Actually the sale part of this event is a travesty, ONLY two things that IMHO actually make sense as option are either 1) get some free tokens IF and ONLY IF you are buying something you would have bought anyhow (even if the "sale" wasnt happening) OR 2) go in full gamble, buy few tokens and toss for a lootbox and see what drops for few quid...

Ranked should get the scoring system of the CB (including the base xp system) only with achievments enabeled, that would stop the backline farming bs... 4 leagues 20-16, 15-11, 10-6, 5-1 Irrevocable ranks are 16, 11, 6 Win or die trying if you want to proceede

No, I dont find this a good idea, first you play one league/tier, play through struggle and you start near bottom of next league, now there you need to get used to completely new ships and maybe tactics (say odd vs even tier already brings cvs and absence thereoff) before you drop back out... And thats even before we start to consider how not all people keep lower tiers handy, captains, respecs etc...

As I said this aint a sale, tommorow is my joining anniversary, should I get a coupon I might buy something I would buy normally with said coupon and if it gives some extra stuff fine even if its just a toss for random loot but buying into gambling lootbox with tokens aint a sale, a free lottery ticket you get with say 50€ spent on petrol station is not called a sale ffs

The changes are obviously meant to cover two things: 1. Give more point to US CVs as their DBs are now the only way to do spot and (effective) strike in one pass 2. Prevent plane sniping and first pass shredding of planes by some ships as now you can either torn off/recall planes before AA spins up...

30mm overmatching BBs that are getting pumped into the game are killing high tier cruiser play, apart from few notable exceptions amount of effort needed to do some meaningfoul damage in a cruiser compared to even the flimsiest BB (that includes some of the "supercruisers" as well) is ridiculous, in past times you played through the misery of mid tier cruisers in which you died by beeing looked at sternly, outgunned by half the DDs in your tiers and outspotted by all so you can get derped by the BBs , you endured all that for the T9 and 10 cruisers that had the punch and the heal so you could mitigate the chipping damage or even a mistake or two, nowadys however it doesnt matter as for majority of cruisers their armor is usless against half of the enemy teams bbs even when angled...

Doesnt matter how much off it is, its the principle, in my book sale means several articles in a store (or all of them) are offered at a discounted price compered to standard price, it does not involve a luck of any kind that goes past getting one before they are all gone...
