M8 further gold wont be needed, I did the math for myself yesterday, I didnt even know then that token boosters give you fixed point chunks as well you need about 800-900 in boosters and just to make sure I will go for at least 4 token boosters, since I will grind Gorizia as well in the proces its a win win fo me...

Well IDC for free option, got 3 gold boosters and she is more then half finished as she stands, should take me about 2 weeks to finish I guess tops soo I guess I ll have her flake off before New Years Eve

Well to me it sounds awfully close to that, however this discussion is pointless anyway those that get her will get her, those that dont wont and there is nothing more to it...

Its a special event ship, it wont be super uber powerfoul (although it will be strong no doubt) they give an option to get her for freenig you really lean in or much easyer with some money involved... Something we dont have for stalingrad, burgogne, or any other steel ship for that matter, how many seasons of BS in ranked one has to endure to grind steel for them, how many evenings you spend in CB to get steep there (both with unforseable success rate I might add) frankly I dont get why people consider they should get PR free and efortless...

Under the risk of beeing the devils advocate here but you DO have effort free goodies - snowflakes and the stuff that is given to you from the dockyard and dailies, then you have the mission chains that give goodies if you decided to buy Gorizia, then you have the moderate grind to get Gorizia for free and lastly you have the megagrind for the most devoted to get the PR which can be made a helluva easyer if you throw some cash in the mix... The last part is quite like the Benham grind just its no special game mode you have to do it in but your everyday wows, I guess some people will have PR and some/many wont, I already know I will get her finished in time with mix of grind and gold same as I did Benham, as a tradeoff I wont be buying the Santa boxes this year and thats it...

People are overeacting, I mean did someone expect to get a T10 supercruiser for nothing? How long does it take to grind 250k coal or 24k steel by casual play if even possible (steel is hardly obtainable in any casual way)? Have you all already forgoten the Christmas campaigns of old such as the one for DOY for instance?They were grindy as well and many missions were random only with bad tasks in them... I mean lets be honest - yes this is grindy but missions themselves are not hard to do and seems many or all are coop doable as usal in directives of late and hence just a matter of well grinding...

Emmm - no... Might be fun for some future similar releases (if there will even be any similar releasesnin the future) but as a general feature, no... To resource heavy and cumbersome as you often dont grind one ship but many and having xp or evrn unlocking a silver ship doesnt give you the ship, you need to buynut to get it...

Well that would mean you need about 350-400 points per minute of boosters from tokens on average if you buy all 3 doubloon boosters asap but since they wont all be available right away its more like a thousand in total meaning 4-5 token ones...

As far as I understood MrConways response its impossible to outright buy PR, even if you buy all 3 doubloon boosters ASAP you only get to phase 30 (end stage 5) untill the deadline so its not enough to get her... Dobloon boosters can get you 3 stages you get instantly (since you can finish with gold after phase 18) or 5 stages in total if you buy all 3 gold boosters right away and let them tick out... Hence you need to get at least one stage by other means - token boosters... Only question now is how many token boosters you need for that to happen
