What nerf?

You can use slow torps no problem they get less hits then fast ones but still usable, however I usually take the fast and short fish if I have a choice, exceptions are gearing and shima in CB (when I play them) where I use 16km ones but with TA and 12km ones respectively so I can spam the moskva/stalin trenches...

He is right though, you can easily do 150-200k in the Smol and still lose although doing it usually you can keep the star... However to do that you have to stay on distance in early match while there are lots of ships around unspoted that can broadside you, doing that you usually deprive the DDs from neccesary close support and eneure its gonna be a loss at some point in the future, SO the real trick is recognising early which team is hopless and which not, and that is sometimes obvious (basically everything below R10 is hopless by default) and sometimes not...

Did one speshul move in CB when that T8 season was on, there I am in my Kutuzov right in front of B cap at Sea of Fortune approaching from north and I see an enemy Baltimore right across me backing up so I decide to go cap, right at that time second enemy Baltimore and a Vladivostok sail behind the island with me full broadside, radar me and poof

You mean as in say do 200k damage and still lose and like 3 times in a row at that? Oh yes lets not forget the capping and such that also took place but in vain...

Reached R10 in 3 battles, then 36 battles later I am still at R10 with 0 stars...

I mean its not even an official WG metric but some kind of hybrid calculation attempting to quantify something that cant actually be quantified (contribution to victories) and hence failing miserably... If you like the ships buy and play them and if you dont then dont...

Not really interested in any of this years ships TBH if something drops from the free crates ok if not then not...

Well its all guesswork at this point but after 4 years or so of wows I ll take a punt a it... 1) Patch 0.8.11 date 12.12.2019 and it will last till 15.1.2020 2) You will get 100 steel for the T10 ship flake and maybe some tokens/boxes, might be they apply the same to reward and premium T8-9 ships 3) The PR construction dock will have doubloon boosters with increasing cost (cant really guess exact numbers but lets say 1000 - 3000 - 7 000 - 15 000) and the token boosters that will also increase (say 1000 - 5000 - 10 000 - 20 000 - 50 000) and you will need a complete line (one of them) of boosters to reach the PR in time, maybe they will make it so you dont need the last one in the line, who knows... 4) They might add a campaign similar to steel giants only for the Gorizia to take some 2000-3500 steel

I use similar build, difference is I take EL and PM as 1pt and usually BFT as 3pt, going in agressive you will likely die without spending all heals anyway, except for BBs with short reloading HP ofc...

Belive me m8 if you ground that Haku and not free xp-ed the entire line you are instantly already 100% more capable then the average player there...

I dont spec IFHE on any secs TBH, not worth the 4 points IMHO... For full sec IFHE build (AFT, MCSAA & IFHE) it basically means you are driving your BB without CE and FP and prob even wirhout BOS (as you will likely want to go with SI, DE or BFT as the 3 pointer) so you are a sailing tinderbox visible from outer space... And to top it off the sec aim goes for belt (which you wont pen on BBs and CAs anyhow) and for DDs it doesnt matter if you have IFHE as they are penned anyway... And as the last straw - say you sacrificed your vusibility and durabity, you have secs that can pen extremities of a BB, to actually get hits there you have to drive nearly broadside to it with it bow on... Sounds good? Didnt think so...

No it isnt unless you are rising your meme rate, I personally tried it for one and (unless the buffed the zep secs considerabbly of late) its pointless, you just need to sacrifice too many plane buffing skills for it and planes are still your primary weapon system after all...

Its not the matter of harder, its the matter of annoying... Same mission type that say asks to kill 10 german cruisers, mission goes live in 2 hours nobody will drive a german ceuiser and every in a BB will wait for you to bring down the HP and only then fire and be smug about it... If you are ret**d dependent to complete something its bad design

After few battles yesterday I am inclined to alternate between Balansgrad and Kremlin for starters and if that should fail - Midway time I guess, also I will ignore my WR in this mess completely...
