Not quite IRL AP shells are armed by deceleration, thats basically the only way as the detonator is in the back of the shell so if suffitient deceleration is produced by the surface it impacts it arms, if not it doesnt so its not always easy to predict what will activate it and what wont, I guess game uses some way to emulate this

Well if you balance the CL to be +2 worthy then it will defecate on -2 ships in turn horribly, the 5 tier spread MM is one of the things that generates issues in WOWS, nothing new in that...

And which DD is hunting CLs? I mean same tier here... Sure, there are few DDs that can do it in a pinch and/if player in the DD is much better or CLs is low on health but otherwise DD is gonna buy it every time...

I m not sure multi tiering in 7vs7 would work, just imagine say 2 T10 bbs vs 5 tier 8 ships... Or a T10 cv...

Agreed, yesterday I was re-grinding RU BB line on T3/4 (same was/is true on every tier but this is an example) and in one battle I came across 3 kevins in a row firing only HE on me, even when I was broadside to them while passing by... Do I even need to point out they all died?

For silver line: PM or EL-EM/AR-SI/BOS-CE/FP MAM1-DCSM1-APRM1-DCSM2-CSM1-APRM2 or MBM3 dependind if you want more accuracy or more DPM For Mass/Georgia/Ohio: PM/EL - EM or AR-SI-CE/AFT/FP AAM1-DCSM1-SBM1-DCSM2-CSM1-and again min guns depending on preference

Probably not AP bombs (here rockets as well) are always harder to use effectively then HE ordnance, thy do yield more carry potential though if used to effect

BBs are not the only class carrying AP shells you know, those cruisers that get overpened all time by any BB shell often take some DD AP nicely in a driveby and can easily die from it, something DD has no chance in hell doing with HE

Well because a well aimed AP shell can do 10x the damage of her counterpart in some cases? Not to mention that HE damage can be healed quite nicely while cits not so much
