She can still perfom, esp in Randoms where you dont HAVE TO accept a hard trade if you dont want to, build her for agility and stay at the range you can angle and doge most of it, use HE when needed like on any other boat that doesnt have overmatch vs its targets... However if you are looking for a reason to prioritise her over some other cruisers you might get for that role for free - there is none tbh For comp she can be a nice meat shield with a radar if thats what your teams setup needs

Well it largely depends on your personal preferences m8 Broadly I d say: IJN - CLs that are about to come might be interesting, BBs are also fine all BBs in it bar Kawachi are fun to play nowadays (Izumo used to be a lemon but not anymore for a long time) USN - TBH unless you are hardcore fan prob nothing, if you want a high tier US CA get the Salem, her superheal makes her way better then Desmo, Vermont line is trash imo, IDK if recent buffs made her sufficiently better... USR and KM - trash MN - CC line ending in Marseille is an aquired taste, if you like a long burning mega CA/CC that hit hard when farming broadsides go for it, ie if you like JB play thats an indication u might like them... RN - BC line is meh IMHO, yes they are fast and thats about it, unless you are a hardcore G3 and derivatives fan no point in going past the Tiger or Renown if you want collectibles, T8-10 are ok at starting fires but so are the main line BBs even more so actually RM - Colombo is 2 inaccurate for my taste, not even 16 barrels can take up the slack of that dispersion and sigma... Regolo might be ok if you like that kind of play (hit and run) but honestly she aint nothing to write home about and the Alvaro makes a better job of that PA - YY got much needed torp buff but IDK if she is truly worth it, her being unable to really engage other DDs directly hinders her utility, if you go for LU and radar it is better but then why not take something even better at gunboating or hybrid play with a heal like say Daring EU - Halland is fun and can be strong in right hands but low damage per hit makes her a DOT machine not a striker, you need to live till the end and realise you wont be dong many yolo runs if at all Duch - not worth past T4 as a collectible imo, I really want to like them but they just payed 2 steep a price for that airstrike that is most of the time usless and the inability to counter subs in any way makes them even more of a joke

BTW I dont mean it as a jibe m8 If you need it for purely decorative purposes pretty much any cheap chinese decorative blade will do nicely, if you want a better wrapping and fittings you can order one from many a mass maker with plenty of options to choose from both in carbon steel and stainless with lasered hamon as well as some with a real one even though 1030/1045 steels they usually use are meh for serious use they are fine for display and even light iaido practice, some might even survive a bit of tamashigiri or garden bottle chopping… If you practice proper tamashigiri on a entry or even intermediate level a monolithic blade with standard treatment made of decent spring steel is prob the best choice as its more forgiving of beginner mistakes, they cut well with occasional retuch of the edge as needbe even if decoratively they are hardly a looker… Now “handmade” as in hand forged using traditional heat treatment or even more made with proper tamahagane, well that is an expensive toy, I might even say pointless today unless its an actuall antique which are scarce and lot of counterfits are floating around, you would be best served by going through an auction house that has proper paperwork, very few experts are able to actually distingish a modern properly done forgery from an original blade on sight as most of those were at one point or another refitted by former owners unless they were an exeptionally preserved family heirloom and finding those is even harder, takes good knowlege of maker marks and finer points of make to recognise the real deal… Also if you want one for iaido I suggest you focus more on the size and mass of the blade then material or forging technique, you should also not start doing that with a sharp blade and a proper iaito is a best option to start practicing with as its cheap and safe to use

Patrie IMHO is meh to crap level, compared to the original 2 super bbs its well T9&1/2 material, no special ability, no overmatch vs other bbs not even a good reload and in the meanwhile she is overmatched by other super bbs and even some T10s, I gave her a try and sold her, she holds no interest for me in her current state

Ops are way better then PvP now IMHO, the problem is they locked even that to make everybody play that dumb as f Transilyvania stuff a month ahead of haloween…
