Torps could use better stealth imo thay are after all your only real weapon, maybe a bit shorter torp and smoke reload and an extra charge of smoke as well, i mean they are supposed to be the ultimate spotter/ambush bb predators that are counteref by gubship dds, but most gunships nowdays have more usable torps and similar detection...

I got to r2 cant be bothered to spend more flags to get 5k coal but i guess 7v7 is ok 5v5 and 6v6 just dont give much room for recovery 1 ship (ie dd) dies and its basically over couse snowball effect

Maybee but i have several sneaky dds for t7 and more like her in this gunship role since she will never reach their concealment anyway and those 7.5 km and range with aft gives nice buffer zone and she can hit stuff nicely with those bofors in those ranges

Depends how you play but i will kit mine with pt-ls-bft-aft-de-se-ar-pm when i get to 19pt and also have engine boost module on it run srpund full throttle and start fires when it really hits the fan disingage with smoke and try to do some more dakka through it, rinse and repeat

I tried cvs and imho its not exactly ready but as good as, its playable and final balancing of cv thenselves will take some time after they go live anyway (several patches) they probably have more of an issue with new aa system for all those ships we have in the game then cv themselves

Yes you can play them differently, point is you don have to if you dont want to, if you already have a permacamo worth 5000 gold make use of it it would be stupid to waste that kind of investement just couae you dont like fortress play, yes yama can snipe well so can conq, so can monty even furst can do it in a squeese... is it the best way to play them? no, but you can have decent games even just runnin and gunnin in any t8+ if thats the playstile you like, if you can hit the target and it doesnt overpen all the time that is

Yamato is no different then any other bb, only difference is in the head there is absolutley no reason to play it any differently then yo would play amagi or say alsace or iowa, bigger gunns better dispersion at range offset your worse concealment nothong more and nothing less, stay a bit farther off and "gun for em"

Freexp premium such as musashi, nelson or kronstadt and some 20+ income flags in combo with -10% repair cost for all high tier ships should make it quite bearable i have a lot of prems and prem access but i didnt always have them and remember it well even now i m low on creds since i buy and sell ships all the time

I proposae grind to edinbourg and take radar on it, then reach 60% WR on it with at least 100 battles that way and THEN you are ready for the atlanta and stuff... -
I took ce for kiev and recently khaba as well the spotted to gun range buffer zone is much larger that way and makes it much easyer to disingage if you get outnumbered you can still run and gun good enough

We need learning campaign(s) with some decent prizes like say a sc for dd step, cl step, bb step and cv step and a mixed harder tasked one for final prize of say 15000 doubloons, some steel or some premium bb that way wg economy doesnt take a hit but makes people interested in training up a bit, make the campain taks be doable in say t3-t6 and tasks not repetable so you need to finish most of them to progress

I dont mind getting [edited]** if i misplay, i get piss** ofc but i cant blame the enemy team for beating my dumb head in, learn from your mistake and improve... Same as chess you only can ever really learn it is by getting beat loads of times by a better player

Well its the basic principle of trade, you got lots of sales try to improve profits easiest way to di it is to raise prices, we shoud ignore the merchanduse that doesnt give value for money we expect and it will move into other direction -
Well i played few matches, its different that much is sure, will take some practice to get the drops right but it has potential imo, few things to consider would be making number of planes reflect hangar capacity (finite number of planes) and make aa zone reinfircement more meaningfull ie more bonus, slower shift and 2 "degrees" since 25% boost is hardly worth the effort would be much more sebsible to have at least another step that gives 50% boost and make the shift last a bit longer and time duration adds so if you for instance go from 100/100 to 150/50 or switch sides it takes twice or three times as long as to go 25% aldough 33/66% would be even beter imo and give it real meaning

Dont have any sschots handy but 500-750k should be doable with some signals even without prem accaunt, with prem I pull that even in less then average fight with musa and with some signals and good damage it can go over 1.2mil no problem

Well large potion of problem is lack of cooperation in random enviroment, to put it simply any bb that pushes will inevitably experience the folding/dead dd curse - ie you push but your dd gets blaped or just folds and goes dark (or smokes up and sits in it) the odd cruiser that was wit you usually folds or seeks island cover immediatley and you remain plain in sight of the enemy team/flank that focuses you right away couse you are spotted by their dd and tbh there is nothing else to shoot anyway, and you die... Did you misplay? Is it misplay if you support the dds? Isnt that sort of what you should be doing? Did you push too far if you went into optimal range if your ship to support dds against your primsry targets that are cruisers targeting them? Its easy to spew condescending rubbish about misplays (ie salt) but much harder to step back a step and try to analyse what went wrong. Naturally the average player that doesnt have that much grasp on tactics, game goals and how to win basically, will get further and further away from the action, in their mind its a simple eqation - sunk ships dont shoot, hence if you are alive and snipe you will fire more shots and have more chance to hit something and score damage and wg teaches us that damage is everything since its the most directly rewarded aspect, no? So it becomes a self fullfilling prophecy - bb (and its usually the new players choice - couse resons) gets farther and farther away, it gets harder and harder for them to score hits (espetially the relevant hits) and they scream for buffs in accuracy and survivability of bbs...

History playes some role when you choose a ship as well, besides its fun to dakka people not to mention that nowdays if you want to dakka in randoms (espetially as a dd) its usually only possible if you spot your targets yourself so many short "brakeoff" smokes (those rn line and cossack sport) or insane dodging speeds (such as those of ru line and terrible) seem to be the way to go...
