect players from all other classes to remove CVs. Why would a CV pick to play without DDs? Or Cruisers? Well maybe some would if they think, Cruisers actually have good AA But you would need BBs/DDs to actually want to play with CVs, so.. Another thing ive said before would be, that you can only remove a class which you didnt play yourself in the last month. So if you played a CV, you cant opt out of CVs. Same for all other classes. At best CVs can play their own game, taking some BBabies with them into their own protective bubble. Sounds like win-win to me

    Alaska advice please!

    I swear to you, everytime i attempt to go brawling recently (lets say this year) i get RetardMcRamface who hammers his W-key and points his bow in my direction. I love to brawl, but in randoms, i start to get a phobia doing it. Because all i see is the toptier BB honking around "RAMMING SPEED" because its free damage for those numbnuts. Even if you manage to dodge, it means that your most likely wont get a proper citadel shot at him, which makes the whole thing kinda iffy. When you look at the Alaska video, when he shows gameplay footage: Brainiac Moskva turns flat broadside - what could possibly go wrong? Seriously, where you get those players anymore? At best they sit bow on and start reversing. F.e. recently in my Alsace game, we were losing so i had to power through some enemies. While i was steaming towards a Monarch at 6-7km, naturally he stops and points his bow towards me. I steam towards him, he reverses. I want to go around, he maintains the angle. Even tho we always complain how stupid the playerbase is, clearly they are not that dumb anymore. Interestingly, brawling in Ranked and CBs is easier, because there people think they might have a chance.

    Naturally, the improved AP angles work in your favour aswell when shooting a turtleback ship. As the turtleback has a certain angle, Alaska or US CAs in general, have an easier time passing that bounce and actually reach the citadel.

    If the map allows it, i try to radar a cap at the start. F.e. North can work nice at the C or D cap (depending on layout), where you can go park at the island and be safe from enemy fire. Also if people go up 9-10 line, which they normaly do, you can get their broadsides. Alaska is heavily favoured if you see BBs with max 381mm caliber, as you can bowtank them. Its nasty against Cruisers, but also against BBs when you can close the distance and if they have a citadel. Always try to use your AP, if you need to shoot HE too much, your positioning is not good enough. Remember that Alaska has improved AP angles, so you can shoot AP even at mostly angled targets. You can even cit german BBs "easily" through their angled bow.

    The problem is, their expected values are the average from the real value. So if only very good people play Bourgogne (because they are the ones having steel) the expected value is much higher than it would normaly be. Just as an example, how better Bourgogne stats result in much lower PR. PR works best, when the ship is played by many different skilled players, aka techtree ships which have been around for a while. The more exclusive ships are (f.e. Steel, but not money) the less accurate PR becomes.
