I mean, the obvious difference is of course that Tirpitz trades Hydro for the Torps. But are there any noteworthy differences besides that? The numbers look pretty identical.

Okay, I know the title sounds silly, but hear me out. I unlocked Yamato the other day. It's completely equipped (though I don't have the legendary module). And maybe I am just stupid, but for some reason, I can't hit anything. It's doesn't appear like my aim is off, but the dispersion is just all over the place. I had no trouble doing 80k+ with Nagato, Amagi or Izumo per game, but with Yamato, it's ~30k at best. Forget Citadels, I rarely score a normal hit. Not much difference between 20 or 10 km btw, or the other ship's angle for that matter. I thought Yamato was known for her good accuracy? Do I have to aim differently than with other ships?

So after a long time, I wanted to play Z23 again, only to notice that the option to equip the 150mm twin gun was not only removed, but for some reason, the front 128mm is now a twin instead of a single. I normally always read the patchnotes and can't remember seeing this. Does anybody know when and why this was done?

Please describe what is the Point of the Marco Polo
Chiog replied to Ysterpyp's topic in Newcomers' Section
Just in case you want an actual answer and not just vent your anger: Whenever a new Tech Tree is introduced, it comes with one Premium Ship that is a hybrid of the core mechanic of the new tree plus some differences. In the case of Marco Polo, it takes the SAP, but the difference is a) as one already pointed out, the higher caliber, allowing the SAP to pierce 100mm of armor. b) no smoke, but in exchange higher range and more accurate guns (which will get more accurate in the upcoming patch, 1.9 Sigma while the Tech Tree only has 1.5 - 1.6) So in short, the point of Marco Polo is being an SAP BB with a different playstyle than the Tech Tree. When it comes to wether the Ship is good or not, there are worse BBs on T9, but there are also better ones. Maybe the upcoming accuracy buff will improve her enough to make her worth the coal -
Well, I somewhat understand that they wanted to flesh out the differences between the trees. what ticks me off is the fact that Z23 has the 128mm in a twin mount, which is simply wrong. her 128mm front gun was a single mount, only the 150mm was a twin.

That would work on every other nation, but the commonwealth has no tech tree.

Is there a way to see all my captains in reserve of all nations at once? because I think I might have a commonwealth captain blocking space from when I had Perth for free for a limited time, and I can't find the option anywhere edit: I know it was possible before the interface rework

I am on my way to unlock the Research bureau. Is there somewhere a list of what ships you can get there? Because I couldn't find one. I know of Siegfried, Vampire II, and Ohio, but what else is there?

I know where the RB is, I wanted to know if there is a list of ships I can see BEFORE I unlock it

I like Warspite from a historical point and like to play Queen Elizabeth. I frequently hear people talk about what an awesome ship Warspite is, but isn't she worse in almost every way? When I compare the numbers, the Queen (top) has: - same caliber - same AP alpha - better HE alpha - better dispersion - same sigma - same reload - same speed - higher firing range - better AA - and, for some reason, 1% higher burn chance the only things Warpsite seems to have going for her are a faster turret traverse, slightly better turning, and 500 more HP. Doesn't really look like something worth spending money on to me, or did I miss something?
