Ranked out yesterday, 60-something % WR most losses were while I was stubornly trying to regrind Buffalo but after I gave up on that the 100% WR Musa and 77% WR Pommern made short work of the sprint...

In this mode thats pretty useless tactic, you will on average have 2 BBs per side burning them down takes far 2 long even with a cruiser let alone Friesland

For all the ships marketed as brawlers for that matter...

Dev strikes and Just a flesh wound are pretty easy to farm in torp DDs, First blood is prob next easiest if you go for it, the attrition ones such as High Caliber, Confederate etc are harder to do but not that hard to farm as to be out of scope within a week of normal Random playing, the resilience stuff such as Fireproof and Dreadnought can be done in BBs if you are carefoul to escape at the right time and let the fire burn in a safe way although they come by themselves anyway if you play a tanking role in a BB

I was saying the Friesland was widely considered to be useless trash when it came out (many cautioned against that for the very reason you now brought up) and with time it seems the perception has changed besides the powercreep is the very reason why she has 1.6s reload that can demolish most hybrid DDs before they have time to say "oh $hit" only chance to win in a hybrid is to land torp on her and if the Fries player pays attention that will be pretty hard to do...

Yes (or none for that matter) but then there would be far less T4 CV battles, hence far less CV battles overall and then some might start questioning the results of the rework...

Pretty much this, one can make her work but why bother? For instance the Pommern offers the same brawling style but you dont need to tread on eggs with her...

Yea, no $hit? You CAN win? Any of us CAN win, however by gimping ourselves we are not making it eaisier and you WILL win WAY more often if you pick a brawling ship... I mean there is nothing bad in having a brawling mode but we ave a brawling theme going on with Pommern and look and behold there is a custom tailored game mode for it to be usefoul... What a coincidence... IDK about you but having a mode in which I am literally forced to choose between a handfull of ships is boring and cumbersome

Because: a) You cant use more then 3-4 cruisers and DDs in the mode without gimping yourself and your team making it repetitive and boring, also largely usleless for grinding stuff, even some BBs are of questinable value... b) You dont have a proper team to develop any kind of sensible tactic but you still end up with 2 possible full blown potaoes that can do re** stuff and lose the match, in 1 vs 1 at least you had your own destiny in hand, you fail it was on you, here you have just enough of a team for them to f* you... Thats why

Again thats secondary, I took out Buffalo, she is litteraly usless unles you get to pop a DD early (essentially him beeing mor*n) if you get a double BB across and Alska or similar agaisnt you you are literally doomed no matter what... You cant exert close pressure on them, ergo it will basically be 3 vs 2 ergo you stay alone in 3 min... Not to mention half of the time you have a Georiga agaisnt you and you cant kite her couse she just slams through your deck and bye boyo...

@OP They can be played as stated above, however if there is much point in playing them is another matter alltogether... I am regrinding the sam eline and 90% of time in Buffalo I catch myself thinking gosh I wish I was in Drake...

You dont even need a bad player its enough he didnt choose one of the ships suited for this garbage and its pretty much game over no matter what...

This is the worsk sprint ever IMHO, NEVER AGAIN
