    I dont think Colbert will be a popular choice even with those that have it due to the fact its a very fragile ship with not so good long range ballistics, some might capitalize on the fact people are not used to counter it (still) BUT I dont expect seeing her much past Storm, Smol with the smoke is much more flexible choice IMHO and also easier to get your hands on also she has better long range gunnery, additionally since she can smoke herself in the open and/or retreat through smoke she is harder to pin down... Yes Colbert has speed and good DPM but its not easy to fire guns accurately while evading fire, Henry can do it but she has to stay in a predictable path only once every 10s or so to fire while Colbert has to fire all the time, there are maps with islands OFC but again she doesnt bring any special tool to the fray... Since the season will go past 0.8.10 Venezia might play a role in the late season as well with those damaging alpha strikes and will certainly be present in the Rank T10 to a great extent as she can demolish any DD or CL in couple of salvos...

    Id say Stalingrad will lose on importance somewhat although not completely OFC, the strongest thing Grad ever brought in the CW meta was "almost BB stats in a cruiser slot" that will now be taken by a real BB, Thunderor, Ohio, Kreml and Yama will be the BBs of choice me thinks due to the fact they can overmatch the cruiser decks specifically the Desmo, Henri, Yoshino and Smolensk that will largely plague the MM up to the Strom league at least, DDs will be standard mixture of usual spotters/torpers and the Kleber i think and people that are good in the Kleber will be able to exert some strong influence in the matches as was shown in the T8 season with the Fantasque the killer torps that Kleber has and the MBRB will allow him to strike anything and despite not so good conceal it still has the option to do it more then any cruiser ever could in the same time not being afraid of meeting other dds...

    Nope, not convinced, dont know about you but I have fun blasting people, not when they blast me, balance is another thing altogether but getting devstriked aint fun no matter how it happens, only dealing them out...

    Yes IJN fast torps are good for "chasing" drops and due to high alfa every hit hurts, ofc kaga with the 4 fish drop is the most comfortable... Graf IMO has a problem in that its sort of balanced as "pushing CV" with long range secondaries and all but in the same time if you want real mileage from those planes you need to buff them with captain skills and modules and also RF are pretty also it positivly needs a 19pt captain just for her and that is not a small thing

    You can torp them with any CV, ofc some DDs can outrun some of the CV torps so you need to account for that fact when dropping them so you need to crossdrop Yes you can outrun fighters but they still prevent you from lingering there and can protect the DDs beaneath to a degree

    No you cant, as a patch could have been earlier before the ops started as for instance was case with ranked, clan, brawl and even some ops in the past... The point is not the guesswork as such, we could all deduce it will likely be the 17th but it was not necesserily the thursday as there were aberations before and quite feankly that "secrecy" around the patch dates is getting old, I know RL happens, things can get postponed, is it so hard to put "expected date is such and such (it is subject to change)" statement...

    IMHO - No she is not, she is usable yes but not good and she is not good for a specific reason called turret traverse, you are a squishy floating citadel with a bad concealment, making you turm the entire ship to follow a target is really not fun...

    Pepsi definately needs love, I guess they took a look at the only real counterpart she had at the time of split - Aoba and said ok here we have 6 guns vs 10 guns we need to nerf this hard for balance and it sort of stuck like that...

    There is no "high horsing" m8, its quite simple really - if I want you dead while driving cv, your only way of surviving as a DD is to huddle up in AA cover of several bigger ships AND with your AA turned off so I cant see you, cant proxy spot you or detect you via "detected" marker and I cant sweep for you due to the AA fire killing off my planes, do anything else and I mean ANYTHING else and you are dead, and I am a mediocre CV player at best... It doesnt really matter which tier your DD is or my CV is or what DD it is we are talking about NO DD currently in the game can stop any CV in its MM spread in killing it given enough time... Down planes? Yes Make him waste time? Yes But stop him by himself - no, if I really really want you I will get you unless fight is over by the entire team yoloing to death before that... Redeeming factor is most CV drivers lack even basic competence (thats why they dont move past T6) and even a decent CV will think about wasting 2 much time on finding and hunting a clever DD as it doesnt pay off to do so

    WG did some creative cruiser classifications in the past but do you really think 6x20" guns with an 11" belt and 100mm deck armor should be a cruiser?

    RNG has some effect, sometimes it can troll you so you lose in the end but most of the time you can influence the outcome quite nicely and in the long run it evens out
