It is a strong skill no doubt in offensive and defendive role, so many times in this ranked i was cursing the fate of not having a premium us or pa or ge dd gunboat in t5 or a at least a 14-17pt captain on a podvoisky for the rdf to hunt down those god damn lolibots that keep pestering the caps but what can you do i m not repurposing a main line dd captain for 5k coal

I for one just dont get this, if i end up in the match with a clan m8, he ll be near top of my targeting list just for the punt

@BartholomewKuma Well tbh your comparison sucks cose even knowig exactly where a ship is without it beeing detected doesnt guarantee a hit let alone a kill (just think of all thise smoked up dakka cruisers and dds), and rdf only gives you a direction of the closest enemy ship, sooo instagib skill? wtf?

Yes couse sonar is there so you dont get torped while smoke dakka dakka, i most likely wont bother with puting it on jutland (unless i decide to keep it active for some reason after i finish the grind) but will slap it on both cossack (when i have a spare/ get more coal) and on daring when i have it

Idk new york wasnt that bad for me, apart from the fact i dislike slow bbs in general that is, but grind itself wasnt that horrible at all frenchies i got in the pre-release iirc and since i went up from lyon never ground bretagne through did play some battles in those low tiers and didnt like any of them, anyhow i have the cesare so if i decide to go with a bb its a no brainer i guess, that thing is just ridiculously op if you apply at least half a brain cell to what you are doing

Has long range with aft as well with fast shells and quite decent aa suite for a t5 besides most other t5 cruisers are not that much faster anyway (bertin excluded) only bb that can overtake you in t5 is kongo and i dont expect to see many of those around, besides those maps are smaller and 30ish kn speed should suffice

Yep most of us already have z52s and/or yys for competitive so nothing wrong with some casual dakka besides maybee the make ir 1/4pen after all if things get sour

Well I m not sure spee (ok maybee somwhat but it was more sort of really heavy cruiser then a real battlecruiser design) and much less bismarck (full battleship armour levels) fits the classic definition of a battlecruiser (i know iknow - irl it did acctually varie somwhat amongst nations that built them) however eitel as well as ishizutchi, myogi and even to some extent kongo and amagi (and derivatives thereof including kii) are much closer despite heavier armour scheme, there is also the hood and its rather large (was it 5000t of armour added iirc?) modification during the building process... Anyhow there are several ships already in game and no real reason not to expand on them be they in bb slot such as hood or on cruise slot such as stalingrad/kronstadt and even make a silver line for 2 most prominent nations that bult them uk and germany

Krispy has the good point of beeing able to slot a dd captain (i have a kiev/lenny cap with 18pt for it), as somebody stated in some other thread it suffers quite badly when bottom tiered (whitch shouldnt happen here) so i might acctually give it a go myself... Its sort of a t5 lolanta, imho can be quite a blast

Well the split cruiser and dd lines we have split at t5-t6 and t7-t8 so its safe to assume that should a rn ca line ever come out it will be along the same tradition, doubtfoul they will go lower

I have 12pt on jutland with PT LS BFT CE not quite sure if ifhe is worth it since that sap acctually does decent job on dds and cls need more testing to decide
