I suspect these BBs are meant as "central position play" BBs only thing remaining is to see if they actually work in that role or not, for Instance Colorado does, Ncal kinda, Iowa is however very poor in it...

Disengaging from a brawl in high tiers nowadays is IMHO basically impossible in any ship, only way to actually do it is if either BOTH of you choose to do it at the same time AND you are insanely lucky that there are no other enemies in the shooting range with LOF to you couse they will usually roast you alive long before you reach the cover or distance to go dark... Occasionally you can use some island cover to do it but usually at a heavy price, brawl is most of the time "all in" situation I think we can be certain there will be some serious changes to these ships during testing, the only question is how they will do it, by adding speed, adding secs or increasing accuracy...

No you see top clans have top players, they are all decent in CVs if not more then decent, they just dont like CVs and what they bring to the table, however observing how WG handles customer relations, feedback and general game development doesnt yield much hope in success of the said boycott... IMO if its successful and CB become less popular then WG deems viable they will just shut them down and make something else, probably in the line of asymmetric battles, arms race or some other similar nonsense...

I would argue that you should just exclude ALL premium and T1-5 ships, sort the list and call it a day... solo ofc That would drop the sealclubbing statpadders esp the Kamikazes, the Gremyashis, the Hoshos etc as well as Stalingrads, Belfasts etc...

TBH To me Sommers is scre**d by the CV in CB story, thats her main flaw and IDK if you can seriously count on getting proper mileage from her couse of that, I dont have her but several guys in clan have one and thats about what they are saying, in the last CV infested season nobody played her

I am not forgetting it, I specifically said that BACK THEN she had her speed as a selling point, nowadays though she needs something changed to be interesting, as she stands there is little reason to buy her so making bunch of premiums "like her" would be a total flop

And where is the fun in driving a generic shotgun that gets ovematched through the nose by half the BBs she meets while not returning the favor to many, she has bad main guns, poor accuracy, badly positioned secondaries that are nothing special anyhow, she is weakly armored, her only redeeming feature is speed and fact she is premium, back then when she was by far the fastest BB in T6 that fact had some actually merit, now however that is moot, I for instance cant think of ANY situation in which I am in Ismael or PEF or Normandie and say to myself - boy I wish I was in Dunq right now... She is just a generic BB, with no really special features, had I not have had her from times long gone I would never buy her today, for her to be interesting with current soft stats she would need engine boost or reload boost or both

And reason why anybody would want them after that is...???

Spee was meh when she came in the game 4 years ago as a Christmas campaign reward ship, she was just about balanced, now she is barely usable, reload is 2 long for what she gives in shell power and accuracy and plate is 2 thin to make her brawling cruiser, healing does little as you just get citblapped to death all the time and she lacks both range and accuracy for sniping

That ship has long sailed, especially for competitive play, WG made sure everybody wants the supercruisers they are churning out for steel/coal/RB and occasionally they add a 32+ deck on a cruiser to make you immune to blapping (to a degree at least) but there are already so many overmatching guns out there it doesnt really matter anymore

Dont know about tankier in all or nothing armor scheme but gun wise unless its 430+ mm its pointless from overmatch perspective as you dont cross any thresholds and few k AP (even per shell) damage more per shell means nothing really
