No its not, becouse in ops (lets ignore the fact bots are even more braindead in coop for a moment) you get equal number of players each team while in ops you get more bots then players, much more, also you get base xp on a much bigger scale in ops

He meant they are not doable in ops and that is actually a big couse the ops are really really good place to farm some things such as kills, sec hits, fires, cits, various types of xp (narai) and anything cv related

a) He was refering to the secondary hit missions and those are not in 2nd directive b) I played for a better part of the day yesterday and only managed to finish 2 tasks so far (and it bit into my elite camo and flag stash) so either your buddies are godlike players or you are embelishing the truth a bit

Oh I should be able to finish her with gold and token boosters but its stil a sh**show even with 3 gold boosters in place you still HAVE to take at least 3 token boosters... I have a strong suspition that if the event had started at the 16th the 2 token boosters would have been enough but as it stands now (35/36 with 2+3) - they are not anymore... This is really low "tick all boxes" management and I suggest WG rethinks the position the person that thought of this currently has in their company before its too late

Lol even 2 token boosters are not enough, they really toxally f* us with this event, casually postponing the start, adding "only" 15-ish million points extra to grind compared to the PTS... Well done WG, well done indeed I remember when I initally calculated the time I didnt know the token boosters add points as well and the result to finish ship came in the 750 ppm neigborhood sonits easy to see what they did

Play a coop match to take the flake off and if you want to learn cv basics grind or freexp a T6 and go in ops to practice...

I second this, even 75 steel per T10 would be preferable, I for one gave up on getting the T10 I dont have on stock for their flakes (unlike last year) and decided to just run through the T8 (already done for most part) and T9s to harvest the steel and then go for T7 for coal...

1. You a scorpio m8? 2. Yes in general US us best due to having both RF and DB that are effective, also higher tier RN cvs are quite decent as well actually there are ways to improve the hitrate on the dds using the proper tecnique you can delete them basically just as easy as with the US

IMHO it wont hit them esp hard, maybe some PR departement shakeup but not much, this event was clearly never aimed at an average player, this is basically a hardcore players ship with hardcore players level of tasks to get it completely for free, it you are not hardcore enough but still want it they provided the buy in option of varying expense and I see nothing fundamentally flawed in the event mechanic itself... The only real issue for me is lack of transparency on the level of grind (total points needed to get her) and individual tasks as well as ninja nerf the build for a day (thats about 1mil points less with 6 boosters in place for you) which is rude to say least and def unnecesary as they had to know what they have in mind for us to do long before the start

Hmm but the point is surely - why play german BBs then? I mean for sniping and mid range there are better ship lines, for hit&run there are better lines, for close range deletions we have the russians super dispersion... I get it if the German BB line is your only line but if not IDK

If you have the 3 gold boosters in place It shoud be enough to grind first 3 directives and get the corrisponding boosters, you dont have to have Gorizia she just makes the grind od the first 3 directives a bit faster as you can progress on sveral tasks simultaniously

Perth is a good ship BUT London will likely make her obsolete in T6 if she stays as she is, starting from the fact she is RN so part of a large nation over having 8" guns and so on...

Well the gold boosters allow you to finish her in time with 3-4 of the token boosters and grinding the tokens for those is not unrealistic in a months time

Well took me 2 days to finish 1st directive and get the 1st token booster on top of the 3 gold ones I bought, most of the grind was knocking off flakes in coop with some Ranked and Random to mop up... Now 2nd stage wise - I got bunch of flags from crates and the dockyard (it will yield more on the way) as I have the RN tree in regrind for RC I bought KGV yesterday and knocked off his flake, I will stuff him with apropriate flags and camos and those 135k on BBs should take 6-10 matches, after that I will mop it up with normal camos and without flags if needed and buy Monarch for the stage 3 grind as the BB basexp there should be just about the amount I need to unlock the Lion... In parralel some of the other tasks should come along to a degree and I will likekly do the same thing with Fiji-Edinburg for the stages 2-3, secs, kills and cv hits should be farmable in coop to a degree or in ops if aplicable... After that I will see what I farm but 3 token boosters should be enough to get PR anyway just about in time

Yep 8vs8 with Smol infestation and potato cv really makes this ranked speshul, ofc no CC are in outrage about that...

I guess you want some general T6 recomm... London will be good (if not OP) if she stays as she was in testing T61 is a good choice for any DD main BB wise in T6, well nothing really but Arizona might give most bang for buck

If you want the flanking role you will need that range, you want to be able to launch from 8-9 km and still have option to reach target if they turn out, 1-2 hits is still better then 0 hits if the torps run out right before the target... TA is 2 pt skill

Why is T9 more fun? Simple - I have Benham... No serously that ship is hilarious and I dont play her as much as she deserves... As for PA YY still has its place in CB couse of radar IMO, since I got Black the Chung is parked though as she doesnt really have much point, yes the torps are slow on Black even with TA but they are devastating when they hit and they hit dds as well...

If you primarily go for cap contesting take the photons (8km + TA) couse you will mostly torp other dds so you want to cut their reaction time as much as possible and it will be torping in knife fight ranges anyway, if you primarily go for spot & spam on flanks take the 12km option (without TA BTW) same goes for shima in Randoms
