My point is I know very well how she performs after the buff (as well as before) and while its better then before the armor buff she is still fragile and (as most T8 cruisers) when she takes damage it sticks, one mistake and the fight is over for you even if you survive you will be useless, OFC said fact (not having a heal) doesnt prevent you from being "befriended" most of the time by the T9/10 BBs that (still) overmatch you wherever they hit and hit you will be because no agility will be enough to dodge hail of BB shells from 14 km for long

Played her the other day Yep, I was thinking exactly the same thing, also I have Lutiens and while getting 140 hits in Hindi is doable but takes some time and is far from a given, doing 140 hits in Mainz wont be an issue at all as she spits out shells like crazy... BTW IDK if anyone else noticed but her "SOON" watermark was removed in the extended tree mod view so maybe she is due soon, perhaps even this update...

Meh, Mogami is and always was a nice cruiser, now that she has basically heavy cruiser plate she is even nicer but she still suffers from the lack of heal horribly...

IDK I play all BBs pretty much the same, try to farm broadsides and if needed overmatchable plate, only fire HE if you cant pen with AP or you absolutely need to start fires or have the damage ticking on target and secondaries are not an option...

I wouldnt take TA on any ship that doesnt have at least 10 km range with TA taken, so on fubu? No... Those 9.6km on Shima/Yugu are a border case, I still wouldnt but I could live with it if I had to (shared cap or something) The new extra torp speed module in slot 3 and thats it... Gearing 16km, Shima 20km and Ashasio yes Halland - probably could be used, is there a need for that IDK, maybe more to shorten the range for randoms and less for the speed gain as such

Well 2 things though... 1) Hitting a Stalin or similar large cruiser is still much easier then hitting a smaller and nimbler cruiser esp if the said is in smoke 2) Radars is still 12 km as it was before and there were no 6xStalin radar all and shoot them to bits while deploying before so why would there be now? I mean I played a fair bit of Stalin in CB and she is nowhere near that good at fast eliminating people if they are not really speshul ones to give broadside, she doesnt overmatch other cruisers (esp after the armor rework) and her HE DPM is pathetic, only thing really going for her is the devastating pen at range and some resistance to HE, HP advantage is completely moot if you are burned down as you burn by percent... Additionally most CVs are no where near your level

Somehow I seriously doubt that, their "hurr durr we go all XYZ and murder all" meta announcements somehow never make it out of the meme department... DDs are pretty dead as a pick though, not to mention a BB apart maybe a super fast ones like Burgogne or Republic that might provide some mileage to clans that cant field a CV setup by rapid flanking the CV if he is not good enough...

I actually didnt have IFHE before but now after the new CB season has been announced I put it on her as it seems the CLs will have more role since CV will replace BB and while useless against BB pen wise Smol guns can pen other cruisers quite nicely with it

No way, 99/100 cases I see the incoming shells as I have enemy on the one side of boat... I usually use PM btw

Well the last bastion of sanity is gone it seems, f it, respec all spare 19pt caps in relevant nations to 0 and prepare to run AA builds, for what good it will do... Seems woosters and minos might become a thing again

Traffic lights are only usefoul for head on target on which you cant see the smoke direction, but also they are not completely infallable as the 1/4-back see-saw can throw them off as well, overall i d say the mini navigator is of limited use if you play a lot for hit n run to maximise the salvos effects, live icons are usefoul esp for DDs as they give you last spoted HP of ships so you kinda know what your conterpart has to work with, nomogram is usefoul if you shoot a lot in the open for faster aiming as shooting over hills tends to trow it off (the nomogram slides by the distance to where the aim recticle is) all other mods (we are talking modstation here) are qol or purrly cosmetic

Dont forget she has a heal, at T5 no other DD enjoys that privilige though...
