Which is kinda true for most ships aside CVs and few DDs?

Not quite, as some are not meant (nor do they usually) to operate as flankers in open water, others are smaller, nimbler and with better stealth, some others again have 160mm inner belt behind their outer one unlike henri... OFC other CAs suffer the same but in my experience actually less accutely then poor henri

TBH I used to play Henri quite a lot in both CB and Ranked BUT what made me sort of abandon her (and this started before the infamous acceleration nerf) of late is the fact she got blapped by overmatching BB guns more and more, reason for that is ever more and more 17-18" gunned up BBs you meet on regular basis, I was always more for turning in or out to dodge salvos then speed juking them so the engine nerf wasnt even something all that relevant in that regard it was just an additional annoyance on top of the Kremlins, Ohios, Georgias, Thunderers amd the like getting more and more prevalent in matches renderining your armor largely useless... She can still do damage, I mean ofc she can its just that other ships that suffer less are around and (relatively) easily awailable so why gimp yourself...

Wut? In last CB seson an average Venezia play was sit 16+ km away, fire SAP at anything spoted by your CV and if shot back use double rudder and tight turning to juke shells, if you start to take to much heat just smoke up and kite away until they lose you and return healed after 2 minutes... You will hardly have super accurate aiming with 15 guns from 16+ km now will you... Its like one of the most re**rd proof ships around and thats exaclty where the problem lies, its just HE spam with huge alpha per shell and without fires and there is no real counterplay to it, you can basically only run away and thats it...

Good old times are a myth, just to throw few names from "ye good ol times" your way - Gremyashy, Kamikaze, Nikolai, Belfast, Kutuzov, Giulio Caesare, not to mention "corrected slip ups" such as railgun Murmansk, exterminatior Zepelin, immortal T9 fighter Saipan etc

I just use this sprint to have some fun in ships I dont play so much and my new T8s i got recently and grind a bit of Hsieyang in the meantime... Cruisers are as per usual a dubious choice...

Which is exactly what many called out on, I remember we had a topic and we both posted in it and said that rework doesnt nor can it actually decrease the skill gap as its produced by well - skill, only thing it could do is "hard reset" the players so they need to learn new controls, so what it did is temporarily made an appearance as if it actually did something, after people adapted to new controls and tactics its right back where we started, or even worse...

Well it will basically look like Alsace or Normandie, so any poor soul sailing it will hit with 2 of 12 shells every 30s or so doing few K damage average per volley and pray some mo** comes into torp range...

Maybe the damage for air dropped ordnance should be percentual? Say 1% per rocket hit, 5% per bomb hit and 10% per torp hit of CURRENT target HP in the compartment that is hit, but it should have a minimum damage cap say 100 or 200 HP damage on the hit compartment so its not infinetly decreasing amount of damage or ie impossible to kill the target...
