So did anyone buy Genova? Stats? How many tokens does it cost in armory?

Well angles are ok, turrets turn in 25-ish base range IIRC so its decent enough, I have EM on my cap (future Venzia cap) as take it on most heavy cruisers anyway... They can take some incoming shots when angeled, even Montecuccoli is quite decent in that regard acctually...

The rudder at T5 and 6 breaks like crazy, T8 a little less...

IDK i had several shots bounce at around 16-17km that I am certain before the changes would be pens at least if not citadels, however I dont play her enough to have a valid sample...

I will likely try Venezia, if that fails Salingrad or Ohio and if even that fails Kremlin...

Nope you can kinnda notice in "borderline" shots the shells are weaker but most of the time is buisness as usual - go in, demolish all...

Yep hardly any DOT so you get lower damage and delete DDs, lower tier ships have slower shells so the Amalfi is the first that is really good at blapping DDs at range but boy she is good at that... This fight - 3 dead DDs, 1 devstriked Bismark (torps) and I dont remember what the last was I think a buddy but not sure... Also I took a look at the armor schemes in the port and Venezia will be A LOT different beast then all before her, all others have normal citadel belts, Venezia has a citadel belt but inside the spaced armor, she will take pens but citing her when kiting should be exceptionally difficult...

Got 15 boxes and they dropped Montecuccoli, Trento and Amalfi missions, even after 19 opened Genova crates still no Genova...

So the title says it all, got this thing today and those guns do not behave like any other 18" gun I used before, aside from the wonky hit rate as such with 8 guns its expected to be lower at any kind of range then with more BUT AP shells are completely useless, like its bounce city from angles I NEVER saw a BB shell bounce, like ever... Things that even Montana or Furst pen from a broadside no problem - nothing... Only way to do any kind of reliable damage is fire HE all the time at everything... And this was worth 5 lines of regrind?

Well depends it does have 8 guns and that is the heaviest broadside of any T5 CA by far Exeter fires 24 shells per minute and Genova fires 24 shells per minute also fully upgraded Furutaka fires exacly the same...

I hope they are not that daft, we had that "inter server cw test" that had T10 cvs in it (and it was rework cvs) and I remember how it was so I really really pray WG remembers that as well...

IDK I guess it depends on playstyle, if you lose lots of planes ie not shortening the squads and dumping on high AA targets and blobs without slingshots I guess the respawn time is more valueable but if you conserve the planes higher HP make that even easyer

IDK by what stat should he be better? He has what 20% faster service time for planes? 20% of 0 is what? In RTS times sure but today?

19km range, good luck radaring me... I think it still overmatches the deck and still has the stupid armor, glorious battleship of the people of the soviet union laughs at the imperialst propaganda that it was nerfed...

@Spearhawk1969 Of the unique captains in the US branch I think only Ovechkin has anything useful for the reworked CVs the improved SE so IDK if buying a captain for a CV has any sense at all... Credit wise - buy yourself some premium time and wait with the permacamo until you get Midway its unlikely you will ever reach the efficacy of the T10 permacamos with anything other then a true premium ship such as Enterprise or Saipan
