Its in the game to add another layer of “RNG” if you belive there even is such a thing in a computer game like this, its meant to eiher bring your stats down twards 50/50 or make you spend time/money to prevent it, WG is happy about either outcome

Yes occasionally you get some value from it BUT rest of the time you have low range of main guns, less barrels with same or worse reload then many other CLs in tier and you dont get HE shells to use fires and pen from all angles option… Dont get me wrong one can work those CLs but still balancing them around that gimmick is questionable at best in my book Few tries I did in ops suggest they are ok for that job though

As I said in my own thread - I dont really get that gimmick with the consumables reload its completely pointless IMHO, other then that they are quite like playing radar Mino or Neptune they can be reasonably efective as CLs go

Exactly, good thing is that most good players enjoy the contest, ie winning the fair fight and griefing is of limited interest to them or the situation would be way worse then it is now

Exactly they are not overpowered as such they are broken by design which allows good players to utterly dominate in them and poor players to be utterly crushed making even more of an unstable steamroll enviroment in the game...

No its not, the 3 rd ping set will still stick, you need to get like 60-100 rounds down range to get the needed 30-ish main battery hits to re/charge it not to mention you actually need to have something to hit for it to work and in exchange you get less barrels then most other cls in tier, less reload, worse ballistics and no he shells???? Nope, not really, lately I usually average > 10k x ship tier damage and 1.5-2.5 mil tanked in my BBs without much trouble while doing it, if this kind of cr*p was my normal battle result I would hardly make a post about it…

Well a sound advice in general but alas not practical, ops are 2 low an income and hardly a guaranteed win these days so grinding stuff in there is meh, coop is even less atractive for that unless boting which is a banable offence so also not a real option, only thing remaining is Ranked that is Random 2.0 and occasional brawl…

This, usually it fails when one tries to go 5 star with a largely demented team that is trying hard to throw, if one sees it and just goes for the win without trying for stars it usually can work out to a win at least
