Well m8 beeing in your shoes few days/weeks ago with german tree my only word of advice is, close your eyes, think of something nice, relax and bend over untill it passes... It gets better past T8 as most cv clubbers dont go past T6...

Saipan was always weaker in striking in RTS, if you took 220 deck smaller groups of TBs both increased losses and decreased number of fish in the water making lower alpha, speed only went so far... Also 301 deck was a meme in itself for obvious resons... What she exelled at in RTS was air dominance due in no small part to the unique strafe out mechanic she had in place as well as fast fighters, the new Saipan has much stronger striking potential beyond doubt, as for WR influence well shutting down the opposing cv was a strong tool for that regardeless of damage done

My guess is that huge number of models they are stuffing in the game is inflating the res files, they should really pull a brake on new ship lines after RM cruisers and focus on repacking and optimizing the game...

@natswright I see you have a Kaga, take her out, it wont matter what crud MM throws at you, even if you lose you will be top and keep a star, I got stuck at R7-6 and R2-1 and Enterprise made sure I get unstuck both times and Kaga aint far in power...

I just reground the KM BB line for RC... Since that was the first line of ships I initially ground through when I started playing I dodnt experience it to the full back then, now here are few suggestions from me... Its just about the line ships (silver), up to T5 its ok-ish, low level ships and yada, yada... Now: T5 Konig - needs longer range secs, fully upgraded with flag they should reach at least some 7.5km so you can actually use them... T6 Bayern - same as above with end range at least 8.5km T7 Gneisenau - same as above with end range at least 9.5km T8 Bismarck - secondaries are ok-ish, what she needs is a 406mm gun upgrade (splitting from B hull) with say 29-30s reload, so there is point in maintaining her for those that have Tirpitz, in this state they are simply to much alike, this would also maintain progression through tiers... T9 & 10 are actually OK overall although a bit of main battery base range increase could be nice as well as making GK sec range around 12.5km fully upgraded As for Premiums... PEF could use longer range secondaries and better dispersion on them as well, I mean 8x350mm vs pretty much standard of 12x356 or 8x380 at T6 is a big fail... Sharnhorst - might get longer ranged torps and secs so you can actually hit something with them in battle, say 8-8.5 km its current sec range and 6km torps are simply not enough to offset the low main guns caliber, not that she cant perform BUT to really do some damage and not get clubbed in minutes by things that have 9x406mm guns or worse you basically have to stay at range far beyond your secondaries, let alone torps...

Well that actually has sense when you think about it...
