Wait I though only one aura is active at any given moment?
-
Oh ill make sure I try it out
-
Before this revork - yes, not so sure it will help you much now at least not against a competent cv ok remains to see the effects of upcoming "hotfix"

Simple they lose out trust, they lose our money in meanwhile gold is still better then an usless ship

Dont be silly we all know whitch bb line gets those comrade... -
Immunuty - no, but extreme resistance - yes, at least for ships that have neccessary tools to do it on them (suffitient aaa) BUT make it a true tradeoff ie you spec in AA you miss out else, putting the AA modules to interchange with accuracy range and reload ones is a start but not enough as losing 7% dispersion hardly is a real tradeoff in this situation, first they should split the aa skills from sec skills and main battery skills alltogether and make them seperate "lines" in the tree (they can move around and kick out some that hardly anyone takes anyway maybee even fuse some existing into 1 skill) so that you truly have to spec into aa or damage or resistance or secondary, next nerf basic dispersion across the board either by nerfing it per ship ot simply making camos add more disperion and then buff the modules that reduce it so you truly have a reason to pick for instance now its nearlly irrelevant for me if i put dispersion or aa module on a cruiser i can hit enough either way it should be spec for accuracy and hit WAY more often or spec into aaa and hit MUCH less often with your guns but maul the planes, also there shoud be modules and skills to extend aaa range but again at an expense, say put 20% aa range boost module in slot 5 so a cruiser chooses - aaa, rudder or stealth and survivability so take your pick and live with the decision... But WG doesnt really go for that kind of balance it seems, what they seem to strive for is very slight nuges in either direction in every single aspect of a ship within a class and everything beeing average for every ship in every match in that given class in the long run it makes it so that it doesnt really matter what ship you choose, it could be argued that since the teams are relatively small doing it this way is the way to reduce inherent mm disbalance BUT a) it still happens (radar) and more important b) it SHOULD matter whitch ship you choose both for you and your team, that s the way to promote teamplay and taking on roles in the team and mm problems can be adressec by hardcapping slots for classes to say 3-4 capital ships (cv and bb) and rest distributed among cruisers and dds

Ok if it sucks ill switch to ryujo thats not a problem

Targeted nerf of single premium ship is important precedent and warning finger
Yedwy replied to RAYvenMP's topic in General Discussion
Well tbh this GC buisness might be related to making RU and RM bb lines and maybee even new premiums as well not only to its stats as such -
CV can help you but not as much as before ofc, for instance I usually start by launching rocketplanes, zip over the cap drop fighter there to cover and spot for my dd then procede to incinerate the enemy dd at that cap and see what else is rolling in twards the cap and then pick next plane type depending on what is most immediate threat, works ok most of the times, i dont do as much damage early on as i might if i go for farming but we pummel the enemy more often then not and dds usually cap no problem since their team is usually busy awoiding torps and rockets

Nobody want to put up with that pain t6 cvs are crap and t8 are not much better + get to be "befriended" jaillike by t10, yesterday i had like 4 matches in shoku and 3 of those t10 and 1 t9 of whitch i was 2 the only t8 ship... I kept ranger (for now) for ops when they come around to try in them and haku for dumping doom

Belfast would still be strong in t8 as it is (aldough after smoke change and ce change things look a bit different even now) however she wouldnt exactly be i ll buy this as soon as i can strong tbh so dont know if she would be worth it or not, what I am sure is that Enterprise as it is is not worth it for me, Saipan as it is isnt either and GC in t6 wont be neither -

Oh but they usually ARE worse in basic stats (sigma for instance) then fully upgraded same class and tier line ships, selling point on them is either history, crazy consumable combos, some additional feature or xp/freexp/money bonus as well as captian transfetability -
Targeted nerf of single premium ship is important precedent and warning finger
Yedwy replied to RAYvenMP's topic in General Discussion
And here we come to the part 1 of the reason i decided to trade in big-e and saipan the moment i could, wg has started this unpleasant campaign of making premiums just a little bit less effective then "line ships" (ok there are few exeptions that slipped through becoming op mostly due to crazy consumable combos) and nerfing the presence of those that were not underpowered on server (not to be accused of p2w we all get that part) weather through withrawal from normal market awailability making them scarce, changes in mechanics that make them either powercrept or simply obsolete and now they start direct nerfs... On the other hand when a ship is clearly released in an near usless state (indicated by people not playing it much - hood anyone?) takes years to buff it (so they dont overbuff it - we get that part but cmon) and lets not forget that unlike "white" ships that you can just sell and replace with newer stronger line withot much of a loss save few creds nerfed/powercrept premiums are just a dead weight for whitch you payed (usually real world) money so I fully intend to trade in any premium they nerf or uptier in the future for gold if they offer it, acctually with the powercreep mechanic that is the driving force of general economy in this game it would be fair if they offered at least 50% money back for gold on all premium camos and ships in the game so people can get something out of those dead ships and obsolete lines -
Just trade in all the ships they [edited] up gold can always be used, well for something while gc in a t8 match is usless
-
I only take it out to rank to incinerate dds with MBRB
-
Not only that but the damage dealing is just poor, ofc I get that you CAN do DOT if you do runs properly well at least in higher tiers where there is more ordnance per salvo so there is larger chance to hit and start fire or flood but for choosing your target and really dealing with it - no, its just not that interesting a game play ATM IMHO, if i want to peck a BB to death i can take a HE cruiser or RU DD for neither of whom require a completely new skill set...
-
Agreed the reinforcing is basically useless unless perhaps if you are "fleet defending" an ally where you are not the target so the planes stay at one side of your ship all the time and the new AAA ranges are not exactly generous in that regard
-
I also got irian from 3 or 4 crate in the 2nd package, when i subsequently bought the 3rd package i got back gold for Irian. net cost of Irian was hence (got some gold in crates as well) some 6-7 k and that is not a bad deal for a T8 cruiser that burne s crap down like crazy
-
Ahashio is one of those black and white ships, either you love it or you hate it, also you either do 30k or 150k damage depends what mm you get...

I dont particuralry liked Arms Race when it was implemented but i must say its not that bad on second run
