Yeah... I hate this kind of "politically correct" BS promotion Like OK few things to consider here... First they nerfed the primary guns and stressed the secondary guns, clearly intending to market Odin as sec spec BB and yes sec spec BBs ARE fun, sure they are WHEN THEY WORK, aaaand in high tiers thats like once in 10 matches if you are really really good with them, once in 30 if you are not so good and once in 100 if you are an average high tier potato (TM) AND thats with an average in tier BB that has 50% more HP then Odin does... I mean like serouosly... You can count yourself lucky if you plink 20k direct damage with secs form that famous BB you will brawl, thats ONE half decent salvo from the main guns, ONE, maybe two if you are far off and you wont lose half your HP permanently doing those one or two salvos... Not to even getting started on torps issue, those actually being used in real combat against humans is even rarer, then secs couse you know what is the frist thing I will shoot when I see Tirpitz turning out n front of me? Thats right - the torps... This sacrificing main gun performance couse "muh you have secs and torps" is pure BS on WG part, it just DOES NOT WORK, PERIOD! People buy those ships precisely because they see the videos such as the one above and think hey this is fun and then they get farmed, hard, and after that we all get farmed because we are down 3 bbs...

Well Zoup has the classical IF AND IF AND IF AND IF argument... Its hard to beat that... IE IF you are TOP TIER AND IF the enemy BB is more or less alone AND IF you are not really alone AND IF you manage not to eat a devstrike AND IF you didnt lose that much HP beforehand you will have a fun fight... Yea... NO sh**

I vote they finally give us the option to sell all the permanent camos for 50% doubloon value and for reward camos some credit value if the dont want to give us doubloons

Not entirely, they removed it from US ships, Chapa always maintained that capability even though she is of questionable utility in that role

Yeah this season is poor, before we kinda had a steady core team to rely on assembling quite regurarly but few weeks into this season many just lost interest in cb altogether and most nights we cant field even one team

I dont mind the ship beeing a napkin drawing esp at T10 as list of real ships there makes for a short reading but what we saw from shikiriki is not worth that steel

I dont think many of those with that much steel will waste it on this, I d rather have the steel camo for yama ffs

Well subs at least (even if they do operate at a separate layer) have a potential to bevalanced, they have 2 classes (dds and cls) that hard counter them as only one good depth charge pass WILL obliterate them from full health AND they can fight and counter each other on their layer to an effect (similar to how RTS CVs did) so its not AS bad as CV situation, if they adress the "nuclear sub syndrome" (staying submerged indefinetly and having ridiculous speeds to boot) and "tiptoing immunity depths" they could be an asset to the game

You are likely correct but we do need to see it in practice, sometimes the sum of parts is more then you would expect (sometimes its opposite as well ofc) for instance Sharnhorst would bee deemed utter garbage even by the standard of her release time if you would judge her solely by guns and thinnest part of her plate as compared to her counterparts but she is not such a bad overall package IMHO and only limited sec range prevents her from beeing truly magnificent

Well it remains to be seen how it works out, on paper it looks bleak but 32mm plate + turtleback and icebreaker + fact 2/3 of your guns are forward and you dont need to broadside as much do have possible implications... I do expect at some point she will get a HP buff in 5-6k range though

Base xp is actually pretty decent mark even though it has its drawbacks its hard to really quantify contribution, say a dd takes out 2 enemy dds before dying and he does 25k damage doing it, he likely contibuted to the win far more then a bb doing 250k while taking out 2 enemy bbs... I am a rcruiter in our clan and when I evaluate a prospect I take a look at stats but also take the guy in div to see how they approach the battle and how they react to certain situations it tells a much better story then pure nimbers, farmimg damage is not hard if thats all you are after

TBH I like them and they are scarce enough to not really be an issue as WG hands them out much less then before, not so long ago a couple of event crates from shop or arsenal would likely leave you with hundreds but now if you get few dozen you are lucky

Its understandable, esp if you didnt play this game before, I once thougjt just like you and still dont really play MMO games except for this one, you should join in a clan or at least div up with guys that can show you the ropes it will be a much better experience

This exact form of split with ship/s going to premium/reward category after split didnt happen in WOWS before (maybe at very early game stages like alpha/beta but not since) so there is no real precedence for it really... That said we do get free reward ship, for those that had good luck in boxes a free Peteopavlovsk camo might be considered a compensation for the purchased Moskva camo (I will likely get it for instance) and most guys dont have prem moskva camo anyways, on other notion I have some 250k on donkey as she stands and even if I hadnt I like donkey she is a good kiting cruiser even if she can be a tad boring at times

TBH an average T8 prem bb user nowadays is so bad that any truly average player (as stat sites define it) will stomp them into the ground with most T7 and quite a number of T6 BBs, even a few T5 actually

IDK if its even the most of matches or not but best anti snowballing is not having mostly m**ons in your team that dont even attempt to play for the win or do anything really... In WOWS and esp high tiers most players fall into two broad categories: One - they have basically no clue either because they just dont give a f or they rushed the tiers / bought their way into high tiers before they had the grasp of basics Two - guys who kinda know some basics but keep their distance and camp out the match Now both these groups are at fault for the snowballing EQUALLY and only thing stopping them from doing it is if there are not enoughof them in your team to stop you from carrying, the former group deprives you of ships and points and the latter of map presence and control, both are equally detrimental for the team Thats why a 3 man div has so much influence, thats why you need to bust your ch**s to get a decent wr...

You know what I belive you, when you think about an average prem T8 BB user nowadays its hard not to overperform in any ship if you know which side of the gun shells are coming from...

Much more enjoyable when you have a proper tool...
