Well there is the adaptation period for every the ship i have shitty stat in it as well after some 4-5 battles played, but it will improve

Cant open replay since I am at work but Kidd is a very powerfoul destroyer, you can push caps and run things down and have awsome aa to shait on cvs trying to permaspot you espetially those that are lower tiered you can quite literally deplain them in few minutes if they dont pay attention, that heal on t8 makes you unbelivably strong, you can shrug of that one mistake in whitch u got clipped and get back to fight or allow youself to burn and keep pressure on the enemy dd that will either die or run away crippeled beyond hope if they try the same its an awsome ship if you play it to its strenghts it can be a reasonable dd huner or long range/aa supporter or some combo thereof i have a fletcher cap for it with aft (mainly for aa reasons) that all said you do need to be profitient with "modern" us 127mm dd guns and they start at t5 nicholas b hull so its the most forgiving place to learn them

I got it, isnt so bad imho - if you are not the only dd in team and there are no t9-10 cvs around that is... I mean sure you can stealth cap but since concealement is rather poor in the spread and you have no smoke caution must be exercied ie use terrain for cover to the max you might be able to "drive through cap" an open water zone but it is a bit of a lottery if you get clipped and reset ofc when several ships start gunning for you... If you are in team with 2-3 other dds and are free to roam around oh boy it can get fun, its not a ship for beginners if you can manage khaba with heal you can make her dance as well, speed is insane

@OP Sometimes u get shait upon by he spammers, sometimes you devstrike the spammer from 15+km and they explode before they had time to say "o bugger" after seeing your shells in the air, sometimes your he spammers burn stuff and you just pitch in with ap and enjoy the show, se la vie m8

Wrecked a yamato with it yesterday (set fires then ap-ed him to death) guns are a bit troll but quite managable, also its reasonably durable managed to tank 2,9mil in another fight yesterday before they finally pummeled me to death

Spee might be easyly sorted out by giving it mbrb (maybee even to swap out with plane consumable) sharn and selected few (doy?) of other bbs might be refreshed in a similar way with either swapping plane consumable or even better heal for mbrb that might refresh them alot

I dont use them, i take PM, AR, SI, AFT, MCFSA, FP and DCCA with secondary range module and sec reload module on furst, works ok for me

Atlanta is not just cl noob unfriendly but to really make it dance you need to be profitient in dds as well, ie i got it 2 early and was a hairwidth away from a rage sale more then once, now aldough i rarely take it out its a different story, anyway it can rack up 100k damage in notime or die with 1k damage done, also its spawn dependant ie if you get an open water spawn in it, it really ruins your day... Fiji is a great ship, i have a permanent camo for mine and play it quite often but it doesnt mesh up with usual cruiser skillset (and i dont mean the captain perks aldough that as well) its sAP ammo and smoke conbo make it a unique beast in its tier... Schors can be a blast IF you know how to kite properly otherwise you are an usless xp pinyata, and kiting properly is in itself an advanced cruiser captain (player) skill, its quite unforgiving a ship... Algerie is ok-ish IF you play it to its strenghts and its a one trick pony - use engine boost to get into flanking position and main battery booster to burst fire a target (ideally a bb that just used its dcp or an unwary cruiser that presents broadside to your ap) but while mbm is on cooldown 8 mediocre guns and nerfed reload make you well not usless but almost... NO and indy are pretty much third line ships, indy has that radar but your dpm is just so low it really only makes sence if you are in a team that will exploit it by shooting the radared ships, you yourself will struggle to delete any in tier dd in that time its highlited and you dont have much staying power in the open water and/or focused so you are gimped alot in your radaring options, i know there are people that are really good in them but i doubt many will make them their first choice... Abruzzi is rather fragile despite heal and aldough it can deliver some decent ifhe damage when not uptiered its queationable is it worth the money unless you are a regia marina/ historic fan, i have it btw... boise/9dJ is good if you manage to get somehing worthwile in range, you need to know your positioning well to so that couse od range so its not really that noob friendly... York i didnt play thar much, dont know what buffs they did but before it was well - the ship you need to grind to get hipper

Citadels, there should be no overpens if you manage to plant a shell in it

If you want another bb line go french they are fast and quite "cruiser like" for a bb (after t6) or get yourself a sharnhorst and enjoy, nothing wrong in playing mid tiers i for one have most fun in t6 & t7 ships and only this grinding for campaingns and legendary modules has pushed me more to high tiers od late

Well id say that range vs reload advantage is both tier and ship dependent, that said 20km is enough range for 10t bb aldough you will occasionally end up with a missed opportunity to take that golden broadside devstrike at the far end of range most of the time the target will be closer then that and having your shells ready sooner will let you punish ever so hard, however its 1.5s so not that much tbh, i guess it depends if you live short and furious - ie get into fray, tank and try to play the frontline bully, you want reload to dish as much damage out as u can before you get killed, if you end up surviving most battles to the last minutes take range since you are more likely to have to fire long distance shots to help that lone dd or ca at the other flank in time

Yeah that was demented, as if a gunboat dd has problems collecting potential damage whenever you push a cap a bit and end in a knife fight you ll have a cra**ad of ordinance coming your way in matter of seconds, u need but to do your job and wiggle

Not to my recolection, might be best strategy to wait for some of those "double doubloon" offers and cut the hit that way
