TBH I basically only play surface ships in that mode, I just want to puke when I see that 100+ sub number and think I might be waiting in it... I mean I did play few battles in subs but seriously...

You retain it on the ship you earned it on, only statos of ship itself changes and you wont be able to swich caps without retraining on them

Yeah, you need someone with long fish to flush the smoke out so the BBs can pop the cruiser, I mean you can go in and drop them but its risky and likely wont end well, you can sometimes use islands as cover to approach but then again Jervis is not fast nor has an engine boost so its not really rushing material

Yes I know what you mean and the answer is - you dont, plain and simple, been there done that, Jervis is precisely the way ahe is because of balance reasons, if a Belfast and 2 dds park their bu**s in say far end of the cap that has some island cover trading smokes you cant do sh**, litterally, they will know if you entet it and either radar you or the dd will dart out to spot you and then whole team will focus you anf either kill you or maim you so much you become useless for the remainder of the match, you cant spot them from far couse of smoke and even your BBs cant push im because of torp walls and enemy BBs parked behind the islands... Thats why it is important to be agressive early and take caps, thats why you lose every time you get a 10-liner in your team - map and cap control... Only way to break that tie is a double shira trb dump into the smoke really...

No way WG will go back on the CV in CB, they got exactly what they wanted from it - shaking up the meta completely as the lack of any reaction to the complaints clearly shows, sure we might skip them for a season if its odd tiered one but other then that they plan for them to stay, besides what better way to sell new CV lines, prem T10 CVs and Subs (as natural counter since CV can literally do sh** against a submerged sub) and after that the road is open to "support CVs" with ASW etc...

You dont need to kill 6 of the 7 ships, you need to kill 1 or 2, slowballing effect does the rest, as for mixed tier I agree

T6 despite beeing an interesting choice, as a CB tier has an issue of cruisers (in general) not having heal while BBs already get really nasty guns, it would soon likely degenerate into a scaled down version of the T8 season we had a while back with BB and DD setups dumping on everything + as its lower tier they would likely (again as we had with T8) substantially cut the steel allowance so even fewer players would bother with beeing in attendance... T9 however would not and there would be no CVs

Well we could find examples of broken or op ships on most if not all tiers, some premiums and some silver not to mention cvs, we wouldnt play anything at that rate

Yes concealment even with cv around, which is not in every match esp not in high tiers, besides while you can consider Stalin sort of BB-ish, Moskva is not

They beat Moskva for a very simple reason - concealment, in this game this is your most important weapon for dictating engagement

Will get for free as she was my first or second T10 cruiser but she is basically obsolete, Riga is already a better ship, Petro makes her completely null and void and Venezia and Goliath penning her decks makes the whole situation just sad, hence getting her for free is exactly the price she is worth

Well should it devolve in the usual BB/CV mess that aint a bad call actually BUT the issue is that T8 already has some really nasty DD killing DDs AND proper radar... Le Fantasque or Akizuki for instance will ruin your day, Ochakov as well, Orkan can really be nasty too

Ever heard of Kutuzov? On other notion I will play Enterprise and likely Massa, maybe some Bagration and Kutuzov occasionally and throw in some Vlad or Monarch if I dont re-gring through them by then... Actually maybe I am lucky and get the german T8 CV in early access or that WH40k Amagi, that might be interesting as well

Well when you come to think of it this actually fits really good

1. Find an island reasonably near one of caps that is just low enough so you can lob shells over it and high enough reds dont see you doing it 2. Make it your waifu 3. When you see the cap is going red/is blocked say in chat "gona use radar on cap XYZ in 10s" pop radar and shoot the dd if you can, if not dont leave cover 4. Stay angled as much as you can 5. Rinse and repeat
