Sigismundus, your view is view of unicum DD specialized player, but majority of DD players are in deep shits. It's big difference from average BB players - they are not affected... PS: I'm adapting but lot of another players finished with DDs games

Not true if your team has only 2 radars and enemy has 5-6... yesterday I was in several similar battles in tier IX-X with Shima, Fletcher and Gearing. Really situation unforgiving any small mistake in team behavior.... and it is pure SCIFI.

IMHO Leander or Perth are very good for this PvE thanks to smoke and ROF of their AP guns (great to citadel bot CAs), moreover Leander has heal and its also advantage... Leander, Perth, Molotov, De Grasse... With all of them played many times this PvE - Leander seems to be the best (she is ballet dancer CL, has: torpedos, heal, smoke, great ROF and magic RN AP shells). Molotov - great guns, but lack of ROF and extremely fragile long hull..., without heal and smoke DeGrasse - great with IFHE, also without heal and smoke

Have all of them, and they are totally uncomparable... Sims is ballet dancer with DFAA and slow moving stealth torpedoes (surprisingly usable....), Lenigrad is superfast gunboat and Z-39 is good torpedo boat with special slow reloading cannons, hydro and great health pool/concealment. Blyska is now relatively weak, but still has good DPM.

Today I tried one battle with my beloved Fletcher - totally unplayable, per one DD in both teams and 8!!! radar cruisers in red team and only 4!!! in our team... It is Vanity Fair for DD... And as a special improvement of battle quality - Taiho in red team... :)

510 000 000, sailing most beloed ships with perma camos and using premium account...

Ultimate Frontier is practically unplayble with team composed from a pool of standard random players, maybe if RNG mixes a random good team or with division of well playing friends... No fun, no further taste to play it...

Leander si god of operations... smoke, heal, torps... One of best ships for scenarios...

EDIT, majority of silver ships is OP in good hands, so you can nerf everything... :) if you feel that they are OP, play with them and enjoy...

playing often Fiji, Gadjah Mada and Fletcher - all are really good ships, if OP, I'm not sure, but GOOD :)

Yet ten 19p skippers - all fully specialized captain builds for every particular ship: Fiji Belfast Minotaur Kidd Fletcher Gearing Z-52 Shimakaze LoYang Yueyang.... and three very soon (18p): De Grasse, HSF Harekaze and Grozovoi

Shitty serevrs, I finished probably the best game in Minotaur ever with kraken a another 5 medals, and I was kicked out in the last second of the battle... After 10 minutes I'm back in game and NO RESULTS COUNTED... so I lost medals, flags, premium consumables and lot of another benefits. :( Dear WG do something with these technical issues, our HW is under par...

Until started play T9 and T10 PA DDs was my torpedo damage in high tier DD battles very really very irregular (especially some battles with Shima were torpedo-less - no success thanks to vissibility of torps) - but Yueyang is amazing beast...

Played both Kidd and LoYang in this ranked, both with 19p skippers - IMHO for me Kidd is much stroger ship thanks to stronger guns, for DD fenomenal DFAA and heal... Several enemy LoYangs sunken directly in their smoke during their hydro location of me... So for me LY is not so OP...

Not so much for long commentary - our DDs were hopeless and my karma was dropping down (3 points) after only sentence in chat: OMG guys don't behave as cowards and fight please! :)

Edi has "magic fast heal", stronger torps, more HP, but in this meta is not so strong ship as Fiji in VII thanks to bad MM of tier VIII (often against IX a X). In reality Belfast can be in T VIII... And believe me, I know these ships well - played 458 battles in Fiji, 408 in Belfast and 124 in Edi. PS: one big disadvantage of Belfast - priority target for all enemy ships :)

Fascinating pile of trash about super-OP of Belfast... In the reality Fiji is stronger ship than Belfast... Why: 1) Belfast is much more glass cannon in comparison with Fiji; 2) NO HEAL!; 3) NO TORPS...; 4) worse manoeuverability. Moreover Belfast's radar is short range and has very very short duration... That's all...

After last patch I was AFK maybe four times... Game was frozen in the process of loading and only restart of computer (hard reset!) helped - any other software did not complete stuck my PC as WOWs. Very strange... 100 Mb/s optical link, 4 years old i7 with 16 GB RAM, no mods... Before this patch I never observed so strange behaviour :(.

It is a big problem with today crazy MM system - often one team has three radar ships, the second one is without radars. Ocean map is totally brutal for radarless team in standard modes (my experience: several battles in DD in radarless team), and will be almost unplayble in epicentre...

Have her with 19p captain and also have Kidd with 19p skipper - after 15 battles in ranked I still did not sail with LoYang... Kidd offers a massive heal advantage, more HP, stronger Fletcher guns and DFAA against planes. But both DDs are exceptionally good for ranked.

Not so pesimistic, dude :). Play RN CLs - From tier VI (Leander) they are one of the strongest cruisers in tiers - but they are very very dependent on player's abilities and captain's skills (10 points is good minimum - you need CE for better concealment). They are glass cannons, but with punishing magic UK AP, smoke, great maneueverability, with strong torps & good AA and with magic heal. Look for hides behind islands, use smoke wisely, dance among incoming shells and enjoy one of the most fun branch of ships in a whole game!

Have LoYang and Kidd, both with 19p captains - still I feel more comfortable in Kidd with 19500 HP, 4× heal and much stronger guns/torpedoes. Only five battles in ranked, all won, 2× killed LoYang... Maybe later I will use LoYang. Who knows :) PS: I respect all your posts, you are much better player than me, but here I'm really not sure which DD is better...
