Not all BBs are fit to brawl, in fact some are designed (WGs own words) "To stay at distance" so im afraid that argument doesnt float m8... Some cruisers can (depending on map and MM) have their ideal place even closer to the frontline then brawler BBs, its hard to use radar or do close support to a DD if you are 15+km away... Well my "ideal game" would be the one in which each ship performs the job it was meant to do and was designed for, that OFC inhalts that the driver acctually knows what its ships role is and how to perform it (its a tall order and a lot to ask I know ), you would still lose some matches due to MM unballancing the ships and OFC the enemy just beeing better then you but at least there would be far fewer "roflstomps"

No the keyword is chance, chance that you are in postion to cap solo - meaning that both of these requrements need to be met: 1) enemy is unable to stop you from capping and 2) your teammates (that dont give a flying f* about your needs and want that bit of extra base xp) cant jump on the bandwagon...

Yea solo cap ribbons requirement is one of the "brighter" ideas of late by the mission designer at WG, annoying AF, I did it with Kleber in coop asking the team to let me cap alone each battle and killing off the bots at that cap so I can do it, still took me like 6-7 battles to collect them...

You can make those secondaries fire conq shells at the massa ROF and it would hardly matter as they wont hit a well played DD, esp a Kleber or such...

I know what you mean m8, I actually like to play them (to a degree) as they are new and different, but objectively they dont offer any real advantage over many other lines in a competitive sence...

I just got the Zara yesterday and upgraded her with freexp, have permacamo for her and she is getting sansonetti when I collect him, venezia already has her 19pt and with range module she dosnt need further range boost and although the reload might be handy to have as a perk its not cruicial with 15 8" guns...

Redcap is right, a veteran as such (refering to wows) does not equate loads of ships, also the WG is right in their own way as most those that are veterans of WOWS will have larger fleet and will harvest more from such "snowflake" events... It remains to be seen what amount of doubloons will the boosters cost when the event starts on live and what directives, dailies and T10 ships will drop there in the way of tokens as PTS was not always equal to final in past but if they leave it as it is in general they are basically handing everybody with at least decent level of commitement a free T7 AND a free T10 cruiser and I for one cant say I am not glad to get them in my port...

They are, no doubt about it BUT those SAP shells IMHO are simply not that strong, not strong enough to warrant the reload and range limitations and absence of hydro and dfaa on these ships... Not even after the pen angles buff, not by a long shot they dont... I mean, I said it before and maintain it still - these are in general quite decent cruisers as such BUT they are a challenge, and the challenge is to do some decent and consistent damage in them, since they have to do all the damage with alpha shell damage and an occasional lucky flood and you have to give a LOT of side if ypu want to use all guns in venezia for instance, yes the long reload sort of helps in kiting but with the 25mm extremities and ever increasing number of 30mm overmatching BBs of late that can be a nasty job, the kiting as such is a dying art TBH for that same reason, one lucky shell from an Ohio or Kreml and 1/4 of your health is gone and you didnt even make a mistake... Its easyer for me to do 100k in Smolensk that doesnt pen and just starts RNG fires then to do it in Venezia that pens loads of ships, its just so much more work and for what? What benefit does it bring to the field?

IDK if some people have bugs or divisions influence your scedule or whatnot but from my end the new MM works well and I am bottom tier far less often then before, esp in T8 ships...

Still better then few dozen "restless fire" camos or 100 ramming flags for instance...

@OP if you enter a multiplayer enviroment you should be prepared for interaction with other humans and if you suck or you potatoed (lets be honest here we all do it occasionally) and you are called out for that you should be mature enough to take the criticism or not play multiplayer, IDK where this notion of not saying the truth about sucking to those that suck came from but it should crawl back there

Well in all honesty 15.8km and 16.1 km is hardly much of a difference now is it...

Oh but you are comparing it wrong bro... There is the League at which the club or individual compete and there is selection through time and past results to play in it (we dont really have equivalent in wows really except that you start ranked a bit higher up) Then there is the Cup where past results are basically irrelevant and new qualifiers are played each time so the newly founded club can beat everbody if good enuf (ranked sprint and cb in wows) And we have the Lebron James putting on a hoodie and doing some streetball with his old crew (eq of randoms)

In all honesty I like CV matches in only 2 cases: 1. I am in the CV 2. My divmate is in CV and I am in some long range sniping monster preferenly one that is hard to citbomb In all other cases its not so fun
