TBH I dont agree, 460 mm couse of the overpens and slow turrets yes, but Ohio and Kremlin are excellent cruiser killers, they overmatch the now prevalent up to 30mm plating and punish both kiters and island huggers very hard and Ohio has pretty "plungy" shells so she can even smack broadsides pretty decently too...

SAP was likely main culprit although smoke probably didnt help either... They should IMO: Make it T9 Keep SAP Make it with 27/30 plate Heal and smoke interchange in same slot Low dispersion but high sigma and longer reload Then test it out That way the Littorio-ish design with 16" can be a techtree T9 ship and 15" with changed stats a premium

Increasingly powerfoul lines are a buff to said class as it gets stronger and stronger compared to other classes, for instance when french cruisers got their MBRB and US CL line was added cruisers as a class got dusproportinatly stronger vs DDs and even BBs and CVs, we are talking a team setup where you get a given number od ships if they are indivudually stronger then before because ships are stronger then they were before the balance is upset... Then we have direct buffs such as adition of heal to T8 RU DDs for instance, buffs to pen on IJN gunboats, indirect buffs to RN hightier DDs due to pen/ifhe changes etc... Ofc other stuff got buffs as well...

Tbh DDs as a class are getting buff after buff of late but are also its own greatest enemy today as WG is powecreeping the previous lines with new ones quite badly esp for DD vs DD intetactions, the last three lines introduced (rn, french and last paneuro) literally raise the bar higher and higher every time, you will rarely get scre**d by a cruiser unless you potato badly as most cruisers nowadays stay far back what will f**k you up will be the Kleber with RPF you cant outrun or outgun, or Daring just kucking everything out from cap with hydro, torps and insane dakka or Halland spamming photon torpedoes and then moving in with dakka to finish the job, those two just heal away the damage they took and move on... As for CVs in CB, yea...

Iowa is trash, I have reground US BB line last couple of weeks and it went fine untill I hit that garbage trawl at T9, Ncal at T8 irritated me a bit with slow shells but when I got used to it a bit it wasnt so bad but Iowa, omfg... Just push through untill you get to Montana, same guns but 3 extra barrels make a lot of difference... In a general sense you need to prey for broadsided ships at mid ranges, only shoot angeled targets when you know you will overnatch...

Nice post and had I not seen hundreds and maybe even thousands of matchess that went sour (either way) for the team in which NOBODY went forward to spot "waiting the other guy to do it" and all caps went to the other team up untill a point desperate moves had to come in play (or just lost in points not even trying to do anything) I would concur with you, but as it stands I just cant, barring a presence of a cv somebody has to be in the front, ideally it will be a dd that can disingage however that is not a given (no dds in that flank, dead early on, no dds at all etc) so in that situation one has to take the risk or watch the certain loss happening... We are talking randoms here, not competitive in which one team got an early kill or earlier cap and now sits on their point advantage...

Except this game cant really decide if it wants you to broadside or sail angled... I mean not that you have much of a choice if you spawn mid map in a flanking ship for instance, I mean if you want to arrive where you have to be before the battle is over... Another example is you push in and meet an overwhealming push, what will you do? Sail in and die in a blaze if glory? Reverse at 10kt while they are coming in at 30kt? Or turn in front if them and be broadsiding potato? I see smarta** guys often some CCs as well rip on guys while they are sitting 20km behind and let the other teamates take the beating while they farm damage being smug, all fine except for starters they would farm squat if they didnt have spotted targets and those targets are oftrn only spoted because they are shooting an ally...

So according to this... THIS should not be possible right? Seems tho it still kinda is...

That would be much to ask but every 3 months fkr a week combined with 35 xp pet doubloon conversion and module demount for 5 gold would make life much easier for many guys progressing, also techtree ship and line permaflage discounts connected with some dates important for the navy in question...

We used to have one before/after CB seasons now they are gone, I have some caps to recycle as well but it seems we wont get one at least until the anniversary, good thing I have a steady flow of elite cap xp...

I had one against me the other day, she sailed full broadside to Tirp next to me any myself for like 3 minutes and I just couldnt get a cit on her from like 10 km away, and I was in the f* Siegfried that can slam through a BB armor at those ranges... We had to peck her to death full broadside with BB guns ffs... Petropaperovsk us just "muh no russian bias" made flesh...

I suggest you grind ALL lines until you unlock T7 in them, then take the ones you like best further, of the two suggested I would go US you will learn more about BB play with them

Usually overextending sometimes its my own fault and sometimes I still get caught by surprise by the level of speshulness I get on my flank...

Well Nurn is better thats why its a tier higer after all but as T5 CLs go she is not worse off then others survival wise... @DFens_666 well its a part personal preference as well, also GC has insane dispersion for a BB and sge easily blaps every cruiser

The drop chance in prem crates is prob around 10-15% and in normal ones way less prob 2-3% but it would take a big sample to calculate

IMHO best T5 CL is Konigsberg and only silver T5 CL I consider a keeper, before the reload nerf Bertin was nice but now she was neutered... Of all Omaha sisters I guess I like Murmansk the most but she is still way worse then KM option

Having good (or bad) stats doesnt mean one has more (or less) right to call out stupidity when one sees it...
