Dude whatever, if you think it is a good game design for a sub to be able to turn and outrun a DD that goes after her while she is few km away at the moment of chase only thing I can say is hope you enjoy the gameplay vs bots… Oh btw concealment of the DD doesnt really matter if you are trying to catch up with the damn thing, you will be spotted one way or the other at some point before you catch it… And yes cleary what WG had in mind is - go somewhere else where the sub is not or get griefed by it, its their new piggy bank class after all

Funny that you mention this… Do you know which DD I was in? Take a guess… :D Hint: She has heal, ap rounds only and fires really fast also he was less then 4km from me in cap when I went after him and I couldnt catch up…

Yeah, just that they forgot to disclose what exactly is meant to hunt down a 35+ kt moving sub going opposite direction at full pelt even if she happens to be spotted at all since most non dds dont even come close to that speed let alone have enough speed overhead to catch up to her in the open before getting into the red team focus range…

You mean chasing after you in a DD? I know… What was I thinking by trying to counter a sub with a destroyer? Clearly DDs are not meant to hunt and kill Subs…

I meant in general ergo for coal ofc, no f way I am giving more then 100€ for a single ship but we do have supertesters and other folks that might have privileged access here so…

I do play - for now as the chance of smacking the griefer is higher then being succesfully griefed, but I also had the pleasure to play against good sub players and even our dear Yosinai here so I know how impossible to counter they are even if one can actually catch them in the act… Should the level of average sub players rise to a degree that makes countering them unlikely in most matchess one plays there are only a few oprions, one can a) leave the game altogether, b) not play the modes/tiers containing them at all or c) leave the match for another that maybe wont have them in it… I suppose that given WG “rules” one can yolo and die if one prefers to be safe from potential pink status or whatever else WG would choose to do but at that point should anyone even care? Well WG has to make the signals “worth something” for us, so they need to be rare, this way they can claim its ok for a 5€ crate to drop 5 combat signals with 70% chance and by their “internal value system” thats a super prize, 2 bad for them that their system doesnt really align with the value system most players use called common sense

And most of us “anti-sub trolls” dont expect the griefers that advocate “gentelmenly enduring” their griefing to accept that people are not interested in that experience… As for the question why we still play - there is still not enough of you out there to be able to present a constant, we hope for a match without you around or at least with the inept kind of you that we can get rid of easily, once you become prevalent you will be free to sink the bots

As I mentioned before on some other topics, the 40% bonuses are cr*p, one can just as well sell the 20% ones or maybe use them in coop for all they are worth, WG is getting really really GREEDY, the Supership situation only demonstrates this

Actually it just dawned on me that T4 and below are sub free and even T5 might be bearable enough to farm needed missions and the likes as it wont see T6 subs more then half of the time anyway and most griefers will go T10+ asap as well…

I still have enough fun in the game esp in modes not having griefer classes in them, not thats your buisness, you dont decide when I will leave and for what reason either

Well answering griefing with griefing is imo justified, current sub populus is on average still inept enough to warrant an attempt to kill them, if they stop being such I will leave the matchess containing them (after parking my boat in some distant corner) as well, few good players i met are basically uncountrtable for a surface ship

I still dont get it tbh, i usually set the autopilot on the countdown then return when I deem my ship is in the vincinity of the point I need to take over and/or shoot, esp in coop when farming sec ribbons and likes, never once was I flagged by the system unless I came in 2 late and got sunk doing nothing (happened few times) but its a correct flag then… And I usually use win key to get out and work on the same screen even though i have a tv connected as well with extended desktop setting
