Any torps dropped at 10+ km are sort of lottery items but when you regurarly get at least 3 radars that cycle themselves over the cap(s) and at least one of them is russian with 11.7km range you soon begin to appretiate that range, you can drop them in advance to at least scare the cruiser back in cover even if they miss, might give you just that bit of extra time to finish capping or slip away from trouble, i tried shima with 8km torps in randoms and its doable but its just so much extra work for occasional extra hit so imo just not worth the bother

I like us dds all of them from nicholas onwards, my gearing lacks only one 2 pt skill - torp acceleration for 19pt to be complete and yes I use 16km fish, i used fletcher fish before but due to radar abundance and reality of sometimes needing that extra range to hit a bb/ca thats turning away especially in cw/rank where you dont really force dd vs dd knifefights - i switched, other then that it has pt-ls-bft-se-ce-rpf and gun reload module, dont have lu yet, dont have kita or hara yet but despite liking zuki a lot i wouldnt expect too much from hara its rather clumsy dakka support dd if i want nasty dakka i take my khebab out fir a spin

Perth? Hope you are kidding, IMHO its a great T6 cruiser suitable for all modes of gameplay from coop to competitive it suffers a bit when bottom tier but that is true for all t6 cruisers... If you have one kit it for cap contesting and close dd support and you will fly through the upcoming t6 sprint ranked

Cant watch replay from work but in general (goes for nagato/mutsu as well as for westvirginia/colorado) stay at 15-ish km in a place where you can cover lots of realestate (slightly back between caps) and make all the red shipping that turns outward in front of cap pay for that mistake, again and again and again

It has great concealment for a t7 dd and thats the main reason I use it, its a hunter killer dd, and its best used like that it can lay fires on bbs and such in a pinch but there are far better choices for a dedicated bb hunter

I got my belfast back recently but would like more rn cruisers espetially the CA kind...

I still play it in CW but onle couse of radar and i must admit i take out gearing more and more often instead, even took out a shima for one of matches yesterday, also daring is underwhealming, lack of speed(boost) really hurts its utility with only few ships per team on those big maps...

Since this ship is now basically only interesting for CW, LU probably is not a good idea, nerfed concealment, nerfed radar for getting some of the gun and torp reload back...
